The immensely popular Gautam Rode, better known as Saras' from Star Plus's Saraswatichandra, shares with urlremoved his take on food!

Are you a non-vegetarian or vegetarian?

I am a pure vegetarian.

Do you live to eat or eat to live?

I eat to live, as I am not a big foodie as such.

Which is your favourite cuisine?

I love Indian food!

Which are your favourite restaurants?

Prego at the Westin Mumbai, which serves some awesome whole wheat pasta!

Street food that you love to eat?

I don't eat any street food.

Which is your favourite Dessert?

So, it's only when I am unwell, that I love gorging on chocolate pastry!

Name a dish you will never refuse to eat?

Muesli and Oats are something I will never refuse to eat!

Name a dish you will refuse to eat?

I can never eat anything fried.

Tell us about your fondest memory associated with food?

When I was back home in Delhi, I would always pick up chole-kulcha from a stand near the bus stop I used to get of at during school days. So I would take that home and happily eat it all. Which will always be a fond memory for me.

A celebrity you would like to cook for?

Umm, that would definitely be Al Pacino!

A weird combination of food that actually tasted good?

Jalebis and Chocolate Pastry together! Which actually does taste awesome.
