Can anyone tell me who that Gujarati lady, the one who takes pictures of Karan and Nandini hugging in today's episode, is? I am assuming she is Gujarati because her accent sounds very different.

I did not see Kyunki for couple of months, so don't know who she is or how she is related to Shantiniketan.

Also, what is her (real life) name? And is she really Gujarati?

oh thats daksha chachi... she is gayatri chachi's jethani.... she is mihir's aunt
her real name is ketki dave
yeah she is gujju
she has that accent right from beginning of this serial
she is funny though

Thank you Bhaveshavani. Second question (and I am sorry) but who is Gayatri? I think I even missed her entry.

I know other regulars, like Mohini, Trupti, Tanya, Nandini, Bhoomi, etc. Just that didn't see these new people few months ago.

^^ You covered it all, bhaveshavani! Gayatri , Daksha and Tulsi were all the bahus of the house. They dislike Tulsi because she has always been the fav. bahu of Baa. That's what I think, I'm not too sure because I haven't watched it before the last leap. Hope that helps though.

So it seems that Gayatri must be that lady with that big Bindi on her forehead. The one who dances with Tulsi in the opening song of the serial in every episode.

I mean the one with big Bindi and large eyes. Am I right?

Thanks Singh911. But the same lady who usually wears the big bindi (as in huge round on forehead) in this and other Ekta serials?

I am sorry, but when I watch these serials, I rarely pay attention to characters who don't appear often or are given very short roles.
