Laptop or Desktop?

Which one do you prefer, a laptop or a desktop?

I prefer a "desktop"

its comfy, more powerful (in some cases)...they r generally much cheaper. That's the plus side!

I prefer the labtop. It is comfortableto work with (im sitting on my bed
typing this right now), and is portable, and can be taken anywhere. I feel
that the labtop works just as powerful as the desktop does. Another thing
that I like about the labtop, is that you can get internet practically
anywhere, if you have a connection; internet on a desktop doesnt work
until you plug it in. Also, if your labtop gets wrecked, by any chance, it
will be really easy to take it in for repair, but for the desktop, even though
you will only have to take the tower, it is really large, and has a shape that
is harder to carry than the labtop, which is thin and light. The main
reason of my choosing the labtop is because it is portable (and the
desktop you will have to keep in the same place, unless you shift the
whole desk) and can go anywhere- from your living room, to your
bedroom, to a friends house, to the repair shop, to the other side of the
world.

laptop ,

a laptop that can do every thing that a desktop can do , these daysthere are such laptops available , they cost a little more but are a long way to go in comfort and compactness .

laptop def i need to take it with me when i go places so dont fancy carrying a desktop.

LapTop was the Best when compared to desktop in all ways , nowadays the config was excellent in laptop than desktops, and laptop has the longer battery backup, you can work up to (min)2hrs with that battery backup,
whereas u can't do that in desktop unless with a powerful invertor,
so laptop was GREAT in all Ways and

definitely laptop .. as it is more comfortable .. and u can carry the same anywhere ....

I prefer both,laptop & desktop...

advantages:
laptop---- Compact,Portable & Access to wireless network
desktop---Less expensive,Larger Screen, Real keyboard and mouse, Easier to upgrade

at the same time disadvantages:
laptop--Costs more for less technology,High maintenance cost & Security risk
desktop---Not easy to take home for breaks & Takes up more space in the room
