~~ kya dil ne kaha...
sometimes we are so confused ourselves that we cannot decide what we want and what we like or dislike. virat was also in such a state... he didnt know whether he should he happy on seeing manvi already present there beside kasak or he should be upset thinking that when his child needed him the most, he wasnt around. virat looked at manvi and one look at her face told him, how much pain she was in... her swollen and tired eyes told him that she merely slept last night... the way she was holding kasak told him that now she wouldnt leave at any cost...
manvi was waiting for virat to say a word... she wanted to really hear from him the piece of his mind... she wanted to know whats going on in her husband's brain.
vikram and mitali were sometimes looking at manvi and sometimes at virat.
kasak on not finding manvi brush her hair, opened her eyes and saw manvi looking somewhere... rather at someone... kasak followed manvi's gaze and the moment she saw virat, she got up and hugged manvi.
kasak : mumma nahi jaegi... mumma hai na...?? dad... dad mumma ko bhej dege... kal bhi bheja tha... mumma...
kasak burst into tears and manvi felt miserable. but no one knew how virat felt... his daughter didnt acknowledge his presence the way she should... else she was scared that he would separate her again from her mother.
virat : kasak...
virat took a step towards kasak's bed.
kasak : nooo... mumma ke paas rehna hai...
virat stopped immediately and tried convincing kasak.
virat : kasak... kasak papa...
kasak : mujhe mumma paas rehna hai...
manvi : mumma kahin nahi jeagi kasak... aur agar jaegi, toh aap saath chaloge...
manvi looked straight into virat's eyes and announced her decision.
manvi : ab mumma kisiko kuch bhi kehne ka right nahi degi...
virat : kasak listen to dad baby...
kasak : no...
virat : kasu dad loves you jaan... i love you...
kasak : toh fir kyun bheja mumma ko...???
even if virat wanted to answer this innocent question of kasak, he couldnt. how will he ever be able to make kasak understand what actually happened...
vikram : main abhi aata hoon... tum log yahin rehna...
vikram left the room and after a minute mitali excused herself saying that she needs to go to the washroom.
now virman were alone and kasak was still sticking to manvi... she was scared that she would lose her mother again.
virat : i am sorry...
manvi suddenly looked up at virat thinking he apologised from her. but then she noticed that he was saying this to kasak and in response kasak nodded her head in negative.
virat : please...
kasak again nodded her head in negative.
virat : please kasu... please dad ko maaf kar do... i didnt mean to hurt you... i will give you anything you want...
kasak : anything...???
kasak separated herself from manvi and looked hopefully at virat.
virat : anything princess...
kasak : mumma...
virat : kasak... kuch aur... anything except this...
kasak : sirf mumma... mumma papa aur kasak...
manvi was hurt when virat again rejected her and one of her tear fell on kasak's hand.
kasak : dekha mumma crying... hum house chalte hai na dad... we three...
virat looked at manvi... he also wanted the same thing... he wanted his manvi... he wanted her love... he needed manvi but will it be right, to expect anything from manvi... he himself disowned her last night... so does he has a right to expect her to come back to them... come back to their little world...
kasak : bolo na...
manvi unable to control her emotions and afraid of being rejected by him, got up from the bed and ran out of the room. seeing manvi go away from them, broke virat's heart all over again... the pain he was trying to forget, again returned to him...
virat : wo nahi aana chahti...
virat looked down and hoped that kasak would not ask him further questions.
kasak : kyun...???
virat : i dont know...
kasak didnt say a word and after few seconds virat looked up at kasak. she was sitting on her knees and with her little finger, she was tapping it on her chin.
virat : kasak...
kasak : mujhe pta hai mumma kyun nahi aa rahi...
virat : kyun...??
kasak : kyunki mumma little baby laane gayi hai shayad...
virat : kya...???
kasak : mujhe mumma ne bola tha ke agar hum small baby laae toh...
virat : mumma ne kaha tha...??
manvi : nahi...
virat looked at manvi and a little hope that he had was also broken now.
kasak : mumma par...
manvi : kasu mumma ne kuch nahi kaha tha baby...
virat : rest karlo beta...
kasak : mumma kahin nahi jaegi na...???
virat & manvi : nahi...
they both looked at each other and immediately looked at kasak... their baby...
kasak : mumma...
manvi : hmm...
kasak : hum little baby laa sakte hain... ab main big girl hoon na...
manvi : hmm...
kasak : dad ab gussa nahi hai... hai na papa...??
virat : haan...
kasak : haan woww... dekha mumma...
manvi : kasak close your eyes right now... sleep...
kasak closed her eyes and soon she slept holding her parents' hands in her little ones.
manvi got up from the stool as it was becoming difficult for her to sit in that uncomfortable positon.
virat : suno...
manvi stood at her place and waited for virat to complete.
virat : manvi... manvi kal jo...
manvi : kal sach saamne aa gya... tumhara bhi aur mera bhi...
virat : afsoos ho raha hai...
manvi : nahi... aankhein khul gayi sahi time pe...
virat : aankhein toh meri khuli... tumhari toh -
manvi : excuse me please...
virat : let me complete manvi...
manvi : i dont want to talk... i am so done with it...
virat : done with it... wish i could also say that...
manvi : kal jo kaha uske baad kuch aur bhi baki hai mr. virat vadera...
virat : jo maine kaha wo tumne sunn liya... aur jo har pal mera dil kehta raha, woh tum nahi sunn paayi...
manvi : tum bhi toh nahi sunn paaye jo mera dil keh raha hai...
virat : kyun jhooth bola manvi...?? (holding her hand)
manvi : maine sach jhupaya tha... kabhi jhooth nahi kaha tha...
virat : kyun nahi banaya apna humraaz mujhe...??? vishwaas nahi tha... (why didnt you tell me manvi...??? why..?? didnt you trust me enough...???)
manvi : vishwaas tha toh hi toh sab keh diya... (i trusted you thats why told the truth...)
virat : kab kaha manvi...??? kab...??? (when...?? exactly when manvi...??)
manvi : forget it...
manvi was about to leave the room when virat pinned her to the door.
manvi : chodo...
virat : ab bolo... kab kaha tha sach tumne... (when did you say the truth...???)
manvi : virat chodo...
virat : kyun khela tumne mere dil se...??? kyun...??? (why did you play with my heart...?? why manvi..??)
manvi : maine tumhare saath khela...?? khel toh tum rahe ho humari zindagi se... kasak se... (i played with you...?? you are playing with our lives... with kasak n her emotions...)
manvi tried pushing virat away but he harshly pushed her back on the door.
virat : main khel raha hoon... jiski zindagi ek majaak banke reh gayi wo tumhare saath khel raha hai... (i am playing with you... my life in itself nothing less than a joke n i am playing with your life...)
manvi tried removing virat's hand from her shoulder.
manvi : you are hurting me virat...
virat : but you killed me brutally... you killed me manvi...
his nails digged into her skin, making her hiss in pain... she was already weak and now the stress was worsening the situation...
manvi : virat please... please chodo... (her head spinning)
virat : nahi chod sakta... nahi chod sakta tumhe... kyunki main... main tumse - (i cant... i cant leave you... because i -)
before virat could confess his love to her all over again, manvi fainted in his arms.
virat : manvi... manviii...
virat patted manvi's cheeks and stirred her...
virat : manvi... get up... manviii... doctorrr...
virat was hell scared seeing manvi's lifeless form in his hands... he couldnt lose her twice in last 24 hours... she cant leave him like that... she is his love... his hope... his angel...
hearing virat shout for doctor, mitali came in worriedly.
mitali : manvi...
virat : m.. manvi... open your eyes... you are scaring me manvi...
vikram brought the doctor and manvi was taken to a separate room.
virat was going inside the room when mitali came forward and asked virat to go to kasak. he felt as if the last few hours have drifted him miles away from his family... his wife and his daughter.
virat : main manvi ke paas...
mitali : please beta...
virat was now cursing his actions and words he uttered last night because of which suddenly he has no right on his wife...
virat stood in a corner while vikram noticed it. he knew this hurted virat soo much.
vikram : sab theek ho jaega...
virat : ab kuch theek nahi hoga...
vikram : manvi wapas aa jaegi...
virat : par wo mere liye nahi hoga... wo aayegi toh sirf kasak ke liye...
vikram : virat tune apne haathon se kal sab barbaad kar diya... ab tujhe hi sab theek karna hoga my son...
virat : dad i swear to god... bas ek ishara... ek ishara dede ke manvi bhi mujhse utna hi pyaar karti hai, jitna main usse... bas... bas fir main sab theek kar dunga... (just one sign... just one sign that manvi also loves me the way i love her and i will undo everything i did...)
vikram : pta nahi kyun... kyun tujhe aaj uske pyaar ka suboot chahie...??
virat knew the answer... he didnt want anything from her but her love... he wants her to come to him and tell him how much she loves him... he needs her love and thats all...
scene shifts
the doctor examines manvi and looks at mitali.
doctor : when did she eat last...???
mitali : yesterday...
doctor : how can you people be careless in such a delicate condition also...
mitali : there is some personal problem doctor...
doctor : this is no reason... first three months of pregnancy are very crucial for both the mother and the baby... take care of her...
mitali : ok doctor...
the doctor came out and virat stopped the doctor...
virat : doctor...
doctor : yes...
virat : how is my wife...??? woh theek hai na... kya hua usse...???
doctor : young man you should take care of your wife... not eating anything for such long hours in such a condition is not good...
virat : i know... we will take care...
doctor : good...
doctor went away but virat failed to notice something... he failed to notice which condition was the doctor referring to...
virat was about to go into the room when a nurse came and asked him to get some antibiotics for kasak.
vikram : give it to me...
virat : no... i will get it...
virat returned and came to kasak's room when again manvi was sitting beside kasak who was still sleeping.
virat gave the medicines to the nurse and silently left the room. he came back with a sandwich and an orange juice.
virat : manvi...
manvi : hmm
virat : please kuch khaa lo...
manvi : bhookh nahi hai...
virat : please... mujhe pta hai tumne kuch nahi khaya...
manvi : dekho -
virat : baad mein dekh lenge... pehle ye khaa lo
manvi : zabardasti mat karo mere saath...
virat : tumhare aage meri chali kab hai...
virat himself fed manvi with the sandwich and to which she didnt object. infact this little gesture of his, unknowingly brought a smile on her face. she could see love in his eyes and made him eat with her.
manvi : kya tum... kya tum mujhe maaf kar paoge...??
virat : kya tum mujhe maaf kar paogi...??
manvi : tum jo saja doge main chup chap seh lungi...
virat : aur jo saja mujhe mil rahi hai...??
manvi : apne hisse ka gham toh sab ko sehna hi padega...
virat : manvi kya... kya tumne mujhse shadi apne guilt me aake ki...??
manvi : kya...???
virat : kya tumne kabhi mujhse sache dil se pyaar kiya tha...??
manvi was left bewildered... whatever happened was their destiny but how in between all this choas, he can doubt her love for him... how can he think that she doesnt love him... how can he forget the time she spent with each other... how can he think she married him out of guilt.
virat : bolo manvi... ye bahut important ye humare liye...
manvi : ye important hai toh sirf tumhare shaq ke liye... aur main... main ab tumhare koi behuda sawaal ka jawaab nahi dungi... koi jawaab nahi dungi...
