1. Miscarriage, Give away baby, Baby exchange: If a girl is pregnant, one of the above sure will happen and if in does not either the baby will be kidnapped or baby could be abnormal and just before delivery the girl will fall from the stair or have an accident. If girl is really, really lucky baby will be all right.
Tulsi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: gave he older son to her sister-in-law Aarti and he other son Ansh was kidnapped after his few days of his birth.
Parvati of Kahanni Ghar Ghar Kii: He daughter Gayatri was exchanged with girl Shruti.
Gunn, Sonu, Shruti in Kahanni Ghar Ghar Kii: They all were pregnant at the same time. Shruti and Gunn had an accident, while Gunn's child died and Shruti give birth to a girl. Sonu did not wanted the child, she gave birth to boy. Sonu gave her boy to Shruti, whose husband wanted a boy child. Shruti gave her daughter to Gunn, who husband just wanted child. While Sonu told family that he baby died.
Sneha in Kasauti Zindagi Kay: When she was pregnant first time she had a miscarriage.
Bani in Kasamh Se: While trying to save her husband, Bani lost her first child.
Gauri in Karam Apna Apna: she is pregnant first time. She nearly had a miscarriage and there are chances that Ekta's might kill her babies (few chances).
2. Evil Sons: every show at one point will have an evil son. Either the son is adopted or own son. Mostly sons is kidnapped and raised as evil. Son might turn good or will be killed be his own mother.
Ansh in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: Ansh was one of the best villain of ekta's shows. Ansh was kidnapped when young and was raised evil. Because of his evil deed and while trying to save her daughter-in-law, Nandni, Ansh's mother Tulsi killed Ansh.
Prem in Kasauti Zindagi Kay: Prem was kidnapped when about 8 years old and was raised evil. He did some really bad stuff. While a girl Mukti loved Prem but he did not loved her back then after 5 years Prem realized that he loves Mukti but it's was too late. Mukti was killed. During this time Prem turned good from being evil.
Manthan in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: Manthan is spoilt and have evil intentions but his character have not done something big evil stuff. But in futures it could be possible.
3. One-night stand, Rape, and an affair child: Another one of the most used twist is rape, one-night stand and an affair child. A girl will get rape and be pregnant, she will have one-night stand and be pregnant also a guy will have an affair and be pregnant.
Mandria in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: She had an affair with Mihir during his memory lost and gave birth to boy name Karan.
Kesar in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: She was raped by the guy who loved her and she give birth to boy name Harsh, who was adopted by Tulsi Virani.
Nandni in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: her own, evil husband, Ansh, raped her and later she give birth to girl name bhoomi.
Bani in Kasamh Se: She was marry to Jai but never had a reation. During their one-night stand Bani got pregnant and later had a miscarriage.
Pia in Kasamh Se: She had a one-night stand in Dubai with drunk Jai and currently is pregnant with his child (there are rumours that she is not pregnant and or the baby is not Jai's).
4. Couple separation: Ekta's most used twist. Couple at one point in the show will separate. Eith by other women or some secret or misunderstanding.
Prerna-Anurag-Mr. Bajjaj in Kasauti Zindagi Kay: Anurag and Prerna loved each other but Anurag's mother made Anurag marry Komalika. Prerna married Mr. Bajjaj. When Mr.Bajjaj disappeared, Prerna married Anurag and Prerna thought that Anurag is responsible for thir oldest son Prem's death. Prerna re-married Mr.Bajjaj and Anurag is currently marry to Samphada (Sam).
Prem-Mukti in Kasauti Zindagi Kay: prem did not love Mukti but Mukti loved him and they were friends and they were separated by Debonita.
Mihir-Tulsi: Couple separated several time but the 2 most important separation was when Tulsi discovered that Mihir had an affair with Mandria during his memory loss and before second 20 years leap.
Nandni-Karan: They loved each other but Karan's mother Tulsi made Nandni marry to Ansh. But When Ansh died they had a chance to be together but while giving brith to her daughter she went to coma. When she came out of coma and later she went to jail for 14 years. While Karan was forced to marry to Tanya.
Saahil-Ganga: When some misunderdtanding came between them. Saahil cheated Ganga with Tripti and Ganga-Saahil got divorced.
Bani-Jai in Kasmah Se: Jai was suppose to marry to Bani's sister but Pia ran away and Bani got married. They start off with rought start but eventually fell in love and they again got separated when Jai while drunk slept with Pia.
5. Women leaving the House: if there is upcoming leap, leading or supporting ladies will leave the house and return after 20 years. Sometime as some other person.
Tulsi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: When second 20 years leap, Tulsi was thrown out of ShantiKaten and she returned after 20 years.
Ganga in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: After her divorce from Saahil Ganga left ShantiKaten and returned after 20 years.
Parvati in Kahanni Ghar Ghar Kii: Before second 18 year leap, Parvati pertended to be dead but when she was alive and returned after 18 years as Janki Devi.
Kesar in Kesar: Before 20 or 18 year leap she had a accident and her face was changed and she became to knowns as Kavita ji.
