Recap :

The golden walls, the shrine "Kanha's Murti" and all the Pujaris..Everything seemed so peaceful and divine.
As soon as Jodha entered the temple with all her maids behind her, she could , for the first time, felt the free and divine atmosphere.

It appeared as if she came back to life after a long hard and dark terrorising dream or a death. She breathed the fragrant air.
She smiled and ran her hand around her tummy.

SHe moved towards the Kanha's murti, joined her hands for prayers and started her prayer.

Chapter 13 :

Jodha felt so ecstatic in that atmosphere. She had never felt so easy and calm after her marriage.
It was like pouring honey on a bitter wound after a long time. She had forgotten how to laugh, sleep, eat, smile etc.
But from the day when she knew she was going to be mother, whatever be the reason behind it, she had felt a change in herself.

From that day on, She wanted to regain back the "old" Jodha she used to be! SHe now wanted to give everything to her child!
How much be the pain she had gone through, but she decided not to let it have any effect on the child.

She came forward towards Kanha's Murti, decorated the Pooja thali and started singing the bhajan..Hey Murlidhar..Hey Damodar..Krishnamurari..Hey natnagar..

As she sang, whole of the temple and vicinity got filled up with a divine melodious voice.. Even the birds in air came all around the temple.
It looked like, the goddess herself was singing her heart out. They felt heavenly.

Jodha sang her heart out to Kanha! She prayed to him with full faith and genuinity!
As she completed her prayer..She bowed down to him, closed her eyes and started talking to him via telepathy..

Jodha - Kanha! Hum aapse kya kahein humein samajh nahi aata! Hum to achi khaasi zindagi jee rahe the! Lekin achanak humari zindagi mein ye toofan aa gaya!
Aur ab itni badi khushi! HUmein kuch samajh nahi aa raha Kanha! Aakhir aap humari kaisi pariksha le rahe hain? Humnein kabhi nahi socha tha ke humari shaadi aise
insaan se hogi..jo insaan kehlane ke layak hi nahi! Aakhir kaise vo ek Aurat ki izzat par war kar sakte hain? Aur ab jab humari kokh mein unka bacha hai to
achanak hi humse pyara vyavahar karne ki koshish! HUmnein itna khudgarz insaan pehle nahi dekha! Khair, hum bas aapko dhanyavad dena chahte hain..ke humare saath
jo bhi hua ho..lekin phir bhi aapne humein jeene ki ek vajah di..humara bacha..hum uske liye jeeyenge! Khush hokar jeeyenge!

As Jodha opened her eyes.. She started to get up and looked behind.. SHe saw all her maids and soldiers missing.. She freaked out!!

Already the temple was located in such a desolated place which almost resembled a barren Forest and to add to it, her maids and soldiers were missing!

She searched around for the Pujaris but even they were not there.. She went out of the temple and looked in vicinity!

What she saw stunned her.. She was flabbergasted! Some dacoits carried away the Pujaris and her maids with them..forcefully!
Whereas the soldiers were trying to fight the dacoits!

Jodha felt terrible! A sudden attack on them was hard to gulp down! She looked around for some weapon so that even she can fight with the dacoits!
But She was helpless! She couldn't find anything!

Suddenly she caught view of a soldier's sword lying at some distance.. She ran away to take it!
But soldiers said loudly - Mallika! Aap bhag jaiye yahan se! Hum sab in daakuon ko dekh lenge! Aap ghoda lekar vapas Mahal ki taraf jaiye!

JOdha could not understand what to do! The dacoits had outnumbered the soldiers and even her maids' lives were at stake!
She decided to fight the situation, rather than running away from it! SHe took up the sword and ran towards the dacoits which were taking away her maids.

Dacoits looked at eternally beautified Jodha! THeir eyes gleamed with lust!

Jodha was back to her "fierce and Warrior" Avatar! She could never let her personal feelings and life affect the people who were attached to her! That's why even after the feelings she was going through, she decided to fight back the situation!!

She fought with some dacoits bravely! She could manage to rescue the maids but she was slowly giving up!
She didnt want to stop fighting but her body was not obeying her. And to add to their hardships and miseries, Dacoits numbers were increasing!

Suddenly, A dacoit jumped to attack Jodha from her behind. Jodha could listen the flash of sword which was coming from her behind and as soon as she turned to battle it, A sword stopped it from reaching to Jodha! The attacker was cut into pieces by the same sword which stopped him!

Jodha was surprised and looked at that man and was hell shocked to see Jalal there! His rage was beyond heights! His red angered eyes were one of its kinds!
Jodha looked at him with astonishment asking in her mind "How is he here?"

Jalal without looking at her or without thinking of any argument..grabbed her hand and pulled her behind his back!
He had come up with his big army! He slashed all the dacoits within no seconds, protecting Jodha all the while!
Jodha was already too shocked but she didn't want to create any scene now, in this moment of time atleast!

Soon, all the dacoits were killed and Jodha and her maids were safe and sound!

I soo loved this brave,courageous Jo fighting the dacoits! Jalal..what an entry,I could imagine him with that anger in his eyes and literally killing them all
