Otherwise I agree that it doesn't make sense for him to "approach" Maham to read a letter from his Begum.

I think on it too

and concluded...

he called for salima to read ruks letter because he was expecting some intimidate n personal talks in it...

but jodha letter he will take it exactly as what it would be non romantic at all ...a formal letter with no personal hubby wiffy talks...

but still this is ekta touch ..he should go to salima instead ..or may be they will gonna show salima is not available...oh I m missing Abdul terribly

here the hurdle is...its history...😡...history doesn't focus on romance much...it focus on war..plotting...scheming...politics...gossip..revenge...royal court...punishment...sword fight...

i am just disappointed with jallu...why MA...when he always made salima read his personal letters...i wonder what plans runs into MA mind...her head to toe is venom...she is dangerous and chepu have made a entry..

guys, just think logically jalal will never expect jodha to write a personal or a love letter. he thought it to be a simple letter, thts why he told MA to read it. how will he ever imagine jodha will write a personal letter to him??? & 2ndly, story have to move forward. if MUs doesnt happen how will tht passionate confession b/w jalal & jodha come afterwards????

abe mujhe toh yeh nhi samajh aa rha ki agar mm yeh letter romantic usme padh bhi deti h toh baad mei jab misunderstanding over hogi toh woh phaas sakti h fir woh kaise aisa kar sakti h...

and jalal mahan apani begum ka letter apani maa (as he consider badi ammi as mother) se padha rha h...yeh iss jahan ka pehla aisa husband hoga...
