4th Stage
And then the lover.
Sighing like a furnace, with a woeful ballad.
Made to his mistress' eyebrow.
As these lines were read out by the teacher , my cheeks were flushed , knowing exactly where everyone would be looking now. As the teacher explained these lines , I just wanted to dig a big hole and bury myself there. My friend nudged me.
"What!"
She nods in a no. I sighed , and looked at the teacher.
---
These lines were read and I couldn't help but look at her , her cheeks were flushed , I could clearly understand what she must be thinking. Probably wanting to dig a hole and bury herself in there. I somehow controlled my laughter , when I saw her friend nudging her. She looked so adorable with that small pout.
"Reyaansh."
"Yes ma'am?"
I stood up , and she looked behind .
"Explain these lines."
"Uh , ma'am in these lines , the poet is speaking about the 4th stage of a man. Where he is a lover , and if the lady he loves rejects him , he thinks that his life has ended , and that he has no reason to live. So he starts writing awful ballads that is a poem in a story format ."
"Good. You may sit."
---
As he read these lines , I stared at him , controlling my giggle . After all I have seen those awful ballads which he has written for his lady love . Just the difference is that she had not actually rejected him . just that this "phattu" does not have the guts to go and speak to her. I then shifted my eyes on kria , who was giggling . Of course who won't. Listening some explanations normally from reyaansh singhaania is surprising , but that's what happens with everyone when the teacher who has asked for an explanation is damn strict.
I shrugged the thoughts away , and looked at Sharon. She looked so pretty , as she sat timidly . afraid that kria would burst out any moment from now. I controlled by giggle. Sharon turned to me , and gave her weird "HI" , and I saw kria bursting out laughing seeing that. Why did she have to stretch the III , and give such a weird smile .
--
I was busy protecting myself from the wrath of my friend kria , but then thank god to rey's explanation , she giggled. So I started speaking to her again. When she nudged me , and told me that swayam was looking here. I smiled mischievously. Oh! How much I love giving that really cheesy Hi to swayam. Come on that's my habit , I do that even to rey , when I find him staring at kria. But with swayam , I really loved the confused hi he would reply back with. So I turned and saw him.
"HIII."
Swayam looked at me confused. Kria burst out laughing , and he replied back with a hi.
"Sharon , kria and swayam seem a bit out of the class , kria come to the first bench , ria shift to her place , and Sharon sit there in the corner. Swayam come sit right in front of me."
Oh no! Not again , what is her problem with all of us , I saw rey smirk. Hass le beta , tera bhi din aayega. And I sat down. But to my luck as soon as I sat , the bell rang and I did a small dance. I pitied swayam , he was sitting right under the sadu's nose. Poor him .
---
Just a random thought. If you all like it i will continue.
P.S- Rey is not the reason for kria's annoyance. The lines are from "Seven Ages" by William Shakespere. The first POV is of kria , then rey , then swayam , and then sharon.
