thanks shamsad...yes rathod's past is a major part of this story...though it will come gradually..😉

P.S when will u update haunted mansion? been quite long havent gone there😛

Here comes the next part of the story hope ull enjoy it...i have tried my best to do justice to this part...🤔

Chapter 4:

'Shree, ye mobile mila hai,check kar lo kuch na kuch to zaroor milega',ayesha said giving shree a mobile.

'Ayesha tumhe kiya lagta hai,ise koi kiyu marega?',shree asked her
'I dont know yaar,practically ise marne ki koi zaroorat hi nehi hai,ye to khud marna chahati hai',aisha exclaimed

'kiya matlab?'

'look at her shree,20years,college mein 2nd year english hons ki student,ise drugs lene ki koi khas wajay nazar ati hai tumhe??pata nehi in logo ko kiya hota hai?? apne ap ko popular and cool dikhane ki liye kahi bhi kuch bhi karti hai..first buri sangat then drugs then death.Is death ko to investigate karna hi nehi chahiye..lakh bolo inhe samajhte hi nehi.'

'sahi kaha,ye log mar jate hai aur piche family ko chor jate hai takleef mein,khair chalo iski room check karte hai,warna wo dammit akehi chikna suru kar dega,waise arjun sir nehi aa rahe,he will be in office'

'really,rathod sir ki baat man gayee,great',both smiled and went to check the victims room.

Rathod reached the spot to see chotu talking with the local police.Rathod went in and saw the parents of the victim were crying bitterly.Introducing himself and with a few consoling words rathore made his way to the bedroom where the girls body was lying and liza was checking. The girl's name is Nita Verma.Reason of Death cocain overdose.Though signs of struggle are found it seems she was in a habit of taking drugs.He searched the table,the drawers and found rolling papers,some injections,anti depressant capsules.He signed and gave these to liza to keep as evidence and ordered her to shift the body for atopsy.

He went away to meet Nita's parents.He had calmed down a bit by then.Sakshi was attending them.Rathore sat at the opposite sofa and waited until they have composed themself to speak up.

'when did u find her ?' he asked

'In the morning.She had come late last night after dinner with her friends.We had heard her open the door with her keys.Then we went to sleep.In the morning when I went to wake her up for college I found her...'Mrs Verma again started crying,

'Did u knew,she was addicted??',he asked them.

'No,we didnt.Hume nehi pata tha wo drugs le rahi hai.Yes but ajkal uska behaiviour kafi change ho chuka tha.Wo akele hi reheti thi,zada kisise baat nehi karti thi.Hamesha phone pe ya study mein reheti thi.'Nita's mom said

'Apne usse baat karne ki koshish nehi ki?'

'haan maine pucha tha usse.usne baat ko tal diya.mujhe laga to tha ki wo kuch chupa rahi hai par phir mujhe laga college mein exams chal rahe hai is liye tension mein hai.ek bar usse phone pe kisi se baat karte hua suna tha. bohot kush thi.to mujhe laga shayad uski zindagi mein koi hai.aur mujhe batane se dar rahi hai.Meine socha bad mein thik se bait ke baat karungi.drug legi aisa meine kabhi nehi socha tha.Wo humse bohot pyar karti hai aur hum bhi phir wo aise drugs kiyu lagi?kash meine use pehele se rokh liya hota' ,Mrs Verma again started crying.

'uske frnds circle ke bare mein kuch pata hai?'

'nehi aisa kuch khas to nei.uska ek group tha.wo log hamesha ek sathe rehete the.ghumne jate the,studies mein help karte the,but 5-6 months pehele achanak kiya hua wo unsab se dur rehene lagi.upset reheti thi,but last 2 months wo bohot khush thi.phir last 3-4 din se thori upset lag rahi thi.pata nehi meri bachi ki zindagi mein kiya ho raha tha.'Mr Verma replied

'Ap chinta mat kijiye hum apke beti ke katil ko zaroor pakar lenge.we might need ur help later plz dnt leave this city.aur kuch bhi pata chale,yaa batana zaroori lage to plz call me.'

By then the whole team packed up and headed for the head quarters.
Everyone reached headquaters to find arjun sitting in his cabin and reading some files.All of them assemble in the conference room and the case discussion start.The fact board is full of evidences put up.Shree started the case briefing and informs arjun about everything that is known to them.Each one of them add their neccesary findings.

'Aisha did u search her bedroom??anything suspicious there??',arjun asked

'nothing sir.I checked her cupboard.normal clothes,accesories girly stuffs,nothing unusual.Yeah there were a few story books, some bday cards most probably from her friends,few bottles of perfume and a designer watch.nothing other than these.'

'Perfume bottles in the cupboard??Y not on the dressing table??'sakshi said confused,

'thats right.even I could not understand this.where as her other makeup stuffs were kept on the dressing table.even there was a few bottles of perfume.'aisha replied..

'have u got those bottles??get them and send them to liza for analysis' arjun ordered when aisha nodded her head in no.

'Shree get her call details,bank details,her parents call and card details.',shree nodded at rathore and went away to his work stations.

'Rathore we need to meet her friends,for that we need to go to her college',arjun said to rathore..

'Are u sure Arjun u can walk properly,yours wound havent completely healed.'rathore said sternly though arjun ignore his concern and nodded yes..
'fine take chotu with u',said a visible irritated rathore,'chotu tum chalo he will meet u at the parking in 10 minutes.Rawte we need to talk',arjun said moving out of the room towards his cabin..

Arjun rather confused went to sameer's cabin.Once inside he could sense there was something very tensed inside.Rathore was standing at his table,head bowed down thinking, how to start.Arjun stood in front of him hand folded across his chest waiting for him to start the conversation.

'commisioner sir ka phone aya tha.Interpol is taking sushma and the rest of the people who were caught into their custody and the case would be handled by them.They would start interogating her from tomorrow.Sir,has asked us to stop proceeding with that case and what all we predicted.'rathore stopped and looked at arjun who is fuming by now.

'kitni achi baat hai,jab pakarna hota hai,Interpol gayab ho jati hai,now that she is caught they are taking everything in their hand.Rathore we cannot leave like this.kuch bara hone wala hai aur wo log kuch samajke karte karte bohot der ho jaigi.ye itna simple nehi hai,kuch to zaroor chut raha hai rathore.'

'I know,chut to bohot kuch raha hai,aur sara jawab usi ke pas hai'rathore said rather lost then signed when realising arjun's presence, 'par hum abhi kuch nehi kar sakte.The case is not in our hand now.so abhi filhal is murder case pe concentrate karte hai' rathore said and left ,leaving behind a confused arjun.

'There is something which is telling me its not only the danger that is lurking but there is something else that is bothering you rathore.U will have to tell me this time.'.arjun thought and left for the parking lot where chotu was waiting for him in the car.
