Next morning they get ready for the leaving for the office..Shilpa Ji make Nupur eat a spoonfull of curd-sugar blessing her,"May you have a very good day..".She touched her feet replied,"Thanks Maa..."Taking her blessings she left with Mayank.On the reaching the building...Nupur asked Mayank,"Ab tumne mujhe yaha tak chod diya na..ab bas ye bata do ki kon se floor oer hain mein khud chali jaungi..."
Mayank:Okay Baba...!!! 5th floor mein hain office...Jaao..and yeah all the best "
Nupur:Thanks a lot Mayank...
Mayank:You're welcome..acha suno...
Nupur:Haan...
Mayank:Shaam ko jab free ho jaaogi to call me mein aa jaunga tumhe pick up kerne...
Nupur:Mayank iski...
Mayank:Zarurat hain...samjhi..ab mein tumhari baat maan raha hoon na you should also listen to me once...
Nupur:Okay Baba..!! As you say...
Mayank:Good ..!! Acha ab jaao ..you're getting late...

She entered the office..asking the receptionist about the manager ...she asked her sit down and wau for a while.After sometime she enterd his cabin for her interview...to Mr.Joshi...he welcome her as he knew she their Boss's wife but still feels proud that there are people in the world who took job of which they think they deserve rather in reference..after asking her couple of question regarding that post and also about her experiece in her previous job he selected her congratulating her,"Congratulatons Mrs.Sharma, you perfectly fit for this job...!!! You can start your work from today only..."
Nupur smiled fully to him and said,"Thank you Sir...!!!"
Mr.Joshi:Finally after a long time I am getting a good asisstant to work with..While she nodded her head...
Mr.Joshi:Okay I think we should resume your work I'll call peon he will show you your cabin...there are some files..please do complete them...I'll send someone to explain your point of work...
Nupur:Okay Sir...
Till than peon came and he led her to her cabin...She sat on her chair glancing her cabin thinking now finally she has a proper job...she feels very very happy..and instantly called Mayank...
Nupur:Hello Mayank...!! She said in very high excited tone that he instantly got it that she get the job and said,"Congratulations Nupur you got the job.."
Nupur:Tumhe kese pata..!!!"
Mayank:Tumhari excited voice is telling it all...
Nupur bites her lower lip and said,"Yeah..!! you are right...!!..."
Mayank:Acha to thik hain tum kaam karo...mein shaam ko aaunga tmhe lene...!!
Nupur:Okay...Bye...
Mayank:Bye...
She put the phone down..and resumed to her with a smile on her face...Mayank looked at his phone for a while smiling to himself imagining how Nupur ..must be looking with a bright smile on her face...a sudden urge came in his heart to see his wife..but he controls it...saying don't worry they she seems excited the smile would be lingering on her face till evening...Assuring himself he resume back to his work...have to complete it if he want to meet his wife at evening..the word "wife" always sends a unique sensation in his body specially in his heart and makes it flutter...
Nupur and Mayank were soon engross in their work..they certainly do have lots and lot of work that's why they didn't get single time to call each other though Nupur talked with Shilpa Ji and her mother but her mind didn't recalled that she should give a ring to her husband also..where on the other hand Mayank being a complete workholic didn't even bothered to pick up his phone to call someone , he only talks to few of his clients and business talks rest his phone was being there...only..!!At the kunch time when she was sitting with few of her collegues who were praising her that she look beautifull her husband is a gem she would be lucky to have him and blah blah...she recalled that she must call Mayank that did he had his lunch..she picked her phone and dialled his number..but stopped at the point of pressing calling button thinking,"He isn't a child that every time she should moving after him asking him has he had his lunch..or not...but than other part of her mind her said that he is her husband wonn't she show a this much care to him just call him being like a friend atleast..taking this opinion she called him ...after a ring or two Mayank picked up call not seeing the caller,"Hello..!!"
Nupur:Hello Mayank...
Mayank:Haan Nupur bolo koi kaam tha...
Nupur:Nahi...vo bas poochna tha ki tumne lunch ker liya...
Myank:Nhai abhi lunch time per karunga...
Nupur:Mayank...kaam mein itna bhi na doobo ki time ka pata na chale...zara apni watch dekho Mr.Husband it's lunch time...
Mayank glanced at his watch and realized that it's lunch time and said,"Oh..dhayan hi nahi raha abhi kerta hoon..tumne kiya..."
Nupur:Haan ker hi rahi hoon...
Mayank:Okay ker lo Bye...
Nupur:Bye...
She came back to her seats where she was having lunch with her collegues...they teased her,"Kya baat hain Nupur face per alag si smile...Lagta hain abhhi Mayank Sir se baat ker ke aa rahi hain..."
Another one said,"Na Mayank Sir se nahi apne patidev se..."
Nupur:Bas karo tum log bhi...
"Okay okat thik hain nahi tease kerte...chal jaldi lunch khatam kerte hain bahut kaam pada hain kerne ko..."..
They finished off their lunch and resume back to their work...evening came and still Nupur was engross in her work...her concentration was broken when she heard a knock on her cabin door seeing a manly figure entering her cabin realizing the person is none-other than her husband...she stood at her place and exclaimed in surprise,"Mayank tum yahan..!!
Mayank:Haan mein yahan ...ye mera office hain...aa nahi sakta ...
Nupur:Nahi nahi...aao aao...betho...
Mayank:Vese mein bethne ke liye nahi ayaa...
Nupur:To...
Mayank:Biwi sahiba zaraa time to dekhe I think it's time to go home...
Nupur glanced at the watch and said,"Ohh haan..mein aati hoon Boss..ko bata ker.."
Mayank:Sure..aao mein reception per tumhara wait ker raha hoon..."
Saying he moved out waiting for her reception where all the collegues were admiring him...and cursing why e need to look so smart and also to get married so early...Nupur came out signalling him to go..he went upto her moved out of the office taking her hand in his..crushing millions of heart who were seeing them...coming out form the office and entering into the lift he asked her,"So how was your day..."
Nupur:Oh..Mayank it was superb...
Mayank:Acha to hona hi tha...
Nupur:Acha aur ye tumhe kese pata...
Mayank:I can see Nupur that how much talent you have...
She smiled to him,going to open her mouth when he interrupted,"Don't dare to say thank you.."
Nupur:Nahi keh rahi hoon...
Mayank:Good...
Entering the lift he pressed the button they had reached on the middle of the two floors when abruptly it stopped...making Nupur to stumble on her steps and she instantly grabbed Mayank's hand and before they could get what had happen lights went off making her to increase her grip on his hand Iin fear he called her,"Nupur tum thik ho...".He took her hand and hold it tightly and asked her..but she didn't replied..,he could only see a outline figure of her and reached upto bringing her close he held her shoulder..and asked her,"Nupur kya hua...Darr lag raha hain..."...not answering anything she instantly hugged him in fear...at first he was quiet surprised...for the first time she hugged him he felt something ...his hands were in air not clutching her when he heard her sobbing sound realizing that she is crying...he instantly hugged her back carressing her hair and asking her in very concern tone,"Kya hua Nupur.."
Nupur,"Mayank mujhe bahut darr lag raha hain..." saying she hugged him more tightly..he carressed her hair and back and said,"Daro mat mein hoon na mein kuch kerta hoon.."
She said putting her face in his head,"Mayank...mujhe andhere se bahut darr lagta hain..."
Mayank:Tum daro mat mein hoon na ye andhera kuch nahi ker sakta okay...mujhe pakde raho mein kuch kerta hoon..
Hugging her took out his phone and called the security,"Hello security ye lift ko hua hua.."
"Sir vo power failure ki wajah se lift ruk gayi hain ..aap chinta na kare bas 15 min mein chal jaayegi..."
Mayank:Okay thik hain jaldi karo...
He put the call down and hugged Nupur back carressing her again as she still he can heard her sibbing and said,"Nupur ghabrao nahi...bas 15 minute mein lift chal jaayegi.."
Nupur:Mayank Please mujhe mat chodna...
Mayank:Nahi..mein tumhe chod ker kahin nahi jaaonga...
He hugged her tightly taking her fear off...as his heart winced seeing her sobbing and crying ...they were hugging each other..where he was trying to take her fear out...even they didn't left each other after the after the lift got started...they reached groundfloor when Mayank said to Nupur,"Nupur..."
Nupur:Hmm...
Mayank:Hum pahuch gaye...hain...chalo ghar chalte hain...
Nupur looked his face and realized that they had reached groundfloor and instantly left him lowering her gaze..feeling uneasy...and moved ehind him toeards the car.They sat in the car where she wiped her tears not sharing any words with each other..They had a reality blow that they shared a hug today so atleast both of them eed time to capture this...infront of Mayank's eyes were roaming two scenes one when she hugged her instantly and one when she looked at him with her fear striken eyes...she was so scared today...she was so scared of dark...'on the other hand Nupur was thinking that how can she instantly hugged Mayank out of fear...it's true she is scared of dark but does she was so much scared that out in blue she hugged him...the answer of this question gave her subconcious that she had that trust in Mayank and knows he will be there and that's why she hugged him when fear engulf in her heart...But what he'll be thinking of her...all the mind was in this only...they were silent not sharing any word..infact till home also they didn't shared any bit of it...after reaching home also..
Nupur made herself busy with chit-chatting Shilpa Ji and Suhaani not giving time for Mayank...while trying her hsrd out to avoid him..which he had sensed very well and was certainly not liking it...he need to talk to her and here she was ignoring her..after sometime he made his way to his room saying he need to work on presentation while Nupur was there sitting with Suhani and Shilpa Ji telling her experience today...while talking Shilpa asked something to which Nupur replied,"Maa..vesi Saari hain mere pass mein aapko dikhaati hoon.."
Shilpa Ji:Acha beta mein aur Soni mere kamre mein hain...wahan le aa...Nupur nodded her head went to her room to bring that Saari..as she entered he saw working on his laptop sitting on the armchair near the balcony...she ignored him as she din't have courage to face and him and went upto open her wardrobe taking her that Saari out...Mayank has already sensed that she entered room,all he was seeking for such opportunity only to talk to her in alone...he quietly stood up from his chair and walked to her...; grabbing the saari she turned to move when she felt that her hand has been caught..she turned around to see,Mayank had caught her hand...she found questions in his eyes and may know what are they but still avoid them..in a swift moment h pulled her towards him...making her to collapse on his chest..he caught her waist from his other hand protecting her from falling down with sudden pull...her eyes widen with his sudden act but soon she lowers them...
Mayank:Baat kya hain Nupur..
Nupur:Kuch bhi to nahi...
Mayank:Itna bhi bewkoof nahi hain...ki mein samjh nahi sakta..ki tum mujhe avoid ker rahi ho...
Nupur:Nahi Mayank mein kuch bhi nahi ler rahi hoon..
Mayank:Jhoot mat bolo mujhe Nupur...
Nupur:Mayank sach mein...
Mayank:Nahi Nupur sach batao...I want to know...
Nupur:Kesa sach...
Mayank:Yahi ki tum mujhe avoid kyu ker rahi ho...lift mein jo hua uski wajah se...She nodded her head in agreement...he cuped her face between his palms making her to look at him , he asked with concern in his voice,"Kya hua Nupur...Vishawas nahi tha mujh per..."
Nupur:Nahi Mayank aisa nahi hain agar tum per vishwas nahi hota to..to...
Mayank:To tum mujhe hug nahi kerti...Nupur meri taraf dekho...tumhe embarress hone ki koi zarurat nahi hain..tum darr rahi thi aur uss waqt tumhe meri zarurat thi...kyu aisa soch rahi ho ki tumne mujhe hug kerke galti ki...
Nupur:Galti nahi Mayank bass laga ki pata nahi tum kya soch rahe hoge mere baare mein...
Mayank:Mujhe infact acha laga..ki jab tum per darr ka sayaa ayaa tumne mujhe yaad kiya..mujhe hug kiya usse bachne ke liye..that means somewhere I had an importance in your life...mujhe acha laga ki meri friend meri biwi ko sabse pehle mein yaad ayaa...Nupur tum meri patni se pehle meri achi dost ho...aur mein tumhare baare mein bahut bahut ache kahyal rakhta hoon..fir tum ne aisa kyu socha....By the time tears forms in her eyes..he wiped them through his thumb and asked her not to cry...she wonder how one can be so understanding...else if anyone else would be at his place what impression he may have of her but Mayank he is different from others very different..she smiled to him and hugged him thanking him from being with him while he too hugged her back giving her this assurance...they shared a small friendly hug when she said breaking the hug,"Acha mein jaa rahi hoon mujhe Maa ko saari dikhaani thi.."
Mayank:Go and remember ..!!! I like your smile than your tears...She smiled at his comment and went from there , where Mayank too sat down on his chair back resuming his work but this time with a smile on his face...Slowly slowly things are changing between them and changing for good...
