Veet Celebration of Beauty Awards?

Did anyone watch them on Hum Tv? Not sure if there's already been a topic made on this, so I'm making a new one 😆. I think this awards show came on last month but I just saw it today. I'm not one to preach people on what they should and should not wear but I was totally shocked at the clothes that were worn at this awards show. Honestly I don't think even one of the women present there was wearing an outfit that would be considered appropriate for Pakistani television.

So my question is this - since when did "beauty" become synonymous with exposing yourself? Everyone at the show kept talking about how they were trying to promote the inner beauty of women but I personally couldn't see any beauty in the cheap outfits those celebrities were wearing. Do these awards shows really promote Pakistani culture? Aaminah Sheikh at one point in the show said that these awards were helping to "advance" Pakistani women. Is this kind of exposure really advancement?

PS - HOW HOW HOW did HUMAIMA MALIK win beauty of the year?!

i watched them...it was quite disappointing but i guess thats something they'r proud of...
and what on earth was Sana wearing Lol
