Ekta’s Merger Special! - An article

Ekta Kapoor, the queen of soap operas, has decided to give a befitting reply to the launch of Paresh Rawal's ' Teen Bahuraniyan' on Zee from March 26, and for this purpose the Balaji is going to merge three of its popular soaps Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kayamath in a ninety minute special show.

As Ekta says, ' This is the mother-merger among soap operas. We have 80 actors for the 90 minute special. We have done up three sets with the same look for three different shootings. Five directors will shoot over five days, 24 hours, for the three units of the special episode. All the creative heads have been assigned a job each. Six editing rooms at Balaji are ready to edit the material round -the -clock.'
