Castiel is now one hundred percent human. So, he feels hungry, can't get accustomed to urinating so frequently and stares at women's breasts. Cas was an oddball even as an angel, but as a human, I am telling you, he's a riot. Bar the moments in which he's hungry and homeless and eventually stabbed at the end by the lady he gave his virginity to, Castiel had me smiling throughout the episode. The change of events and the dramatic transformation of species for Castiel was really well written and equally well enacted. This is one of Misha Collins' best episodes in the show. And before I move on from Cas's subject, I will say this - 'did you have protection?' 'I had my angel blade.' is more epic than words can describe and no, I have not laughed as much as I did at that in a long time. 🤣
In the matter of the Winchesters, I see that Sam's feeling really good and he'll feel just as bad, maybe even worse when he finds out Zeke, the angel is giving him booster shots from inside. Speaking of, Dean's screwed. He looked absolutely torn even as he looked from a dead Cas to a passed out Sam at April's house. And eventually, he was faced with the choice between Sam and Cas. 😳 When he told Cas couldn't stay there, that hit and it got sore.
Now, I have a couple of questions in my mind about the episode.
1. Would they like, never let a female character be positive for more than ten minutes?
2. The conversation that Cas had with a woman at the church - the lady had quite the point a lot of people have made to me. 'You've gotta believe in something stronger than you.' What's your take?
Epiphany.
