Dear Members,

It has come to to the KS Dev Team's notice that many of the members do indeed have issues with making stickies of personal posts, so these posts have been taken down.

To ensure a fair representation of views of all groups of members, we had tried to make such posts sticky over the past few months, for the sheer purpose of involving members regarding their thoughts related to the various issues. So while we had stickies related to Redemption of JW, we also had stickies regarding the Kreative Issues that Kekta's Kreative Teams could definitely use. And all these were supported by the Dev Team in order to ensure member participation, thats what we can assure you. Because members' participation in the KS Forum is at an all time low, as per the quarterly reviews carried out by the GMs.

As for the 'Boycott' post, we had like to point it out that though it stressed on the word 'Boycott', it was not a commandment definitely. We are all free individuals with different ideas, so we definitely dont have to follow the Bandwagon effect. A lot of members have indeed put in their views regarding the issues disussed therein, just as in other posts, though they wholly do not agree to the boycott issue, and it is so understandable. We appreciate the stands taken by all members individually and so we have come to a decision that from now onwards, no posts from Members will be converted into stickies, unless and until they are Update Posts or DOTW posts or GOTW posts.

All inconveniences are deeply regretted.

I understand your point of view, I don't have a problem with it being a sticky as long as some opposite views are also represented as stickies...

It is a good thing that you are trying to involve all the members into healthy debates..

I am glad you took those down because people with equal good posts might be offended as to why theres aren't up there. I never make posts worth making stickies but a lot of other people do and its hard to chose who's gets sticked and who's doesn't.

the topics that always stay on the first page, unless the are no longer stickys. It doesn't matter how many posts they get.

Well thanks for your comments. They are highly appreciated.

i dont know whether this is a good step but yes this way, there will surely be less people getting upset, especially over petty issues.

and now that the DOTW is going to start i think we can include the redemption, boycott etc in them!

I understand where you coming from but if majority of the people agreed then it should stay sticky...

I am not boycotting but if most of the forum agree on one view there should be no problem with that post being sticky i did not think it was offensive or anything to get upset about since its strong view of many people..it does not repersent everyone but that does not stop people from commenting on there 😕 i dont think rani said no comments off people who do not agree...

Theres nothing at all there to get offended or upset about rani never claimed it was everyones view did she either.

may be i am taking side of my friends who always come out with meaningful and practical posts..(and not only that, but they are useful too as lurkers do notice them)

so please forgive my biased views (anyways i dont give **** if you dont)

i do not see any problems why good posts cant and shouldnt be made sticky.
its a way to enhance the member participation which i do not think why should create any problems with individual members.

its not the promotion of members that write posts, but its the content of it.
if the content is right and meaningful why shouldnt it be made sticky??? thats the way more and more people can read it and express their opinions as well and by opinions i mean positive as well as negative...a good post fluctuating on later pages is not good either.

as far as KS DEV Team is concerned, our viewbies and mods always make sure that nothing inappropriate is posted let alone be made sticky..

its injustice to all those authors who write thoughfully and with atmost concern about the forum and serial that we all (used to) adore....

sangs, i know your dilemma but as far as my opinion is concerned(if at all it matters) i will miss those posts..
