Khushi moved over to give her husband space as he got into bed before snuggling up to him. She felt him stretch his legs and turn onto his side to pull her against his body. The past couple of days had been difficult for the both of them. Arnav had been busy with a new take over and Khushi had been busy with the expansion of her catering business.
As a birthday gift, Arnav had presented Khushi with plans for a possible restaurant venture and after giving it some thought Khushi realized that it was something she would ultimately like to do. She had spent the past few days looking at locations with her sister and sister-in-law while her husband spent his time in Mumbai attending meetings.
Khushi was surprised at how much actually went into setting up a business and by the second day she was bone tired, physically and mentally. On the third day after being shown some unfit properties, an overwhelmed Khushi had called Arnav to tell him that she was just happy being his wife and that she was done with the restaurant business. Knowing his wife was just stressed out, Arnav had talked to this wife and promised her he would go location hunting with her as soon as he came back to Delhi.
An hour after Arnav's private jet had landed, he was standing in front of a potential buyable venue with his arm wrapped around his wife. He had watched his excited wife walk around the venue telling him everything she loved about the place and in that moment all his tiredness had washed away. After his wife had decided to put in an offer, she had kissed him in plain view and thanked him for everything. The real estate agent had been a bit shocked at seeing the ruthless ASR engaging in PDA but quickly realizing that the couple were oblivious to their surroundings, he decided to give them some privacy.
Khushi gently caressed her husband's face while languidly kissing him. For the first time in the past week, Khushi noticed the dark circles under Arnav's eyes and frowned. She had accepted that her man was a workaholic but now she was sure that he worked too hard for his own good.
"Why do you work so much?"
"So my wife can spend my money."
"No seriously I mean even if you didn't work so hard AR would still be untouchable. I'm not making this up you know I saw a report on AR in the news the other day."
"Because it's all I know. I've done it for so long that it's become a habit."
"When was the last time you had a vacation?"
"Khushi are you forgetting that I went to New York two weeks ago and that I came back from Mumbai today?"
"No Laad Governor! I'm not talking about a business trip I'm talking about a vacation! Going somewhere to relax.
"3 years ago I went to Miami with Akash."
"That's it! I'm calling Aman tomorrow to find out your schedule and then I'm planning a vacation for the both of us!"
Giving into this fiery wife's demands, Arnav kissed her good night and waited for sleep to come as he cuddled with the woman in this arms.
