VERY IMP - The 'hacking' story

There's a member on this forum who has hacked my inbox and may do the same to all of yours. I am reporting this member to the mods. Request all of you to change your IF passwords ASAP.

Sorry.But I have informed vijay about you spreading baseles panic on the forum.

I was informing you about a flaw in PM system, which can make an unread PM look read WITHOUT accessing the persons inbox visrom.
If informing flaws is called haacking, sorry for your ignorance.

I had a long chat with Mini. She says that she has only detected a flaw which allows her to change PMs in our inbox which she has sent us from unread to read without actually opening our inbox.



The issue became serious because when I asked her directly if she had hacked my inbox, she sent me 2 replies which were indirect. this led me to believe that she entered my inbox.


I have reported the flaw to Vijay and so has Mini. Hope he solves this problem.

Hey friends,

Mini didnt attempt to hack anyones inbox. It was never a security issue but technical glitch.This glitch was used to make members believe someone had access to their inbox which was not the case. It has been fixed by admin now so nothing to worry about.

Thanks to Visrom for bringing it to our attention and Mini for detecting the glitch.
