Salima may have looked like she didn't want to be there but I think she's the one who has the down to earth attitude. She knows what it's like to be in Tasneem's shoes. She is a living breathing example standing there, saying silently, this is how it was and still is.
Ruqaiyya said what she had to say. Direct. Jodha recovered from her recent promotion to Begum e Khas and gave a speech about what a woman is. I wasn't surprised. Jodha is still angry about a lot of things. The fact that she was the balidan for Amer's security is a bittersweet thing for her. It will always be a burden on her heart. She counters that heaviness of the soul with some fighting talk. It's not endearing, but it is very understandable.
Will Jalal be able to work out what to take away from the 3 begums meeting. I somehow think he will. What...he's the hero of this show, so indulge me a bit please. 😊 He knows that Salima has too many bad memories that she would rather not think about. He may not have shown any reaction to Jodha's mini tirade, but I bet he took mental notes for future reference to use in their love story. But I don't know if he has correctly anticipated Ruqaiyya's next move.
Jodha in between is trying to analyse her feelings about being khas. I have no idea. Moti just told her to stop making mountains out of molehills and get on with being a Begum. ... but... what does being a Khas Begum to Jalal really mean??
