I don't have to write a big paragraph on Kumud's character because it can be described in one word,'masochist'.She was not so before but became after Saras refused to marry her, so Saras is the main person to be blamed because he is a masochist and sadist both.

in present situation i fnd kumud wrong not saras ...sacrificing in name of ghar ki izzat and disillusioned sister is no more in fashoin ...now women r empowered and intelligent enough

very true, and she is not only sacrificing her love but saras's too,if she wants to sacrifice her love it's her wish i.e. if she wants to play masochist but she has no right to sacrifice saras's love for her.
