Saiyaara Male lead is overrated!!!
ONE MONTH TIME 3.8
Note: Heelllooo People!!!
Oh yes! My Lame note is back in this update!
So firstly this one is dedicated to-- My baby! Summi <3 <3
Baby, Did I ever tell you that London had always been my dream destination for reasons more than one. Its like someday I'm destined to be there. And even as I say this today, with my life leading to dead-end from every direction, I still have this indescribable distant connect, I do feel it. And after you came into my life, into my little dreamy imaginative wold, opening the very first doors of my heart to long-distance emotional connects, I think I now have better reasons to just be there. And so, this one is specially for you, as I recall all our late-night chats, amidst our shuffled up sleep and awake schedules, our silly drooling blabber, I'd like to just let you know, that I loved you yesterday, love you today and will love you always! <3 <3
***
Alright, so, dear Entwinies!! I've a small note put up in Page 119, I'd like everyone to please go ahead and read it.
And all I'd like to say about the update is, something definitely have started, the journey to the end has begun, no, no its not nearing, but nevertheless it has begun, and I'd really appreciate just a little more patience; although I'm immensely thankful to the patience you all have shown so far..! Love you all, Thank you so much for everything! <3

Chapter-24:
2 Weeks Later,
December-Winter,
London.
"I'm in love with you, since so long now Khushi--------"
"Marry me, please--------"
"Everything about you is my own very property, is there any rule as such?"
"------------- Running away has been your favorite game, isn't it? Its time you give a permanent rest to your legs baby..."
A strong push on her back, the panic she experienced while travelling in air from that very tall building, the ridiculously fair, perfectly shaved innocent looking face which in real was far from innocent, the evil look in those very small almost mono-lid eye set teaming with all the above words from that very flat toned voice, everything floated in her mind, along with the haunting images of her past, as she continued to struggle to brush them off her deep slumber.
Yet again, she felt two strong hands clutching at her waist and pushing her down from that tall building as the view of the depth from where she was standing, suddenly started approaching closer to her vision...
She jerked into a sitting position, even as her breathing became heavy, her fore-head showing profuse perspiration, before she felt two strong arms circling her shoulders, one of which started to rock her back in slow continuous movements.
"It's alright, it's okay, Khushi, its fine----"
Her breathing started to slow down just as she recognized the familiar husky yet soothing voice, and she shifted her eyes to her side in search of the familiar honey orbs.
"A...A...Arnav..."
"Shhh, I'm right here-----" He said coming into her view and finally, just as their eyes met into the briefest imprisonment, the familiar secure feeling started resuming into her stance and she found herself instantly relaxed. Releasing one last sigh of relief, she smiled looking up to meet his concerned gaze, her eyes pouring out warmth as her head started dropping to her side aiming the crook of his neck, just in time for him to be seated beside her on the bed, gathering her inside his arms.
She closed her eyes, as soon as the warmth of his skin engulfed her even as her one hand out of habit clutched the rim of his t-shirt------- she instantly felt the now familiar tranquility settling in, and she sighed yet again as he continued to caress the messed up strands of her hair.
This has been her only daily routine since the time she had landed in the city of London. The night mares have resumed after that brief encounter with Akash Singhania, and yet again she didn't know how to deal with them. Her past started shadowing her yet again, and in a way she was glad that she was able to run away far from it, yet again. She has done this before, while in Mumbai a few years ago, but couldn't go far away before it came haunting onto her; she did this yet again, after recovering from the incident on the terrace, she have even managed to destroy the hospital records about her recovery quite oblivious to both Angad and his wife and had managed to reconstruct the pieces of her life yet again.
She couldn't get herself to imagine what would have happened, if she were to be discovered alive yet again. This time around, she isn't sure if she would be able to fight her demons, all alone. She found herself extremely relieved to have made the decision to come along with Arnav. To say he had become her only hope to hang onto, would still be an understatement.
Having someone to say something as simple as It's alright after waking up from her night-mares is something she hasn't realized, she had been longing since so long.
It was only when she started experiencing someone's being there, that she realized how much she longed that mere feeling...
It was only when she started relying on someone for the serenity she often gives herself that she realized how much more of it all, she had always wanted...
And the fact that, that someone was Arnav and the fact that he was trying, with such honesty only surfaced her long forbidden desires and hopes. It was irony, really, to find solace looking at those very brown molten orbs, which had once haunted her along with her demons for good part of her recovery time. But it happened, and she no longer wanted to turn around to a certain not-so-good memory of a certain unplanned, uncontrollable event.
Not after she heard him confess, he wouldn't have allowed anyone else to do that to her; & definitely not after he turned around for once intending to protect her. The sudden realization of being wanted, being important to someone and that she mattered enough to change the course of decisions, only added to her mounting hopes.
Because after all there definitely was a normal girl, somewhere deep down inside her, like Sheethal has termed...
And all that the normal girl ever wanted was to live and to hope.
But the much saner part of her or rather the much perceptive part, even agreed with her mind, for once. And for once, she wanted to hope that she would not be judged by her past. For once, she wanted to open up to him and let him in into the real her and for once, she wanted to hope that may be she did have a chance to normalcy.
Yet, despite all her encouraging thoughts, she found herself, scared; scared, if yet again it would all prove to be a dream which might eventually fall apart one day. And she couldn't help but think, that one day would be when she would confess her past to him. & so she was yet again, stuck in tangled web of thoughts but amidst all these, one thought was prominent to her instinct-----
To live in the moment and to make the most of it.

"You don't really have temperature today-------" she heard him say just as she felt his hand over her forehead. She just snuggled into his arms before lifting her head to look into his eyes. "Feeling better?" he asked meeting her eyes that only poured out warmth, her hazels twinkling with sparks of a genuine smile.
She just nodded and rested her head back over his shoulder. "I feel like I'm locked up-------"
He chuckled a little removing the strands of hair away from the side of her face. "That's because you haven't really been out of this room, since two weeks, oh wait! Did you realize, you are now in different country, there is no beach, waves, sea, sun-------ouch!" his teasing ended with a yelp as he felt the soft slapping on his chest, her tender hands not really causing any harm much to her disappointment.
"You want to get out of this room?" he asked chuckling.
"Yes, please and I'm starving!"
"Of course all that you had was tons of juices and heaps of fruits, you would only be starving-----" he said getting up from the bed, calling out to his cook even as her eyes went wide, looking at him pointedly.
"Very funny! I'm still starving as in for good food, like full on meal!" she spoke just when a tall, white English man dressed in a cooking apron, approached at the door of the room.
"Right, Steve could you please make something------"
"A full meal!" she interrupted his order, making the two men in the room look at her curiously.
"A full meal" Arnav repeated while Steve nodded turning around to walk out.
"Indian meal!" They heard Khushi say and Arnav just nodded, flipping his head as in asking his cook to just take the order and leave. Once they were alone, he smiled turning around, leaning onto the door frame and locked his gaze with her. "Do you plan to freshen up before you eat?"
"Yes, I do"
He nodded and turned around to leave only to be stopped by her again."Arnav?"
"Yes?"
"I thought you said you had some important business deal for which you had to come down here?"
"So?"
"Uh, you are here with me all the time, I mean are you even getting time to work?"
He laughed out loud meeting her innocent eyes. "It so happened Ms.Gajini, that you have been sleeping like baby kumakarn since the past two weeks, almost for 15-16 hours a day. First it was jet-lag and then sickness due to sudden change in climate, it wasn't that hard to figure out which time you would be up, and to be here exactly at that time------"
"How so?"
"Oh, that's because you still wake up exactly 7am-ish of Indian timing, which precisely means-----"
"Around 2am here?" she exclaimed butting in suddenly and he just nodded making his lips straight, his eyebrows arching up, even as she flipped her head to the bed-side clock to exactly find the time showing 2:30 am and she looked back sheepishly to meet his teasing grin.
"Go on, freshen up and come" he said finally leaving her alone.
**
Seated in the couch of his front room, flopping his legs over the fluffy cushion ahead, dressed in thick jeans and a maroon sweat shirt, being engrossed in the ad-design of his new assignment, Arnav found himself waiting for Khushi to come out while listening to the shuffling sound from Kitchen indicating the work in progress.
Just as he thought he heard her walk in and before he could turn around, he heard her screaming loud. He turned around, placing the laptop on his table in flip second only to find her staring at the large glass wall standing out at the far end of the hall, her stance completely stilled.
"Whats wrong?" he said walking towards her.
"Arnav?" he heard her voice as if in a complete daze.
"What?" he asked truly confused as he finally reached her and all he could see was her wide eyes completely filling her face and her stance as still as a statue.
"ARNAV!!!"
"Khushi, what's the matter?"
"That!" she finally pointed out to the glass wall she was staring and he turned around to look at the object of her vision. "Arnav! What the hell is this??"
"I seriously have no idea what----"
She ran past him towards the wall and within quick few strides she almost but hugged the wall, placing her both palms flat on the surface, her eyes completely attuned to the view outside. "This is INCREDIBLE!" she said just as he reached her and he finally looked at what amused her, this time actually looking at the view outside, which he had long become quite used to.
External to that long, full length glass wall, stood the view of the Chelsea Bridge running across the Thames river, illuminated in the mid-night darkness with electrical lights running across the beads and strands of what looks like a typical London bridge construction, with the long ropes and pillars bordering the bridge road, as the water from beneath showed clear pale color reflecting the colorful lightening from the tall buildings surrounding the periphery of this view and the road adjoining the bridge showed soft yellow glow owing to the tall ancient roman designed pillars which held bright street-lights, in the almost empty vicinity, adding that extra edge to the entire sea view.
"Chelsea Bridge" he said observing the view briefly for a moment before shifting his attention to her. As much as spectacular the view was, it was those very hazel eyes that resembled almonds in that very moment, those very slightly wet strands of hair bordering her cheeks, her completely non-groomed attire of georgette off-white PJ's, that held him captivated for more than a few moments, as she continued to stare out of the wall, pressing her face to see beyond her slight reflection, completely and totally amused by it all.
"Huh what?" she said not shifting her attention.
"Chelsea, this part of the city is called Chelsea and that's the bridge running over-------"
"-------Thames River, yes, I've read about it"
He just raised his eye-brows appreciatively, lazily tugging his hands into his jeans, continued to observe her ever movement completely oblivious to her.
"Isn't it supposed to be very cold here, in comparison to where I stay?"
"Yes, winters are supposed to be cold, as in colder compared to India, why?"
"But I don't feel it, I mean I'm just roaming around with one layer of clothes just like you, isn't it really cool? That I'm doing pretty good with this climate already?"
He looked at her from behind, as she continued to stare out at the view, through his narrowed teasing gaze, amused even, before looking away for a moment chuckling a little---- "Uh, yes, you are doing a great job"
"But this view Arnav! It's spectacular! Oh wait!! We are in the top most floor?"
"Uh, the pent house?"
That finally made her shift attention back to meet his eyes, those very hazels continued to pour out surprise and amusement all in right amounts and he just shrugged awkwardly.
"You have a pent-house in the London city, wow! You guys really are rich!"
"What's that supposed to mean?" he said brushing it off as he started walking back to his laptop. Khushi glanced at him, before shifting her attention back to the view; however her eyes mid-way caught the glimpse of a spiral stair-case leading upstairs, to one of side of the hall-way, which she had completely missed before.
"You really do like spiral stair-case, don't you?"
"Khushi! No! You aren't going up there!" he turned around abruptly, just to catch the glimpse of her stepping onto the stairs. "Oh! May be I should consider shifting to the ground floor, for a few days" he talked more to himself.
"Can we go upstairs Arnav, please?"
"I just said NO..N.O, NO!" he stressed spelling out clearly letting her know his words.
She then got off from the stair-case, stood ahead of it completely facing him and looked on with her pleading eyes, folding her hands across her stomach. "Can we go upstairs, please please please please please please please please!!"
He held her gaze noticing her small emphasize on we, and his insides did a small flip-flop with the amount of trust she is putting on him, and letting it on even, and he finally smiled, letting go off his strict exterior and acknowledging her.
"You get going, I'll join you-----"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, go on----"
**
She almost but twirled through the stair-case, hopping the steps and ran across the small sit-out in the upstairs. She looked around taking in the cozy small sitting area, before her eyes landed on the double door, which probably opened to the exterior of the pent-house. She ran across the small area, her eyes showing excitement and anticipation to finally feel the fresh River air, her hair hoped behind her head along with her running self and she opened the double door using both of her hands, all too dramatically, only to be instantly hit my sudden coldness and dampness of the weather.
She shivered as a reflex action, even as a gasp of quiver escaped her mouth, before her legs betrayed her to go any further and she found herself stepping back abruptly still gasping and she landed right into Arnav's arms.
"Ah!" she exclaimed as she hit her back inside his chest, even as his hands came encircling around her, wrapping her in the quilt that he had brought with himself, his palms caressing the sides of arms, everything of which happened in such sudden quick moments, that she hardly had any-time to process it all.
"Ha! It...its...COLD!" she said as a silly little chuckle escaped her throat. He wrapped his hands around her arms over the quilt and she turned around reflexively welcoming the heat from his body, snuggling inside his arms.
"Aren't you the cool one getting used to temperature changes pretty soon?" He said rubbing her back, generating more heat, even as his head on its own accord rested on that of hers.
"Oh no no... this is re...really, very...co..cold!!" she sighed amidst her stammering and he chuckled.
"But inside------"
"Heat conditioned"
"To corrected temperature!"
"Uh"huh"
"Damn You RichieRich, stop annoying me more now, this is limits, what else do you have? A private jet? A private island somewhere in Antarctica? Or wait, may be you do have a pent-house on the moon!"
"Now that's a thought" he chuckled.
"Eee!!! Arnav, let's go down, this...this is ju...just too cold"
"I was waiting for you to recover; we should get you some warm clothes"
"As in, do I get a personal designer?"
He laughed, cuddling her more as she smirked inside his arms----- "Nope you have to adjust with me, I keep it very low outside India-----"
"Yeah, I can see that! Uoh! Oh my god! Let's go inside Arnav, already!" she whinnied as she shivered inside his arms owing to the damp cold wind.
"What about the River-view?" he said quite seriously, causing her to look up meeting his eyes as a small helpless pout made its way adorning her lips.
He held her gaze, with sudden possessed raw emotion, his molten orbs conveying sweet nothings directly to her hazels and even as she found herself captivated by his gaze, she suddenly realized the extent of proximity they were in. Wrapped in that thick quilt, encircled inside his arms, as the warmth from his body soothed her nerves, looking up at him with a spark of adulation, Khushi simply looked like his own iota of happiness, as clich as it sounds.
He then bent down, cuddling her into his both arms, being completely oblivious to her sudden squirming reactions, he walked carrying her in his arms, his face resembling that of a man carrying a priced possession, towards the railing of his terrace, as she trembled yet again owing to the constant breeze causing him to bring her even more close and she finally gave in tangling her hands around his neck, all too tightly, sharing his body heat even more.
"Uh, feet are instantly prone to cold, this way; it might feel a little better"
He explained, not really concentrating on his words, as he could see her even more affected by his eyes that were only attuned to that of hers and he walked lost in a world that was quite unknown to the both of them.
For now.
Gazing down from the pent-house, at the beauty of that part of London city, that greeted them back completely groomed in the most sophisticated way possible, with the calmness of the cold night settling in their stance, as she continued to take-in the beauty of busy city, he found himself totally attuned to the epitome of serenity in his hands.
"I now have my own way of overcoming the fear of heights" she said clutching his neck, her eyes concentrating on the view below.
"Huh?" he said coming out of his little daze.
"I might get heavy sometimes though, do you mind?" she asked finally locking her mischievous yet mysterious eyes with that of his and he looked on briefly for a second before the knowing smirk adorned his face realization of her words finally settling in.
"I'll keep getting stronger too" he said holding her eyes, as his head on its own accord bent slightly colliding with that of hers, causing the both of them to let out small serene laughs together. "As long as you continue to invade such methods of overcoming your fears, I don't mind at all"
She laughed again, with her head rested against that of his, as their smiling eyes yet again indulged into their own captivating world, with the mid-night lights from the city of dreams standing in the background, these entwined souls finally had set to their own journey, of hopes and promises.
