Dhruv says this to Dilz regarding the halwa that he made exclusively for Saanchi, n how he was going to feed it to her sabse pehle. But little does he know that this mere thought is the crux of their relationship. Their love-story. Its just one-sided love right now. Only from Dhruv's side. Saanchi, though, does cares for him & he has become an important part of her daily life and perhaps that is a kind of love. But her feelings are not that intense yet, as are of Dhruv.
Yes we know that their love-story isn't easy. They will have to win over numerous hurdles. But aaj nahin toh kal, pyaar ho hi jayega
