Hello every one,

..I did not expect from myself me to type the update even after being too busy but I got short spans of time in between and typed it.This is called Maaneet adiction😆😳😳

I know it's short but something is better than nothing so here I M with the update😃

This update is dedicated to Neha Gupta She gave so many ideas for PV but I couldn't include them for some reason.Second part of the update is based upon her idea only.Thanks Neha for the idea..I loved it..hope you too will like it the way I wrote it

I hope You all will enjoy the Maaneet moments in this update. Old precap will be continued in next update only

@ all who are feeling bad for not being able to give comments because of some reasons or exams----Don't worry friends, I never feel bad about that ..take a chill pill and enjoy the update

@ all who have a doubt if I have forgotten about the surprise which Yash wanted to give Geet---No..I have not forgotten any thing.Actually No body in the family knows about the surprise except Yash..So we will need a person who knows about the surprise..So I will bring that person at right time..

So You all too don't' worry as I don't forget anything so easily

Part-26

In the evening Maan was about to leave with Geet but Ram got some call .It was from one of his important client..so he asked Maan to wait for him.

Maan-Papa but Geet too is here..and Anie is there with Sudha aunty..

Geet-It's okey Maan...I will take a cab..

Ram- Nahin Geet..it wont look good...Maan let's do one thing..Gautam ji's office is near to their house so tell him to drop Annie at home after they reach their house.and also inform them that you are going to be late. Our office is in opposite direction so rahul will find it tough to come here to pick Geet.

Maan-ok

Ram-Is it fine with you Geet?

Geet-ya..I have no problem..they all were in Maan's cabin and receptionist informed them about the arrival of the client..

Ram-Geet you wait here we will be back after the meeting..He is very important client to can't ignore him.

Geet-papa please don't sound so formal.I m just fine.you both can go..I will be waiting for you here...

Maan and Ram left for the meeting. Geet set on the chair and started to watch here and there.

There was the picture of Maan and Yash on the wall..her lips curled in to a smile seeing that pic.same pics was in Yash's cabin .She could understand the relationship between the two brothers..Then she had a look on the table of Maan.She felt that something lacked there..One thing was very surprising for her..She didn't find the picture of Arpita any where on the table..

He had seen the picture of her mother in her father's cabin and his MIL's picture in Ram's cabin. She did not know if Yash had her picture or not on his table as she came rarely there but Now Maan has converted yash's cabin in to her cabin so she can't see her picture there.But Why Maan hasn't put her deceased wife's picture on her table.Does he not miss her? But Arpita was carrying his baby..so how it is possible for him to not miss her.She was very confused . First she thought to ask Maan about it but then she thought-Geet it's his personal matter you shouldn't interfere in that.May be he is missing her a lot so he has removed her picture from there as he will miss her more by seeing it..

It was 8: oo pm in the evening.She called at home and found that rahul had gone to drop Anie at KM.she smiled naughtily as she thought about both of them.She informed Gautam that meeting is still going on so she will be late..and advised them to have their dinner as Rahul too will be late in returning.and Sudha needs her medicines on time and for that it's very necessary to have her dinner at time.

Gautam-Theek hai meri maa.we will have our dinner at time..any thing else you want to say..

Geet-No..Good night papa..

Gautam-Good night Geet.Take care

Geet-sure and she cut the phone..

She waited for some more time and again looked at the clock in the wall.It said-8:30 pm

Geet got bore finally she put her head on the back of the chair and in few minutes she dosed off.

It was 9:00 at night ..

Ram and Maan were free from the meeting..

Maan-Papa you go home I will drop Geet and then will reach home

Ram-OK Maan-..Take care and he went in to his cabin and Maan left for his cabin..There he witnessed the mesmerising scene

Geet was sleeping soundly on the chair her head was tilted to her one side and her curls were on her face and they were dancing there due to the air of the fan .

Though she was sleeping yet she was feeling disturbed by those curls.

Maan came near her.. and he wanted to remove them from her face to make her comfortable.

He forwarded his hand to remove those curls

but controlled himself from doing that as she will not like it..and it would not be right for him too

He called her -Geet..wake up.ghar jana hai..But she didn't respond..He shook his head at her seeing her sleeping so peacefully

He again called her- Geet..and he tapped on her shoulder too.Geet heard that voice and feeling something on her shoulder she instantly woke up-Kaun hai .she looked at him with drowsy eyes

Maan-Geet relax main hoon.. Maan.

Geet-Oh ..sorry wo main bore ho rahi thi..pata hi nahin chala kab so gayi?

Maan-It's okey..Let's go..

Geet-Is meeting over? Papa kahaan hain

Maan-Yes..and papa has left for home. ab chalo

Geet-Hmmm..

They left for HM.

Geet was still feeling sleepy.. She was trying hard to keep herself awake but was not working. She tried to distract herself from that thought of sleeping.

She switched on the FM ..and a very romantic song was being played on FM..

As Maan heard the lyrics he looked at Geet but She was enjoying the song.A smile crept on his lips seeing her shaking her head on the music.But the song was forcing him to think about Geet

He remembered about the moment when they were so close a day before in HM when Geet was upon him in his arms.he still could feel the Geet's that aroma around him ..he could feel her fast breathing on his face this time too

Geet was not affected by that song as she was only trying to keep her sleep away but Maan was feeling something churning in his stomach..Geet was sitting beside him. Being not able to tolerate that song he switched off the FM

Geet-Maan mujhe neend aa rahi thi to maine on kiya isko..to distract myself from sleeping. Aapne off kyun kiya?

Maan -wo ...wo..

Geet .Maan kya wo wo laga rakha hai.

Maan-Haan .. Geet actually I m not able to concentrate on driving ..Music se disturbance hota hai mujhe

Geet-What? Are you sure?

Maan nodded without looking at her

Geet-OK.but I m feeling sleepy so don't blame me if I sleep here only.Theek hai?

Maan-Hmm it's ok.You can sleep if u want..

Geet-really? Aap ko bura nahin lagega?

Maan-No

Geet-phir sone me kya maza? I will try to be awake ..

Maan-Matlab tumhen logon ko sataane me maza aata hai?

Geet-Well I must say-YES..you know I always made Rahul irritate by doing the things which he didn't like..and seeing him going to complain to Mamma was just too funny to see.

Maan smiled to hear that sweet talks.

Maan-Yash ko bhi tang karti thi kya aise hi?.

Geet-Haan.. Unko sataane me to bahut maza aata tha..unko agar tang nahin karti to wo to baat hi nahin karte kabhi..to unse baat karne ke liye unko satana zaroori tha warna to wo hmesha...and Geet stopped at once ..Her eyes became watery talking about Yash and Maan cursed himself for asking that..

He said-sorry ..

Geet-It's okey..She wiped her eyes and set quietly.

Maan too drove silently .He did not have courage to look again at her.so he concentrated on road.

Maan saw the red light on next crossing and he stopped the car..He heard a knock on the window. he looked there and found two small children standing with some rose flowers in their hands.One was boy and another was girl.He polled down the glass and asked-Kya chahiye?

Boy-Sir red roses hain..Symbol of love..Le lijiye na

Maan-Main kya karoonga

Girl-Sir madam ke liye le lijiye. she will love them..

Maan looked at Geet and found her sleeping. she slept while thinking about Yash.

Boy-She is sleeping now..but will be happy to see them after she wakes up.she is so cute na.please sir hume ghar bhi jana hai.our mother is waiting for us..Your wife will love you more when she will get these beautiful flowers

Maan stared at those children..How perfect these children are in their profession.They know how to impress someone.He.thought for some time and he bought all the flowers and gave them money.Children were so happy to see that their all flowers were sold.

Girl-bhaiya jaldi chalo bhookh lagi hai.

Maan smiled to hear that and the children ran from there.Maan kept all the flowers on the dash board.. He once again gave a look to geet.She was still sleeping.He could see the line of dry tears on her cheek.he felt bad for her.Today he was the reason of those tears..Light was green so he started the car and after some time reached HM.

Maan-Geet ...Geet..

Geet-Hmm

Maan-Ghar aa gaya

Geet-oh sorry..she was about to get down from the car,her eyes fell on flowers.

Geet-ye kiske liye hain..when did you buy them?

Maan-when you were sleeping.on the red light two children were selling them.

Geet-Kiske liye hain?

Maan-Kiske liye?(ST) waise to tumhaare liye hain but I know you wont like it..(To Geet) Actuallly those children were in hurry to go back to home as they were hungry.So I bought them.Ab le liye hain to Aunty ko de doonga..

Geet-So sweet of you Maan. they are so very pretty.

She picked up those flowers in her and and caressed them.Seeing this Maan was happy as if his wish was fulfilled .For him Geet accepted them.that was enough for him

They went in . Flowers were still in Geet;s hand.Rahulwas awakened yet.He was back from KM after dropping Anie.

Rahul-Aa gaye tum log? How was the day?

Geet-It was superb ..as she muffled her laughter remembering the interview scene..

Rahul-kya hua Geet?

Geet-Nothing..

Mamma papa so gaye kya?

Rahul -yes I forced them to sleep .

Geet-Maan ne mamma ke liye flowers liye the..No problem I will tell her in the morning. I will keep them safe with me. Sorry Maan ..you couldn't give them to Mamma

Maan-Nahin it;'s okey ek hi baat hai..Now I m going..Goodnight.

Rahul-Maan have dinner with us.you will be late till you reach home

Geet-He is right Maan..

Maan-Maa must be waiting for me..

Rahul-main aunty ko kah kar aaya hoon kit tum dinner hamaare saath karoge..She was at peace to know this otherwise she would have to wait for you till midnight..

Geet-Wow Rahul..you have became so sensible..I m impressed.

Rahul-Impressed ki bachchhi.Do you think I don't have a sense?

Geet-maine kab kaha

Rahul slaped at the back of her head and said-ab jaldi kar bhookh lagi hai. khana le kar aa..

Geet-Okey Boss..Give me two minutes .and she went in her room.Flowers were still in her hand..So the wish of Man was not unheard...after few minutes they all were having their dinner and Geet was narrating to Rahul about what happened in the office in the day.

Maan was just watching her talking to her brother..He was seeing the old Geet was coming back who talked endlessly..

After Dinner Maan left from there.He was feeling so happy in his heart..But he knew it well too that this happiness was only onesided..Geet was still much attached to Yash..But Maan did not feel bad for himself as it was not Geet's fault that he had started to feel for her..It was his heart who was in love with Geet.

He reached Km and slept in his bed..thinking about the day which they both spent together.

Days passed -

Maan feeling deeper and deeper for Geet with each passing day and Geet being dependent on Maan in all matters,be it in office or at home..But She trusted him only as his friend and his husbands brother as Yash told her that he and Maan were two bodies with one soul.

Sudha"s plaster was cut and her leg was fine so after spending two more days.. it was time for Geet to leave for her home..

Precap-old one continues(NO one could guess right about that emotional day..It will be karwachauth ..Let's see how everyone takes it..as it's first karwachauth after Geet's marriage .and she is widow now..)
