For me, there was one stand out scene in today's episode- the look in Ayaan's eyes when Zoya served him juice at the dining table.
It was more than a friendly thank you
So far, I have harped on the sibling bond between Zoya and Ayaan but today, for the first time I felt, Ayaan is actually falling for Zoya
He will probably realize it once Zoya leaves.
I doubt he will pursue her but Asad knows his brother well. Will he be able to read this in Ayaan's eyes? Will he then start resenting Ayaan? Will this set up the foundation for that elusive brother's clash?
A number of you might disagree with me but I feel, this track was established in the second episode itself. Also, Ayaan is Shireen's son and will never be able to get the love of his life.
Also, Asad and Ayaan's phone convo about 'badalti pasand' might come into play.
What does he feel for Humeira?
Is it empathy? Affection? That he has mistaken for that all encompassing love?
Of course Humeira will suffer but like Razia, she will be the second choice of her husband (eventually Ayaan)
For me, as long as Asya are together and committed to each other, I could care less :)
