Jalal in his chamber,when Jodha arrives with a bowl.Jalal teases her,by saying seems like she has had a major behavioural change. 😆 She has been taking care of Jalal 24x7 in Amer 😳
Jodha simply smiles and says that she did all her 'duties' back in Agra as well 😛 Moving on,she says that Daadisaa had sent prasaad for him and her.
Jodha hands over the prasaad to him and Jalal gulps down the prasaad(kheer) in one go 😆 Only then did he return the bowl. Looking at her expression,Jalal realises,that he must have done something wrong.WHile asking her,she tells him that,they were supposed to share it,but he had finished off everything. 😛
Jalal defends himself by saying that the prasaad was so delicious,he couldn't help himself.
Jodha tells him that there were other things too,he had forgotten.Before he consumes anything,the person who made it was supposed to taste it,to make sure it was safe to be eaten.But he had let go of that rule too now.Had he started trusting her now,she asks.
He replies by saying,he can vouch for the fact that she wouldn't kill him.
Why is that,she asks.He says that,she had ample number of opportunities to do that (and not get caught!),yet,she didn't.Jodha smiles to herself.
Jalal continues praising her,by saying that Rajvanshis had three major qualities;qualities he commended them for.One,Rajvanshis had great battle skills,two be it war or relationship,they don't take things lightly and three,they never attack at one's back.
He then looks at a painting and gives its example;He says that,he wasn't aware whose portrait it was,but one thing is sure of,was the fact that he was a great warrior.And that he said,by looking at the way the picture was sketched.
Jodha proudly says the man in the portrait was none other than Prithviraj Chauhan! (I feel nostalgic,I bet Rajat felt the same way! 4th mention of PRC on the show btw! 😆 )
She describes how righteous and brave he was.He had always protected his country from the invaders.She also speaks of his encounters with Mohammad Ghori.Ghori had supposedly attacked Ajmer 17 times,each time defeated by Prithvi.Yet, Prithvi forgave him. But the ungrateful Afghan,Ghori attacked him by making use of false and wrong means,captured him.
He even plucked out his eyes,because PRC refused to bow down. Prithvi,being the master of various battle skills,kills Ghori,by his shabd bhedi baan vidya (archery,making use of only one's hearing capacity)
Jalal is impressed by hearing his story,but then Jodha says something which stung.She says that PRC had taken an oath to protect their kingdom,she wished there were other Rajvanshis at the time ,so that they could put an end to the Mughals.
Jalal is obviously taken aback,Jodha quickly realises her mistake and does damage control by apologising.
Jalal tells her that she could hit the bullseye without even using weapons.(indirectly telling her that he got the point).
Jodha simply says that she knew that he simply cannot talk in simple words.Taunting is part of his persona 😛
Cut to,all the ladies are gathered. Sukanya's gifts are placed in front of them.Daadisaa asks her to find out which was his Jeeju+Jodha's didi's gift.
After wondering for a bit,Sukanya rightfully picks the right one.Whileasking how she did that,she shows the bangles,kept on that particular thaali. Jodha and Sukanya feel nostalgic thinking about the time,they used to fight over one and other's things,bangles specially.
Hamida and Maham arrive with other Mughal ladies.All gifts from Amer are offered to Sukanya.There was a special thaali for the kids,Jalal had ordered that the gifts be given to them.
The kids are very happy and they praise their jeeju,for keeping upto his word. 😳 They say that he is good with story-telling as well.Jodha recalls his story and giggles to herself 😆
Next,Hamida gifts Jodha with a lehenga.It was a green lehenga. Since Jalal loved green on her,the lehenga was specially begin gifted to her. Her sisters discuss amongst themselves that this wasn't right, jodha hated green.
Just then Maham places her gifts,Rukaiya's gift and Salima's gift.Though the Ameris felt a it awkward thinking about Jalal's other wives,they thanked them.
Next,the Mughals are loaded with gifts from the Amer ladies.Daadisaa had a special gift for Maham.The white clothes she clads herself,were specially ordered. Maham appreciates it.
But later,she calls for Jodha in her chamber and insults her by burning that dress. She does this to take revenge,because Jodha had burnt her gift during her marriage to Jalal.
Meanwhile,Sukanya's in laws arrive and they are welcomed by Amer.
The father-in-law secretly meets Shareefuddin and discusses the demands he had putforth to him,before agreeing to the marriage.Apparently,he wanted rights to Ratanpur's Fort .Shareefuddin lies,saying that he had spoken to Jalal about it and Jalal would announce it before the wedding. While in real,Shareef had not told anything about this to Jalal.
All the men are gathered,to enjoy a game of chaturanga/chaupar.Pratap and Bhagwan Das were playing at the moment and Bhagwan loses.
Some Rajvanshis purposely suggest that Pratap should play with Jalal. Bhaarmal tries to shut the case,by telling that everyone needs to get ready for the utsav. But Jalal says that he accepts the challenge. He was ready for the game as well as the utsav.
precap : Sukanya teases Jodha by saying that,though she hated green,she was wearing the green lehenga. Jalal smiles and tells Sukanya that she had worn it because of him. He says that Jodha looks lovely in green 😉
