About Neil's Character - DNA

With Sandhya (Deepika Singh) gearing up to start training to be an IPS officer inDiya Aur Baati Hum, there will be a couple of new characters introduced in the show. One of them is Neil Bhatt who was last seen in Saavdhan India. The actor who came into the limelight as Laxman inRamayan aired on Zee will be playing Sandhya's (Deepika Singh) competitor when she is training for IPS. "He will be her fellow-student, friend and confidante. He will help her when she faces obstacles. Neil's character will be a straight-forward guy with a wry sense of humour like Amitabh Bachchan's in Sholay," says the source. Neil, however, said that though he has been approached for the role, nothing is finalised yet.
