Chapter 7
Arnav was looking at Khushi as if he was seeing her for the first time.Her open locks swayed with a gust of wind.The simple plain saree hung close to her body & he could imagine her curves & cuts.His lust increased when he saw her trembling lips.He made her stand by holding her firmly by her shoulders.She backed off a little bit not to create any scene.But he cared less about his surroundings & kept advancing at her until her back hit the wall.It was the more secluded corner.No one could have seen them by any chance.He bent down towards her & she turned her face to the other side.He was dangerously close to her.
"You look more beautiful with open hair." He said huskily & Khushi felt her knees giving away due to his close proximity & his heady masculine scent.She blushed furiously while her eyes were set to ground all the time.
He came more close to her & buried his face into her open hair & inhaled deeply.He remembered the last time when she was in Red saree in his party.He had seen her for the first time then & had ended up kissing her senselessly.She had ignited raw lust in him.He remembered as well the way she had gave in to him & reciprocated him back.The memory of that night & all the other encounters with her flashed in front of him.Khushi tried to get away from him but he blocked her way by putting both his hands to the either sides of her petite waist.She was trapped in between him & wall.Her breathing turned ragged & she feared if he could hear her heart beats.She knew from her past experiences with him that this situation would only lead to more guilty consciences for her.While he would get away unaffected with this.She decided that she won't let this happen this time so she gathered courage & looked into his eyes.
"Hume jaane dijiye." She said in a firm tone that he stopped to think for a moment.Just for a moment.
"Xcuse me?" His voice was crispy & his eyes were intense.
"I said let me go." Khushi said in a determined tone with head held high.
"Make me." He said stubbornly.
Khushi struggled in his hold to break free & Arnav tightened his hold on her.The more she moved more he pressed himself against her.He was seeing her feisty side for the first time.He liked it a lot.In fact he enjoyed this little game.He smirked looking at her futile efforts to get out of his arms.He knew she'd never succeed.
"Don't strain yourself so much.You can't do it." His voice was filled with sarcasm.
"Yes I can." She started moving faster to be out of his almost hug.
"You can't always do everything."
"I.said.I.Can ."
"Really?" He said in amusement.
"Yes." She put her tiny palms to push him & he didn't budge even a centimeter.
"Tum wo sab nahi kar sakti jo main kar sakta hoon." He started his game by throwing challenge at her.
"Haan hum kar sakte hain." She said with determination not wanting to give in to him unaware of the fact that she was willingly tangling herself into the web he just woven around her.
"Kya tum wo karogi jo main karunga?" He nudged her further to infuriate her.
"Haan." She said looking straight into his eyes.This game was turning out interesting.Really interesting.
Arnav let go off her immediately & the next moment sneaked his strong arm around her waist & pulled her flush on his hard chest & slammed his lips on her.That was a quick,teasing & hot kiss.He was kissing her for 2nd time yet Arnav felt like there was much more to explore & know about her luscious,soft lips.Her lips felt silk against his own manly & rough lips.He sucked on her fuller lower lip & broke the kiss.Khushi's eyes were shut & cheeks were rose red.He could see goosebumps on her slender milky pale arms.He loved the effect he had on her.He had not enough of her lips but he controlled himself. 'Some other time.' He thought devilishly.
"Your turn." Arnav whispered in a raspy voice & Khushi jerked out of her ecstasy filled moment.She stared at him with 3 perfect O s on her face. "Remember the challenge?Or it's OK.You can admit that you can't always do everything & specially things that I can do." He added further when he saw those priceless expressions on her face.He was enjoying it thoroughly.
"Dekhiye...hum...wo...aap..." She pointed her finger at him & stammered when couldn't find right words.
Khushi wanted to lash out on him for doing all this to her & wanted to shut him by her daring & bold answer but it couldn't happen because soon they heard some loud arguments & music stopped abruptly.They turned to see people gathering in a circle around someone.Arnav heard Aman's voice,so does Khushi & both hurried towards the crowd to see what was happening.They made their way ahead of the crowd & found Aman trying to pacify Lavanya.The host of the party stood with the red left cheek which had Lavanya's finger marks on it.He was shooting death glares at her.
"How dare you hit me you b****." He said rubbing his cheek.
"Shut up you creep.In fact that's not enough for you.I should have slapped you one more time." Lavanya fumed in anger.Aman held her in case she goes & slap the guy again.
"What's the matter Lavanya?" He asked her & turned to the guy who was his business associate & host of that party. "And Mr. Sharma mind your language."
"This bi..."
"I said mind your language." Arnav said in a dangerously low & threatening voice.
"ASR this bas***d was trying to hit on me.He thought I come in handy with his link to AR Designs." Arnav listened to Lavanya & turned to the guy with clenched jaws.
"Is it true?" Arnav asked him in bone chilling cold voice through gritted teeth.The guy just turned his head away & bore his eyes on ground.Arnav got the picture clearly & stood right before him.
"We are done from now on Mr. Sharma.I'm breaking all the tie ups with you.You won't be connected with AR Designs anymore." His powerful & authoritative voice sent chills of fear down Mr. Sharma's spine.He felt he'd collapse any moment.He regretted the moment when he had thought of messing up with Lavanya.
"Please Mr. Raizada..." He said in pleading tone.
"Enough.First learn to behave with women then talk to me.Good bye"
Arnav advanced towards exit & all three of them followed him.Khushi was by Lavanya's side.She felt sorry for her former boss.Aman had arranged for their transport back to hotel over phone.The car came to pick them up after some time.Khushi,Lavanya & Aman had witnessed completely different & opposite side of Arnav.They all were thinking of the happenings in party when they reached the hotel.Lavanya thanked Arnav for his support back in party & Aman accompanied her towards lift.She was disturbed a lil bit.Aman had asked for his & Lavanya's dinner in their respective rooms & made sure Lavanya had her dinner.He asked Arnav over phone about his & Khushi's dinner & Arnav told him not to bother about that.
Khushi was starving & so was Arnav.She was feeling shy to tell Arnav so.Arnav who himself was hungry realized her reluctance & offered her to have dinner with him.She nodded positively with the cute blush on her cheeks & Arnav lead her towards the poolside restaurant of the hotel.Arnav chose a table at far corner which was almost deserted.The place was magnificent & quite romantic.Khushi felt out of the place when she looked around her.Arnav read her expressions & made her comfortable by telling her to be relax.He placed order after asking her choice for dinner.There was time for the dinner to be served & Arnav's mind turned at the incidents from the party.His thoughts stopped at when he had kissed Khushi & challenged her to do the same.He smirked inwardly not letting her know his thoughts.It was time to get the reward back.He bent slightly towards her & Khushi looked at him questioningly.
"You remember the challenge right?" He said innocently & Khushi stared back at him with confusion.Then she looked into his eyes shining with naughty glint in them & realized what he meant.She started looking everywhere to avoid his heated gaze.Her cheeks were stinging due to furious blush.She had forgot about the challenge long ago.But he was hell bent on making her do so or admit her defeat.She started thinking some way out of this situation.She excused herself hurriedly & went to the washroom as the primary escape plan.She spent a good time just staring at herself in the mirror in washroom & finally came out & went towards their table.When she was just a few steps away from him Khushi saw a girl in black short dress hugging Arnav & kissing him on cheek.'How dare she?' Khushi thought while she felt her blood boiling with anger.She tried to compose herself but failed miserably.'Control yourself Khushi Kumari Gupta.It's not like he is committed to you or something to stay away from other girls.' She told herself while twisting the end of her pallu in between her fingers & imagined that girl in the place of fabric.No matter how much she denied the green eyed monster had best of her.She went over to the table & Arnav turned to look at her.The girl was practically clinging on to Arnav.And Khushi was restless.So much restless.
"Khushi meet Tina.She had worked with us last year.She was the show stopper of our winter collection showcase in L & W Fashion week.And Tina this is Khushi,my..."
"Girlfriend." Khushi jumped in between his sentence & said hurriedly while flashing a fake smile at Tina & leaning on Arnav.Her revelation made both Arnav & Tina gape at her in shock.Though Arnav composed himself after few seconds.'What is she up to?' He thought.
"I see.Nice to meet you Khushi." Tina responded her back with a fake smile too & shook her hand.
"Oh god.I think I forgot my cell in washroom.I'll be right back Arnavji." She lied looking at Arnav & stood.She hurriedly went near him & pecked his lips quickly.It was just a kiss of nano seconds & Arnav became statue with eyes wide open.
"Excuse me." She said to Tina & went towards washrooms & Tina stared at her back as if she had seen some ghost.She was shocked to see her public display of affection that too for THE Arnav Singh Raizada.
Khushi entered the washroom & closed the door behind her.Her heart was pounding against her rib cage.She Leant over the door & kept her right palm over her erratically beating heart.Her cheeks were putting scarlet color to shame.She felt smoke coming out of her ears.She couldn't believe what she did few moments ago.She did not wanted to be mentioned as his secretory by him so she presented herself as his girlfriend in front of Tina.She was jealous & she couldn't believe the intensity of her own jealousy.She came out of the washroom after gathering courage to face Arnav.She was hell nervous.She stood in front of him all the while fidgeting with her Pallu.Tina was gone & Arnav was waiting for Khushi to show up.He looked at her but she refused to meet his gaze.He stood & Khushi went back a step.
"I'm not hungry.I'm going back to my room.Good night Sir." She turned & sprinted out from there.Arnav again did not like her calling him 'sir'.He followed her & caught up with her near elevator.Khushi wished she had took stairs instead of lift because Arnav entered just before it was about to close.He barged in & Khushi backed off hastily until her back hit the wall of elevator.He turned to face her & towered over her keeping both his arms at either side of her face to prevent her from escape him.Her breathing became heavy & her heartbeats sky rocketed.His breath was falling on her cheek & he looked in no mood to let go of her at any cost.
"What was that?"
"Kya?"
"What did you do?"
"Hu...humne kya kiya?" She asked bravely.
"You kissed me."
"S...So what...I was...I...I completed my challenge.And now you can't say that I can't do things that you can do." She flatly lied not looking at him.Because she knew if she looked in his eyes she would blurt out the truth.Which was the last thing she wanted to happen right now.She wondered how she ended up in such a situation.
"Really?" Arnav smirked & said lazily in his husky voice. "Well I must tell you that you are really clumsy at completing challenges." He provoked her.
"What do you mean?" She snapped at him like feisty tigress.
"I mean that was the lamest attempt at whatever you tried to do back there.That does not even count for me.We are still not even if you talk about our challenge." He backed off two steps & stuffed his arms in his pocket & gave her his rarest lopsided smirk.His eyes were talking what he didn't say.He clearly wanted more cuz his lust was still unsatisfied.Arnav reached out & pressed the stop button on lift's wall.Khushi stared in horror at his hand & then at him.
"What are you doing?"
"This elevator won't get started until you complete your challenge properly."
"Aap aisa nahi kar sakte." She dashed forward at the button to start the lift but Arnav was fast than her.He held her wrist & pulled her towards him.She collided with him & a gasp escape her lips.He held her sneaking his strong arms around her waist.
"Let go off me." Khushi struggled & said angrily with hurt in her eyes.Arnav loosened his grip over her but did not released her.
"Aap kya chahte hain?" She asked finally giving in.
"You." Arnav's voice was hoarse & he was aroused by then due to her constant moving in his arms.His desires were nudging him to do all the forbidden things to her.But then he looked into her eyes & her face & some invisible force stopped him from going further.He let her go & backed off.Lift came in to life the next moment & Arnav fixed his gaze on her face not blinking eyelids in case he loose her sight even for a nano fraction.
He wondered on his own action but he felt good.Despite his overpowering lust for her he knew his limits too somewhere deep down his heart.He knew the difference between right & wrong.He knew the fine line where human could turn into animal.It was in his blood.It was in his mother's upbringing.He had known it all by heart but had locked it up inside when the world he knew,gave a damn about him & his Di,long back when he was just a kid.That's when he learnt to give a damn about a thing to the whole world.He had turned ruthless & heartless.But today he felt like reminding all those nice things & values his Maa told & taught him when she was alive.He felt like coming back to roots.This girl in front of him evoked all these within him.The girl in red.The girl who succeed to provoke lust in him.If lust was an emotion then she had succeeded in breaking walls around him & infect that intense emotion in him.Because he had locked up himself to even lust before meeting her.It was just Khushi for whom his lust was reserved for.Not before her.Not after her.There was only she & his lust for her.The intensity of his obsessive lust increased tenfold after that & he decided to burn in it alone for time being.
