Salman's weekend quote - "Bhagwan aapko bhi itni tarakki de ki aap bhi National Television me aakar apne bhateeje jo wish kar saken" 🤢

Wonder how many found it funny or witty? I am happy for his nephew but this sounded very condescending to me, Is this what we aspire for or should? He is so full of himself and thinks everyone wants to be in his shoes or be where he is..

I think he is one of the best hosts in National TV - provided he does not get personal and get condescending - which is what is happening on BB7.

I was hoping someone would bring it up... I found his point condescending too.
Box office makes superstars out of actors, and all this success and fan adulation has gone over their head.

Wishing happy birthday on national tv is not the end goal of all people and is certainly not a yardstick for success.

Wishing on National TV is good - but it is by no mean a yardstick for tarakki . There are other successful people beyond the acting profession (It is only anchors and actors who can speak on national TV ). indirectly - it sounded to me that you will never be as successful as me..Wishing a loved one Happy Birthday on National TV cannot be a measure of success that you wish upon your audience- it can seldom be achieved nor would i desire to achieve it.
I would like to wish my nephew Happy Birthday by taking him and his friends out for a special outing and giving him the gift he wants.. By spending quality time with him.. (Salman might do all this as well - i don't deny that) . It is the remark that put me off.. I don't have wishing my nephew Happy Birthday on National TV on my TO DO wishlist

Are you equating TV to social media?😆 In marketing, TV is not included in social media. They are two different segments.
