Hey guys. I am not trying to be pessimistic here, but I have some serious doubts regarding the reunion track. We have all seen the promos and read the infamous interview of Gul Khan, but some things are a bit wayward here. For example - Gul said that the whole track was to highlight the brother's conflict - however, nothing till now has suggested an upcoming battle of the duo. Similarly, there has to be a reason for the contract to be of three months - if they are reunited so fast (no, I know that the track has been dragged for too long already!) there would be no point of this already horrendous track. Neither has Zoya discovered her father's secret, nor has Ayaan actually fallen for Ms. Farooqui. So what was actually the point behind this pointless track?
I, like almost everyone in the forum, am waiting for the reunion! But I have a feeling that this is going to be temporary. Especially since Gul said in an interview that she won't get AsYa married because she's scared that the TRPs are going to fall after that - although what gives her the idea that TRPs are going to be high with this track is anybody's guess. She added that if they get married, it shall be the end of the story.
Well I'm hoping that Mohabbat ki Jeet is forever, but only time shall tell. I am guessing that Gul is trying to buy some time and the audience's viewership, before some other problem falls over our beloved. (Read : Ayaan! lol) But as long as AsYa is endgame, I shall be fine!
