Next day...

All are busy with the rest of the rituals...

They kept the couple busy all day...

Geet didn't even have a berak for her afternoon nap...

So many guests around and Meera was with her always...

Maan escaped and went out for a while...

Geet felt very scared when he left her...but Meera was so caring like an elder sister...

She never left Geet alone...this is a new place and she is all alone, without her family...

Geet is very angry with Maan, he can't even spare a day for Geet...

Geet was right...Maan didn't bother her much...

They had a small reception at a star hotel for business friends at Delhi...

He had no access to his room, and his own bride...

How he longed to be with her all day, all alone with her, not with all these haddis(kabab mein haddi)...

Poor Maan apne hi ghar pe Maan ko mehmaan banna pada...

He just had the guest room while Geet occupied his room completely with all her parlour girls...

That night, Geet came home early with Meera while Vijay and Maan had to stay back for a while...

Meera was too tired and she left for her room...

Geet went to her room...

She was also tired...she saw a cover on the bed...

It's a gift from Maan...

Maan had gone out just to buy her a gift...

Maan's first gift...Geet is so happy and excited...

She hurriedly opened the cover and saw a beautiful night suit...

Just perfect for that night...

Almost revealing and open, just a rope to hold it together...

Soon she fell asleep...

He didn't want to disturb her and went to the washroom without making any noise...

Geet wakes up and she finds Maan in the washroom...

Maan comes out and Geet closes her eyes and pretends to be sleeping...

Maan comes and lay beside her...

He too pretends to fall asleep...

How could he sleep?

Geet wondered, for she can't sleep...

She is reminded of his words last night...

Maan: koi gift dena hi nahi chahatha toh unsse toh aaise hi karna padtha

Geet: hare, ye bhi koi gift hai? aapko kya laga mein isse kush hoon?

Geet looks at her dress...

Maan: what? Tumme pasand nahi aaya

Geet: ye kya hai? mein isse kissi ko kaise pehenkke dikhaoon ki ye aapne mujhe pehle gift kiya hai?

Maan: hare, tum toh sirf mere ho, aur ye bhi mere liye hai, bahut khaas

Geet: issko pehenne se achcha hotha mein kuch pehenthi hi nahi

Maan: woh toh aur behthar hai, aaj raat na tum woh try karo

Geet: kya? Aap hamesha isske barein mein hi sochthe?

Maan: Geet, shadhi ke dusre din koi apne biwi ke saath akhele hotha toh kuch aur baat usske dimag mein aatha hi kaise?

Geet: aap mere gift ke barein mein jaanna nahi chahathe?

Maan: tum hi meri gift ho

Geet: hare, pehle mere baat ko suno

Maan: sun raha hoon, bas tum bolthi jao, mein apna kaam karthe hi sunloonga

Geet: Maan, haath mat lagao, mein kuch zaroori baat karna chahathi hoon

Maan: hare mujhe patha hai, mujhe na teri koi bhi gift nahi chahiye

Geet: what? Aap kehna kya chahathe ho Mr.MSK?

Maan: let me guess, last time vivekananada, sorry narendra, this time, haan, tagore, haan Geet, tum mujhe tagore ki " Geetanjali" present karna chahthi ho, right?

Maan: hare, meinne socha ki isse kahin safe rakhtha hoon, aur bhool hi gaya

Geet: it would have been better if you kept it in your bank locker, much safer, you know?

Maan: Geeet, tumme kitne books chahiye, mein lekhe aatha hoon, par tum mujhe ussko padne ko force nahi kar sakthi, ye mujhse nahi hoga

Geet: haan haan, patha hai

Maan: toh tum ab mujhe kya gift karogi?

Maan teases her...issko to iss books ke alawa kuch bhi patha nahi hotha...

Geet: mein na? aapko ek bachcha gift karna chahathi hoon, apka apna bachcha, hummara apna parivaar, haina?

Maan: iss ke liye toh mujhe hi mehnat karna padega

Geet: kya?

Maan: aasie hi bolthi raho toh mera gift mujhe jaldhi kaise milega?

Geet: Maaan

Mahiii...

So, this battle(marriage) seems to be not so scary as they both thought,

For here your opponent is also your companion...

And this battle is not fought to decide the winner, it's just fought to stay in the field...

As long as you know your opponent and are ready to forgive their little mistakes this battle field can turn into a lovely playground...where you can have so much fun ...and lovely memories, sweet, bitter and all colors of life...when you have a loving and caring partner this journey is fun...
