Part 21
It had been two months since Arnav and Khushi had got married.They were happy in their married life and so focused in it,they forgot to tell their family Khushi was pregnant.Khushi was loved by the family members.They strongly loved her.One afternoon,Arnav got a phone call "Hello"
"Sir..you have to go to Florida for the meeting regarding the Mehtas"
"Oh yeah..when do I have to leave?"
"I suggest you leave tonight..it will take you a day to get there in the plane and the meeting is on the day after" suggested Aman.
"Hmm..okay" agreed Arnav "Get my jet ready" He cut the phone and went down to the living room where his family was relaxing and talking.He cleared his throat grabbing everybody's attention "I am leaving for Florida tonight to go for a meeting"
"Is it important...can't you stay?" asked Priya.
"I have to go..it is important" answered Arnav.'Although I don't want to' he thought to himself,looking at Khushi.She was already looking at him and looked sad.
"Oh okay...I'll help you" said Khushi getting up from the couch.
Arnav nodded.She followed him upstairs to their room and took out his bag.Arnav looked at her and held her shoulder.She immediately burst into tears and hugged him tightly.Arnav caressed Khushi's back "Don't worry I'll only be gone for three days..a day in the plane to get there,a day for the meeting and another for coming back..I'll be back before you know it" Khushi nodded and wiped her tears.She helped Arnav pack his luggage.By night,Arnav was ready to leave.It was a tearful goodbye even though it was only for three days.Arnav smiled at his family's antics.He went to Khushi and kissed her "I'll see you soon" Khushi nodded.She watched as he left in his car,not knowing this would be one of the last lovable gestures he would give her for a while.

Arnav arrived at the airport and sighed.He knew he would probably miss Khushi the most from his family.He hoped these three days would pass by quick.Arnav went over to his private jet but stopped when he felt a hand on his shoulder.He turned around and was shocked to see Khushi in front of him.She smiled "I hope you don't mind if come along" she said a bit too sweetly.
Arnav scrunched his eyebrows "Of course Angel but how or why...I thought you were going to stay with the family"
Khushi hesitated "Ah..I couldn't stay a second away from you so the family agreed and let me come with you"
Arnav smiled but then his smile faltered "What happened to your voice..are you okay?"
"O-of course...now come on..lets go" she said in a hurry.
Arnav let go of his suspicions and agreed.He felt happy Khushi was with him but he didn't know why he felt a bit uncomfortable.He ignored his feelings and smiled at her as they took their seats.

The next day,they arrived in Florida and checked into a hotel.As Arnav entered their room,followed by Khushi,he put down his small bag on to the bed.He opened it up looking for his files.Looking at the time,he took out his files and turned around.Khushi stood there,very close to him.She smiled that over sweetly smile and wrapped her arms around his neck.Arnav feeling extremely uncomfortable,moved back "Uh Khushi..I have to go for a meeting right now...I'll be back in a few hours" Khushi made an annoyed face and stepped back.Arnav sighing a breath of relief left the room.
As he drove to the building his meeting was held in,he wondered to himself 'What's wrong with me..why do I all of a sudden feel so uncomfortable with Khushi's touch..nothing like that happened before I left' He shoved those thoughts away thinking he might be just over reacting.

Khushi was looking around the room,fasinated how everything looked so expensive 'Wow he sure is rich' thought Khushi to herself with a smirk.She heard a phone ring and turned around.Opening up her purse,she took out her phone and answered it "What...yeah yeah I know what to do...you better get my money ready or I'll tell him everything...good..whatever" she cut the call and threw it on the bed.Khushi looked at the mirror behind her and smirked.Walking up close to the mirror,she touched her face "I sure can make a lot of money with this face" she smirked.

In a couple hours Arnav finished his meeting and returned by 5:30 pm.Khushi was sitting on the bed reading a magazine "Khushi" Khushi looked at him and smiled "Khushi..we have been invited to go to a party organized by the Mehtas..want to go?"
"Sure"
"It's starting in about half an hour"
"Okay..I'll go get ready" Khushi got up and went to the washroom with her bag,which contained her clothes.
About half an hour,Khushi was still in the washroom.Arnav knocked on the door "Are you ready Khushi?"
"No Arnav..how about you go and I'll come later"
Arnav hesitated and then agreed "It's on the bottom level,in the lounge" He left.

Arnav was standing,sipping his drink when he caught sight of Khushi.At first he couldn't believe it was her but going up close,he realized it was really her.She was wearing a tight black dress up to her knees.She was wearing so much make up,it was difficult to tell if it was really her.She was drinking wine like it was her only way of living.He walked up to her and grabbed her by the elbow and turned her around.She frowned "Why are you wearing this kind of dress"
"What do you mean?I love this dress" she said.
"Since when did you start wearing these kind of outfits and drinking wine?"
"It's been so long" she said spreading her arms "I love wine..sarees make me think I am some kind of old lady"
"You said you aren't comfortable wearing these kinds of dresses"
"I did?Then I must have lied" she grinned.
"Mr.Raizada" called out a man.Arnav turned around.He greeted the man and exchanged conversation.When he left,Arnav turned around.Khushi was missing.He was so confused.Why was she acting so differently?He looked around.A couple minutes later,he found her but not alone.A man was kissing her and she was kissing him back.He couldn't believe it.The man pulled back and left.She fixed her dress and hair.He decided to confront her.Walking up to her,he turned her towards him "Khushi...are you cheating on me"
Khushi smiled and nodded "Yes I am cheating on you..you must have seen me kissing that guy..I do a lot more then that" with that said,she turned and left leaving a heart broken Arnav.

The next day,Arnav was all alone in jet.He had received a note from Khushi stating she had already left for Delhi.Arnav felt heart broken as he recalled the previous day's events.He closed his eyes and leaned against his seat and wondered 'How could I make such a big mistake..I should've known every girl is the same...they just want money...and I thought she loved me'.He let out a tear.

Arnav arrived in Delhi and immediately went to Raizada Mansion where his family was eagerly waiting for him.He took measured strides into the mansion ignoring his family.He immediately went to his room where Khushi was making the bed.'She's wearing a saree' he thought to himself 'What a big drama queen'.Khushi turned around and grinned.She hugged him "I am so glad to see you back" He pushed her off and she looked at him confused.Aranv took out a bag and began packing Khushi's things "Arnav what are you doing?"
"Getting rid of you" he answered angrily.Khushi looked at him confused.He took her bag in one hand and grabbed her wrist in the other.He dragged her with him downstairs where his family began questioning him.He didn't answer anybody and kept dragging her towards the exit.He pushed her out and threw her bag outside "I wish to never see your face again and I regret spending every second of my time with you..get out of my life...girls like you deserve to die..I HATE YOU" he yelled.The family tried to calm him down and get him to answer their question but he didn't say a word.Khushi had began crying at his words.Arnav closed the door on her face and left for his room.He didn't know he would regret this mistake one day...
