<font size="4">I had been a big fan of SAMUD in the Saraswatichandra show. SC is the only serial I watch on TV. Most of my friends have also been fans of the show and we watch the show regularly. First of all, I want to congratulate the team for completing 200 episodes!! I want to give some feedback from my friends group and from being a regular participant at India Forums.</font>

<font size="4">SC has been our favourite show for the last year, up until recently. The serial started off with a middle class family background with strong cultural and ethical values. The family instilled great values in their daughters and brought them up as strong & courageous girls, who always stood up for the right thing.. and we loved them for that. The family had to be proud of their "sanskar and values". </font>

<font color="#000000" size="4">The love between SAMUD was pure, strong, and innocent. I loved all the characters of Kumud family, innocent bubbly sisters Kusum and Kumari, principled VC, Badi Maa, Guniyal etc.</font>

<font color="#000000" size="4">Lately, in the last few months, the characters are loosing their integrity. Kusum has turned into a self centered, selfish & obsessive lover, trying to snatch her sisters love... while kumud is emotionally blackmailing and faulting Saras " you ruined my sisters life", while she can forgive Pramad, for murder, rape (planned against Kusum), physical/ emotional abuse, alcohol, incest with Kalika...etc. In this age and era, you are showing that Divorce is stigmatized and girls should still live with their pati, no matter what they do.</font>

<font color="#000000" size="4">Coming to Kusum's foolishness, no one including VC or Guniyal are focusing on getting Kusum some psychiatric help for this "psychotic" behaviour of cutting wrists, instead of blaming Saras. Saras indeed make a right decision, but may not have executed it the proper way...</font>

<font color="#000000" size="4">How can kumud whose every saans, made for Saras, thinks that Saras is the only option for her sister?? Danny is avery sweet guy, not like Pramad. Why can't her sister settle in marriage with Danny, instead of going after a guy who does not love her?. Early in her marriage, Kumud tried every which way to work her marriage with Pramad inspite of him being an evil character. Why can't Kusum be told to adjust with Danny, who is such a very nice guy compared to Pramad? Why does she not try to rectify her sister's lunatic behaviour? Why does Guniyal not tell her daughter that there was a physical and emotional relationship between Kumud-Saras!! </font>

<font color="#000000" size="4">Agreed Saras did the right thing , but in a wrong way, but why are they forcing the poor guy to marry his lovers younger sister... This is inscest in some cultures.. Where are the strong values of the Desai parivaar??</font>

<font color="#000000" size="4">There is lot of logic missing. ...</font>

<font color="#000000"><font size="4">The show is telling young girls that is <font color="#ff0000">"okay"</font> for :-</font></font>

<font color="#ff0000" size="4">KUMUD- to forgive and withdraw divorce, even though the husband is a murderer, rapist, involved in inscest, alcoholic, just because he is repentful now.</font>

<font color="#ff0000" size="4">KUSUM - Snatch jiju, who got engaged to her sister and is in deep love with her sister, because " l love myself and my fantasies more than my sisters and my families happiness". </font>

<font color="#ff0000" size="4">DESAI parivaar- to overlook the psychotic, obsessive suicidal behaviour of Kusum and believe the right treament is marrying her to their older daughters boyfriend.</font>

<font color="#000000" size="4">We feel we do not know these characters any more!! These were not the people we fell in love with..!!.</font>

<font color="#000000" size="4">Most of my friends are at the verge of stopping to watch SC. They are urging me to watch more sensible plays like balika vadhu..</font>

<font color="#000000" size="4">My love for SAMUD is probably keeping me watching the show still.</font>

<font color="#000000" size="4">Please read the thousands of comments from India Forum users about the show. Every one is disgusted by how Kusum and Kumud's characters have so much black shades in them now..</font>

SLB didn't ruin it. He was just going along the lines of the original novel where after Kumud's marriage when fate brings Saras at her in-laws place, they both fall in love all over again. Pramad doesn't like that and in turn abuses Kumud even more.

SLB's original vision was to complete the adhoori-daastan while keeping the values of the characters intact. But inhone toh sabke characters hi bigaad diye!

These writes and creative heads have completely ruined the original story. I thought that the new PH taking over would mean that Saras and Kumud will come out stronger and fight the society to get justice, then the show will focus on Saras's past and Kumud helping him and his father mend their relationship, take care of all the Ghuman issues, expose the truth about why Saras couldn't reach the alter on time going into Dukhba's plot, then the focus shifts to Sunny-Kusum and Danny-Kumari lovestories...

But instead we get total garbage...

Hegde is a man child who likes to fight with fans and tell them to watch other shows. He also ruined IPKKND by Shyam over-kill. Now here's s**tty Kusum and a misuse of every page in the book of religion and morality that is Saraswatichandra. They are celebrating 200 epis because of the SLB start off, if Gautam was in charge from the first, it would die a slow death like IPK did.
