I was recently reading some book on history.
There it said Rani Karnavati sent rakhi to emperor Humayun when Bahadur Shah of Gujarat attacked Mewar/Chittor. This despite Babur his father had defeated Rana Sangha in war many years back. But Humayun was in war and his ministers adviced him not to go. But he ignored their advice and went to mewar but by the time he arrived Rani Karnavati committed jauhar. Her children Vikramaditya and Udai Singh were sent to bundi to save their lives. Humayun arrived and defeated Bahadur Shah and reinstated Vikramjeet as a king of Mewar. He followed Bahadur Shah to Mlawa and Champanir and defeated Bahadur Shah. Because of this incident Humayun lost the war he was fighting somewhere else and also his entire kingdome because his brothers got chance to rebel against him and also propogate that he was not a good choice for mughal emperor since he left mughal interests and went to save some Rajput queen who only sent him rakhi.
But if that is case then why is Udai Singh saying Humayun was responsible for his mothers death. That person lost a war and his kingdom to help Rani Karnavati and roamed as vagabond for 15 years because of this costly mistake?
Secondly i read that Akbar as a young teenager was upset one day and tansen started singing Meera bhajan which gave him inmmense peace. He asked who wrote that and tansen said meera bai and gave her details. Akbar wanted to her her hiomself so went disguised with tansen to meera temple in chittor fort. He sat and listened for along time all her bhajan and in end bend down and touched her feet and offered his invaluable necklace. Meera said to offer it to Lord Krishna and he kept that at Lord Krishna's feet and left. But somehow her husband Rana Kumbha came to know the truth and the Rana became furious. He told Meerabai, "Drown yourself in the river and never show your face to the world in future. You have brought great disgrace on my family". Meera went to die but was saved by Lord Krishna and she left to mathura and stayed there. But definetly this cannot be proved because no one has idea when meera bai died to verify the claims
So do you think these incidents also led to akbar having so much animosity to mewar?

You are right. Kranavati sends Rakhi to Humayun & asks for help when Bahadurshah of Gujarat attacks Mewad, but there are many interpretations about Humayun coming for help. Some write that Humayun comes but he comes too late, & some historians write that Humayun rejects to help as he will have to fight a fellow Muslim for a sake of non Muslim. Many Historians portray Humayun as religious Muslim. Some Historians write that by the time Humayun reaches Kranavati commits Jauhar & Chittod fell to hands of Bahadur Shah. About this Many Historians have many facts.

Akbar & Pratap had no personal enmity with each other. Pratap's problem was that he like his fore fathers could not bow in front of invaders & could never accept foreign occupation over Mewad, as he wanted his kingdoms to be independent. Akbar too had no personal issues with Pratap, Akbar wanted that all kings in India must consider him as Emperor, whole of Rajutana except Mewad accepted him as Emperor, But Maharana Pratap of Mewad was not ready to do that. Not only Pratap but many kingdoms in Deccan to resisted Mughal invasion.

i also know this story...actually the main culprit is Bairam Khan for whom the Rajputana always against Akbar and Bairam Khan also took advanatge of the name of Akbar for his own selfish reason and thats why all people thought Akbar was wrong and Akbar totally unware about this and he thought all rajputna's r his enemy ...but after marriage with Jodha a huge difference came out , when Akbar learn about real intention of Bairam Khan and also Akbar close relative who r actually fullfill own wish on the behind of Akbar using Akbar name so that Akbar will be culprit infront of people. After learning the truth Akbar thrown out these people and closely attached with other Hindu ( example is Navaratna of his court). and Akbar became a powerfull and popular king.

As per all know two lion never be friend in one forest...so Pratap was one fighter who can depfeat and challange always Akbar. and pratap was a good king also but at that time for Bairam Khan and some other powerful people of mugal people hate Akbar.
