mitali took manvi to her room and waited for her to say something but today it seemed impossible... she was in no condition to say a word... she was broken... her tears dried but the pain in her heart was something that would never be healed... her heart will reamin broken from now on... mitali left the room praying to god to give manvi the strength to go through this phase of her life...
manvi kept looking at the floor... all she could think about was kasak's face and her pleading eyes... nothing was important to her at that moment... all that mattered to her was kasak and today virat mercilessly snatched kasak from her.
scene shifts
after manvi left, kasak was sitting on the sofa and vikram went to his room and virat didnt had the power to come out and answer the questions kasak would ask him.
the poor baby was so alone and lonely for the first time ever. her tears werent stopping... she was still sobbing missing her mumma, manvi... she was still not ready to accept that manvi isnt her mother... her innocent heart wasnt accepting to have any sort of relationship with maya...
kasak slowly got up and stood in front of the lord krishna idol and folded her hands.
kasak : krishna please meri mumma ko bhej do... manvi hi meri mumma hai... maya nahi hai... please god... mumma ko bhej do... main mumma bina kaise rahungi... mumma kyun chali gayi...?? dad ne bhi nahi roka... dad mumma se gussa hai... meri mumma ne kuch bhi kia... pakka god... mujhe pta hai... mumma toh bahut acchi hai...
kasak went back to her room crying, no one was there to console that little baby who just got separated from her mother. kasak get into her bed and tried to get manvi's warmth from her teddy bear. she hugged her favourite teddy bear and missed manvi. she was unable to breathe without manvi... donno when she drfited off to sleep while crying.
scene shifts
virat's condition was unbearable. he wanted to kill himself. he just cannot live without manvi and her marrying him because of her guilt was hurting him like hell. virat was feeling as if his life ditched him. his eyes fell on the mangalsutr that was still lying on the floor. he hurriedly went and took it in his hands. that mangalsutr reminded him of manvi, their marriage, their love... he was thinking about the day when he tied that around her neck promising he would give her all the happiness in the world and protect her till his last breath... he thought how silly of him to not notice that that mangalsutr held no importance for manvi rather it was just a weight of her mistake... it just added to her gulit and nothing more. it broke virat even more... manvi stayed with him for her guit and not for love...
virat stood near the window trying to control himslef and stop his tears but it seemed nearly impossible for him... love hurted him in the worst way possible... his life betrayed him and played with the ugliest game. he turned around and looked at their photograph that was kept on the corner table. it hurted him even more thinking how the reality contrasted with the beautiful time captured in that photograph.
virat : kyun manvi...??? kyun...????
soon his attention drifted to the bed and it reminded him of the every moment, every minute, every day, every night he spent with her. he though it was love but for manvi it was her way of compensating him for the loss. virat felt disgusted when he thought that manvi was with him just forher gulit and in her guilt she gave him all the rights over her. those passionate moments were nothing for her, may be a compromise or something.
he took hold of one corner of the bedsheet and threw it on the floor followed by everything around, the cushions, flower vase, files, everything...his world crashed so did his hopes and dreams but his heart pained the moment he thought of kasak. his daughter was so used to manvi and her presence.
virat : manvi... what have you done...??? you played with me... thats okk... you spoiled your life... killed every ambition n dream of yours... but what you did to kasak is... is... manvi my daughter will die without you... you are the air she breathes... without you, i cannot wonder what will happen to my child... ab kya hoga kasak ka...??? wo kaise jeeyegi manvi...?? kaise...???
scene shifts
manvi : kasak... meri bacchi...
vanshika : manvi... sab theek ho jaega...
manvi : maa... kasu... maa maine kuch jaan ke nahi kia...
vanshika : manvi main jaanti hu beta... virat ko koi misunderstanding hui hai... i will talk to him...
manvi : maa please wapas aa jaeye... we need you maa...
vanshika : manvi... stop crying... you have to be strong D.I.L...
manvi : maa virat hates me...
vanshika : wo bahut pyaar karta hai tumse... naraaz hai bas...
manvi : maa... please come back... mera ghar toot gya maa...
vanshika : kuch nahi hua hai manvi... kuch nahi... main tumhara ghar nahi tootne dungi...
manvi : hmm...
vanshika : apna dhyaan rakho beta... you trust me...
manvi : haan maa...
vanshika : bas fir... take care of your health and i will try to return as soon as possible...
vanshika called manvi asking whats going around and manvi unable to control her emotions, told vanshika everything... she told her how she ran into maya and how she herself confessed the truth to virat and ... and how he reacted n threw her out of the house.
scene shifts
staying in the room which reminded him of nothing but manvi, was becoming difficult for virat, with every passing second. he got up and taking his car keys left the house. he wanted some time alone... some time alone to make him understand that from now on he will be alone... he will be a lonely man... he will have nothing... he was sure that kasak would now hate him... he separated her mother from her...
next morning
sun rose again inviting a new day but for manvi, virat n kasak time stopped the moment they were separated from each other.
manvi was still in bed, her back resting against the headboard and her other hand resting on her stomach. she was in no state to think about her little baby because all that was on her mind was kasak.
virat was still sitting on the bonnet of his car cursing his fate. he was still not able to believe that his married life ended like this... forget married life, his life ended like that...
vikram got up and went to see virat when found he wasnt there aand looking at the condition of the room told him how much broken his son was. vikram went to kasak's room and found her sleeping hugging her teddy and she was murmuring " mumma ". vikram felt utterly bad for kasak and sat beside her on the bed. he touched her forehead and instantly took it back. she was burning in fever. vikram check her temperature and hurrieddly took kasak to a hospital. he admitted kasak to the hospital and dialled virat's number but he didnt recieve it. after trying virat's number for 10 times, vikram called manvi.
manvi : hello...
vikram : manvi beta kasak...
manvi : kasak... kasak kya papaji...??
vikram : she is not well... bahut bhukhar hai... she is admitted in the hospital...
manvi : h..hos..hospital... which hospital...???
vikram : city hospital... manvi kasak needs you beta...
manvi : i am coming papaji... main aa rahi hoon...
scene shifts
manvi panicly got off the bed and was coming out of the room when she banged into mitali.
manvi : mom kasak...
mitali : for once, think about yourself and the baby growing inside you...
mahesh : baby...
mitali : jee woh... manvi.. manvi maa banne wale wali...
mahesh : waah... uss insaan ne tumko ghar se nikal diya aur -
manvi : papa... aap ye kya... how could you...??
mahesh : you are my daughter and i cant see you like that...
mitali : please mahesh... not now...
manvi : mujhe jaana hai... mere bacche ko meri jarurat hai... kasak needs me...
mahesh : she has her father manvi... mitali ask her to rest... apne hone wale bache ke liye atleast...
manvi : main apne bache ke liye jaa rahi hoon... pehle kasak hai aur fir ye (touching her tummy)
mitali : main bhi saath chalungi manvi...
mahesh : i will drop you both...
mahesh dropped manvi and mitali at the hospital and went back. he never thought that virat would hurt his daughter like that and that too in such a delicate situation. his daughter is pregnant with virat's child and virat threw her out of his life and his house. mahesh always thought that manvi would be more happy with rishabh and but after seeing manvi happy with virat, he accepted virat with open heart and agreed to manvi's decision of getting married to him...
scene shifts
manvi ran to the reception and made her way to kasak's room while mitali tried to stop manvi from running. manvi was about to fell when mitali held her hand and saved her. but it didnt seem to affect manvi a bit, she entered the room and ran to engulf kasak in her arms. she kissed her face all over and took her hands in hers.
vikram : thank god tum aa gyi...
manvi sat next to kasak and looked around to find virat.
manvi : papa ji virat...
vikram : pta nahi kahan chala gya... he is not picking up the call...
manvi felt angry on listening to this irresponsible behaviour of virat.
manvi : papaji what did the doctor say...???
vikram : she has high fever... bacche ke dimag pe asar hota hai beta... aur kal raat ke baad toh...
manvi : papaji main kasak ki kasam kha kar kehti hoon ke maine sacche dil se aap sabse pyaar karti hoon... kasak mera sab kuch hai... haan mujhse ek galti hui par uska matlab ye nahi ke mere saath ye sab ho...
vikram : shaadi mein do log hote hain par uss rishte mein hum hota hai main nahi... par jab hum se main hota hai na, toh rishte toot jaate hain... jab bhi dono mein se ek gusse mein ho na, toh dosre ko shaant ho jaana chahie...
manvi : ek biwi shaant ho jaegi... par ek maa kaise shaant rahegi... aap btaiye...
" mumma... "
kasak again murmured but this time manvi engulfed her in her arms and kissed her forehead.
manvi : haan kasu... mumma nahi hai baby... mumma yahin hai...
kasak : mumma.. come back mumma...
manvi : mumma yahin hai kasu... aapke paas... (literally in tears)
kasak slowly opened her eyes and looked at the face she was dying to see.
manvi : no crying mera baccha... mumma aa gyi hai na... (manvi wiped kasak's tears and kissed her swollen eyes)
kasak : mumma mujhe akele nahi rehna...
manvi : meri baby akeli nahi hai... mumma hai na jaanu...
kasak : mumma kahin nahi jaegi na...
manvi : nahi jaegi... ab nahi jaegi...
kasak : mumma neeni aa rahi hai... (hugging manvi more closely)
manvi : pehle mera baby ek apple khayega for neeni... okk..?? kuch bhi nahi khaya meri kasu ne...
manvi cut an apple for kasak and feeded kasak. mitali and vikram looked at the scene and smiled.
kasak : bas...
manvi : one more piece... last...
kasak : promise...??
manvi : promise...
manvi fed kasak the last piece and gave her the medicines. she was putting kasak to sleep when the door opened with a bang.
virat : kasak...
virat stopped there only when he saw manvi already present there.
