Part 10

Asad's House - Bhopal

Even though everybody were tired, they did not want to miss out on the family time and so they all gathered in the drawing room ...including Rashid on his wheel chair...

Dilshad sat down on the floor next to Rashid and put her hand on her hubby's leg.. Rashid smiled and ran his left hand through her hair...He was an extremely happy man irrespective of his physical condition because he knew his wife trusted him and waited for him for 20 long years.. and he wanted to recover soon for her and had made up his mind to be strong and put his efforts to recover soon...

Rashid's thoughts : "The only time you fail is when you fall down and stay down." "When you do what you fear most, then you can do anything." He kept on remembering these famous quotes and kept telling himself - Mein bees saal se is dar mein tha ki agar muje kuch hojaye to mein Dilshad aur mere bacchon se kabhi maafi nahi maang sakta hoon... lekin is ummed se zinda tha ki kabhi na kabhi allah rah dikhayenge... Aur muje maloom hain ki naumeedi gunha hain.. !! Allah mujpar reham kar.. Mein apne biwi aur bachon ke saath khul kar jeena chatha hoon... !! Reham kar mere maula !!

Dr. Saif had gone out to meet one of his friends in Bhopal and had told that he would be returning the next day... Anwar and Zeenath sat on the sofa while Najma and Imran sat next to them.. Asad went and sat on the other side of Rashid running his hand softly on Rashid's right hand... Zoya obviously went and sat next to Asad...

Zoya : Yeh koi silent session ho raha hain kya ?? Mein to aisa chup chap nahin bait sakti hoon !!

Zeenat : wahi to.. mein soch rahi thi.. meri choti behen kitne taqleef mein hogi.. aise chup chap rehne se...

Zoya : Jeeju... apki wife se kehdijiye.. Muje chede nahin.. warna itna daudaoongi...

Anwar: Zeenat.. kyun bacchi ko satha rahi ho ??

Zeenat : Bacchi ?? Anwar.. lagta hain apko chashme ki zaroorat hain.. Asad se nikaah to tair hogaya hain... Agle saal tak uska khudh ka ek baccha hoga... !!

Instead of Zoya blushing, Asad was found to be blushing... And he tried to look away...

Najma : Bhaijaan aaj aap sach mein lag rahe Tamatar ke bhai... !!

Asad : Najma !!

Dilshad : Zeenat beta... Phele tum banao humein dadi.. !!

As soon as Dilshad told this, a tear fell down from Zeenat and stood up to go...

Dilshad : Zeenat.. maaf kardo beta agar mujse koi galti hui hain to.. Kya hua beta ?? and she went and hugged Zeenat...

Anwar : Ammi.. actually Zeenat ka treatment chal raha hain... Insha allah sab teek hojayega...

Zoya also stood up and hugged her sister : Api.. aap bhi na.. Medical science itna advance hogaya hain.. Aap mere saath Mumbai chaliye aur ek baar mere shalei Dr. Jyoti se miliye.. wo bahut hi acchi Gynaecologist hai..

Zeenat : Nahi Zoya.. Mein Mumbai nahin aoongi...

Zoya : Aisa kya hogaya hain api.. ?? Aap Mumbai kyun ana nahin chathi hain.. !! Please itne saal hogaye hain.. Abbu aur Farhaan Bhaijaan bhi aap se milna chathe hain na ??

Zeenat : Mat lo Farhaan ka naam mere saamne...

Zoya got really shocked seeing Zeenat getting angry hearing Farhaan's name...

Zoya :Lekin hua kya hain api ?? Please batayiye.. !! Nikhat babhi apki dost hain na.. wo Bhaijaan ko chodkar kyun chaligayi ?? Ab to batadijiye...

Zeenat could not control any further .. She started crying and sat down on the floor...

Zeenat : Meri galti ke wajah se hi shayad allah ne muje aaj tak aulad nahin diya hain..

Zoya : Please api.. Please.. apne aap ko sambhaliye... Aur sach kya hain batayiye...Farhaan bhaijaan ki kya galti hain ??

Anwar : Mein batata hoon... Nikhat meri dost hain..aur hum dono ek hi office mein kaam bhi kartein hain... Zeenat ne hi Nikhat ka rishta Farhaan se jod ne ki baat ki thi... Jab Nikhat talaaq de kar wapis agayi to Nikhat kahi mahino tak toot chuki thi.. baad mein sachayyi patha chali... Farhaan ke research ke silsile mein kisi Dr. Dan Mumbai ayethe... Aur Nikhat ko ye malum nahin tha.. ki undono ke beech kya research chal raha tha.. aur kya deal tha.. lekin Nikhat ko sirf ye patha tha ki Farhaan .. Dr. Dan ke kisi dabav me tha... Aur ... he paused few seconds looking at Zeenat and Zoya before continuing...

Anwar : Ek din.. Farhaan.. Nikhat ko dinner pe leke gaya tha..aur wahan Dr. Dan ke saath mulakat hogayi thi.. Nikhat ne dekha ki Farhaan aur Dr. Dan ke beech kuch to heated conversation chal raha tha... lekin door se wo kuch sun nahin payi thi... aur uske baad.. Farhaan ne dhoke se Nikhat ko Dr. Dan ke hotel mein chodkar agaya tha...Nikhat ne bahut koshish ki thi.. wahan se nikalne keliye lekin bichari ko bachane koi nahin mila...Sirf humari dosti ki wajah se Nikhat ne police mein complaint nahin diya.. warna Farhaan ab tak Jail me hota...

Zoya : Aap dono se bahut hi badi galti hua hain jeeju... Farhaan Bhai ne jo bhi kiya wo maafi ke layak nahin hain... !! Aurat kamzor nahin hain... Agar hum hi aise chup chap bait jate hain...to ghunegar aur ghuna karta jayega... !! Ghuna ghuna hota hain.. chahe wo jo bhi ho.. humein insaaf ka saath dena chahiye... !!

Zoya continued to tell everybody about Farhaan's phone call and also about mentioning about Dr. Dan over the phone and finally about his suspicious behavior at home recently...

Now that things were discussed in front of everybody, Asad also decided to tell what he had found out...

Asad : Dr. Dan bhi ek scientist hain.. Wo shayad Delhi ke rehne wale hain... Jab Zoya ne muje Farhaan ke barein me bataya.. to meine patha lagaya ki Farhaan aur Dr. Dan Mumbai ke Research Institute mein kuch saal kaam saath mein kaam karthe the.. aur baad mein Dr. Dan Delhi shift hogaye... lekin Farhaan ke phone calls ke record ko dekh kar patha chala ki Dr. Dan ke saath touch mein hain... shayad dono kisi research mein ek dusre ke madath kar rahein hain lekin apne institute se bahar...bas itna patha chala...

Zoya : Ek minute and she immediately went in to get her hand bag.. and took out a test tube with a weird looking liquid in it... Actually mein bhi pareshan thi.. Farhaan Bhai ne ghar pe ek lab set up kiya hain.. Wahan jis pe wo kaam kar rahein the, wo mein todha layi hoon.. shayad Najma yeh test karke bata sakti hain.. ki yeh hain kya...

Najma : Zoya Babhi.. kal hum college jayenge.. aur iske barein mein patha lagayenge.. Dr. Saif ko bhi leke jayenge...

Next Day, Najma's College...

After testing for nearly 3 hours, Najma came out with a worried look where Imran, Dr. Saif, Asad and Zoya were waiting...

Zoya : Yeh hai kya Najma batao ?? aur itna ghabraiye kyun ho ??

Najma : Bhabhi.. ye ek aisa virus hain jo insaan ke immunity ko dheere dheere khatam kar sakti hain... iska asar directly nerves pe hota hain... bahut hi kamzor banadeta hain.. aur bahut sarein medicines iske asar se kaam nahin karega... Humein patha lagana hoga ki ispar aapke bhaijaan kyun kaam kar rahein hain... ??

Zoya's eyes were filled with tears and she sat down on one of the chairs... She could not believe that her brother could stoop down to such a low level and play with the lives of people... Asad understood her pain and he sat next to her and held her by her shoulders and wiped her tears...

Asad : Zoya.. calm down.. ho sakta hain.. ki Farhaan iske antidote doond ne mein kaam kar raha hain.. jaldbazi se kaam nahin karsakte hain...

Zoya : Nahin Mr. Khan.. muje yakeen hain ki wo galat kaam hi kar rahein hain... agar aisa nahin hota to wo Nikhat babhi ke saath aise ghilone harkat nahin kartein... Humein ab police ko bata dena chahiye...Ab wo hi investigage kar saktein hain...

Asad : Phele hum tumhare abbu se baat karenge... Mera yakeen karo.. mein tumhare saath hoon.. Agar Farhaan kisi gair kanooni kaam mein sach mein laga hua hain to wo zaroor zaza payega...!! Police ko dono ke barein mein investigations shuru karne kehdete hain...

After a week, Zoya's House, Mumbai

Gafoor was informed about everything... and he being a principled man had obviously wanted the law to punish his son for his bad deeds.. He was emotionally and mentally a broken man but he held himself for the sake of his daughters...

Police walked in with an arrest warrant... and since they had informed Asad and Gafoor about this, everybody were at home including Anwar and Zeenat...

Farhaan : Tum ne teek nahin kiya Zoya... Tum apne Bhaijaan ke kilaaf report diya...

Zoya : Aap ne shayad notice nahin kiya ki meine apko Bhaijaan kehna band kar diya hain.. aapne jo bhi ghuna kiya hain Nikhat babhi se wo maafi ke layak nahin hain.. aur uske upar desh ke gaddar hain aap.. !! Aap khud itna kamate the.. aur inshah allah abbu ke paas bhi itni daulat hain... phir aap ne yeh sab kyun kiya ??

Farhaan : Tumhe yeh sab batana zaroori nahin hain !!

Zeenat : Zaroori hain.. Agar yahan nahin batoge to court mein sach sabke samne batana hi padega...

Gafoor : Tum ne meri izzat mitti mein miladi Farhaan... Muje yakeen nahin ho raha hain ki tum yeh sab kar sakte ho..

Farhaan : Abbu.. yeh sab aap ki wajah se hua hain !! Aap ne jo bhi mera saath karnewale the.. mein bhi yakeen nahin kar saktha hoon...

Gafoor : Kya keh rahe ho Farhaan ?? Maine kya kiya... ?? Teek se batao !!

Farhaan : Kuch saal pehle muje apka will papers haath mein lag gaya tha... Apne property ke sirf 10% mere naam aur baki sab apki in dono beti ke naam kar di hain.. Nafrat karta hoon aap sab se.. Mein bhi dikha deta ki mein kitna kama sakta hoon... And he looked angrily at Zoya for spoiling all his plans...

Gafoor immediately went and slapped Farhaan !!

Gafoor : Agar tum ek baar puch lete to shayad meri ye do bacchi sab kuch tumhare hawale kardete... Tum mere bte nahin ho sakte ho... chale jao yahan se... Please inspector leke jayiye isse... !!

Two Weeks later :

Farhaaan's case was investigated and all the linked criminals involved in this activity were arrested. Farhaan and Dr. Dan were given life long imprisonment...Anwar and Zeenath had given their approval to hand over Gafoor's business to Asad...but on Zoya and Asad's insistence, some shares of the company were transferred to Zeenat's name... Asad had insisted Gafoor to shift to his house along with Zoya after the nikaah and he had also convinced his parents to shift to Mumbai since Najma and Imran would also be in Mumbai...!!
