My Frusturated Rant!

As aperture, Meg and many others rightly said, we have fought hard for
our rights and KS's/Kekta's depiction of the position of women in her
serials is deplorable. As educated women most of us are apalled at the
way Kekta has chosen to show marriage, relationships and lately,
widowhood.

It is shameful to think that as a women herself she is consenting to
showing all that "a women is a women's worst enemy. A woman's role as
a mother has repeatedly been questioned (Massi's behaviour towards Jai
and Pia's treatment of her unborn children); her role as a sister has been
abused too (Pia's behaviour, Jigyasa's greedy ways etc); as a sister-in-law
too, a women has been shown in a bad light (Pia, Jigyasa) etc. In short,
women have been shown in an extrememly bad light in all of Kekta's
serials. And that too by a women herself! She suggests that a women is
either a saint or a complete 🤬 .

Like someone mentioned before, the masses who see these serials are
also influenced by the atrocious acts shown (I have seen a real life
example btw,). See the effects of the misuse of a far reaching medium
like television.

I am so, so irritated now! Join in and rant here.

u know ...i totally agree wid u...in every ekta serial...da main villain or vamp is a women...how can she portray women that way....we shud fight 4 our rights....as much as most of her serials r abt women she really is degradin the way women is seen in 2day's society....motherhood is an amzin thing 4 women but ekta is makin a mockery of it by havin all sisters pregnant at same time....when is this atrocity gonna end?

i wish the female or male actors over looking their short term benifits from the show should take a firm stand against this destructive creativity... the channels too keep a track of check lists of the episodes and make sure they meet the requirements... if all channels do it probably ekta has to go and sit with nuts or popcorn at home and watch others shows very soon... there is not a single of her which come under the decent category...

I know! I've always wished for a sister Kekta makes a mockery of this

I totally agree with your last statement!
