For me too, she would qualify as the worst MIL in the history of BV...she is just literate and not educated - is driven by the same old age old conservative concepts in the garb of being a modern woman.

A close second for me would be Sumitra - the reasons for her being a bad MIL is very different - her love for Anandi is coming in the way of accepting anyone else in the life of J. Her reason for accepting Sa also as a bahu was also only because she had a close association with A. Somewhere inside mayb she is still regretting the fact that they got A married to someone else. She needs to get over it and look at Ganga on an individualistic and subjective basis and for god sake stop calling her apshakun and kaalaa saya and all🤢. Ofcoz the BH guys dint help her either with their constant comparisons of Ganga and Anandi.

DS - did go through a 360 degree change - credit A for that⭐️ so I dont look at her in the light of a killer - the kind of life she has lived - it was a tough one - she is born in the era when surpressing bahus was a norm, plus raising two kids on her own, saving herself from mahavir and successfully commanding her presence in jaitsar - yes, she has done a lot of wrong - but she regrets her actions - and that is what is important at the end of the day - the biggest message of BV sofar have come out through DS👏⭐️

Ratan Singh's mom - another one of those women who probably were repressed by their own saas and do the same to their bahus - Ratan Singhs family represents a lot of what is going on in rural India even today

Gauri's mother - yes, weak and meek and the real instigator in the JG1 relationship - she ruined a lot of things for gauri and jagya both by adding oil to the fire from time to time
