Thanks for the extra ZOOM focus on Sharifuddin today CVs. I had requested this in my review yesterday when the precap plays out. Geedad ke chehre pe barah baja diye Jodha baaghin ne roke! Jalal has such foresight and judgement that no one in Mughal sultanat can come even close to understanding it. All the near ones are furious at Jalal for giving up the fort. They have no idea he has a creepy plan to get it back almost immediately. Its only our Jodha who now understands Jalal more than any of his near ones. BTW, another person who understands this is MP. No wonder Jalal is so impressed with the Raajvanshi and their brains! I was shocked when I heard Jalal say that he is willing to give away his fort. I was even more shocked when I saw Jodha not applauding Shenshah for giving up his fort and instead questioning him about his actual intentions. Jalal immediately understood that Jodha had come to ask him THE important question and Jodha understood that Jalal is not giving away the fort just for Sukanya's wedding. Dil na sahi, ek doosre ki soch samajhne lage hai Akdha. (Impressed)
I did not want Jalal to give away the fort as it was not proved that he or his people were at fault. Plus, a king does not make emotional decisions. It started so well when Jalal respectfully addresses everyone and reminds them again that he did not promise the fort. He promised RB that he would attend his daughter's wedding and for that reason he is willing to give away the fort. Then, we find out that he showed the DP king a candy to get him to oblige for the wedding so that he can snatch the candy back later. I did not like this at all, wished Jalal had another way of resolving the issue. I agree that Jalal feels cheated by the DP king, if that is the case then he stooped as low as the DP king by playing an unfair game. Jalal does not even wait for a day to capture the fort back, he sends away the troops immediately. Jalal acts like a prefect gentleman in front of everyone while giving away the fort, his head though is already plotting ways to get it back - how dubious? I wonder if this will cause huge trust issues among Raajvanshi including Jodha.
After a long time we see a clever Jodha again. I feel MA's overconfidence will kill her one day for sure. She constantly goes to rub her victory and point Jodha's defeat. She is only making Jodha understand her better. Imagine how many more victories MA could have achieved if Jodha had no idea about MA's evil side. MA leaves many tips to Jodha on what she is doing wrong and how her actions are alienating her from Jalal. MA laughs while leaving and Jodha slowly starts smiling to herself. She received the same advice from three people (BB, MA and sukanya) about not fighting with Jalal and getting him on her side. She decides to use the advice with loads of glycerine. She uses the chanakya neeti of winning by softness rather than harshness. When she went to see Jalal and gang, I don't think she expected Jalal to give away the fort. Nor did she want to melt Jalal's heart. Her intentions were to tell MA, makkaruddin and Adham that you all lost as they did not succeed in alienating her from Jalal. She also hoped that this would influence Jalal to find a middle way. She apologizes to everyone, hugs MA (who almost got a heart attack and so did Jalal) to thank her for the great advise. Jalal's ego is huge, if he gets something from Jodha than he has to give it back. What an insight Jodha? She realizes that Shenshah's tactic is 'bhale ke saath bhala aur bure ke saath bura' and decides to do some bhalai. In return she gets loads of bhalai from Jalal.
MA and Jodha scene 2 was very significant. Jodha gives 3 reasons on how she influenced Shenshah. I loved her second reason that she made Shenshah take her side by standing on his side. This one is going to keep MA awake for many nights. MA and specially Ruqu so far have not been worried about Jodha's influence on Shenshah because she is always fighting with him. I wonder what Ruqu will feel when she finds out about Jodha's changed strategy with Jalal. MA must be hitting head on a wall for unknowingly giving Jodha ideas on how to influence Jalal. Hope she doesn't learn from this mistake and keeps giving Jodha advices on how to get Jalal on her side. Jodha dear, this advice on using soft tactics with Jalal is a keeper. Infact I feel it is a keeper for every wife. At times its best to use the chanakya neeti when everything else fails.
Precap: Dadi feels Jodha's chaturai saved Sukanya's wedding, well it did. But, aapke jawaisa aur bhi chatur hai! You want Jodha to thank him for being chatur?? I wonder what the bhagin will do to Jalal when she finds out that the fort is back with Jalal. Bhashan # infinity coming up!!
