Yesterday's episode was a little annoying to me. I get Dilshad's point of how Asad should stay in the Siddique mansion despite all the issues to prove that he is the better man but during this whole fiasco from the time when Dilshad decided to leave her house, I've only wondered one thing, What About Asad??
I mean it's a little sad that no one gives what Asad is feeling any importance. They say they understand that he is hurt but at the end of the day, they end up either scolding him for behaving this way or forcing him to do something he doesn't want to do.
I so wished Massey was better right now and back in the show. Despite being an AsYa fan, I love Ayaan for the way he tells people off and stands by what he feels. At least if Ayaan was here today, he would have stood by Asad's side or so I hope that's what Gul Khan would have done.
Anyways, coming back to the point, I just want to say it would be nice to see Zoya and Dilshad showing a little more sympathy for what Asad is going through as well. I get the whole he should not be stubborn and that he should forgive his elders but it would not hurt to say "I understand your feelings".
Asad wanted to leave NY and Zoya blasts him for being a stone hearted person. In reference to her dialogue where she says that at least he has a father, I would just like to say it's better to not know and have a father in your life and than to have one that not only abandoned you but took away the people you love from your life as well. I don't get why Zoya never thought of that. They both have lost their father in different ways, I had hoped for Zoya to have shown a better understanding of Asad's state of mind.
And coming to Dilshad, sorry to say this but I really am mad at her right now. I mean you want to prove yourself as a better wife and mother but somehow, you don't see the pain your son is in. All you're worried about is Asad proving himself as a better son?? Why don't you worry about his broken heart first?? And really?? Forcing him to stay in the same house?? You could have just asked him to visit Rashid every day or whatever !! What's the point of making your son live in a place that he considers hell?? She should have found a middle way since she knows how hard this is for Asad but it seems like the only thing in her mind right now is Rashid !!
No one gets that Asad lost his father years ago and today, he lost his mother and brother due to his father again. Why shouldn't he be mad?? For all the pain that he's going through right now, I just hope we get an awesome scene of Asad leaving SM the moment Rashid is well. That will give a reality check to Dilshad that this so call one family thing that she's trying to make will never work, especially when she does not realise the damage that she herself has done by going back to Rashid.
Really sad to see Asad all alone, despite being surrounded by his loved ones. For now, I just hope we get a scene where at least Zoya tries to understand Asad's point of view and not just calm him down. I seriously feel it is important for Zoya to realise that Asad is also right in some ways in this situation. He's not just being stubborn, there's a lot more to it than just that!
