confusion.. plz help some1

ok.. um i havnt seen the whole show.. but kno the overall story.. i think.. um so dev thinks that if he marry's kaajal then the thing wud go on her and she wud die.. so then dev's mother was saying that if kaajal marries dev then the thing(sry dont kno wat its called) wud go away.. and he wud safe... so which one is tru? did ameesha lie to dev so that he wudnt be wit kaajal? and wats the reason behind ameesha's hatred? is she just one of the psycho characters?

well.. the mahadosh is true..
dev has it in his kundali.. and he is gonna die.. but there is only one way to save him.. and that is.. him ggetting married to someone who truely loves him .. more than herself.. and that is KAAJJAL...
BUT.. if they get married.. dev's life will be saved but kaajjal will take the dosh upon herself and her life will be in danger...

reason why ameesha hates dev.. no one knows yet.. they havent shown it only...
