His 1888 Plum Shrub in Flower (After Hiroshige) is a stunning example of the appreciation he had for the printing he gathered. His edition is a little bit more stunning than Hiroshige's unique. After seeing Adolphe John Johnson Monticelli's perform at the Galerie Delareybarette, which he popular, Van Gogh instantly implemented a lighter scheme and a more stunning strike, particularly in painting such as his Seascape at Saintes-Maries (1888). Two decades later, in 1890, Vincent and Theo compensated to have a guide about Monticelli released, and Van Gogh purchased some of Monticelli's painting, including them to his selection.
