I feel compelled to write this after today's episode.
For a long time I've intentionally prevented myself from wholeheartedly praising, and supporting Bhairon because I always felt that even though his heart is in the right place, he never (most of the time) translates his good intentions into COMPLETE actions. He always supported Anandi's education but cowered in front of DS's and Basant's wrath. I felt like he was always weary of going all the way to bat for Anandi. The same can be said, when it came to punishing Jagya, he relented rather quickly in front of anyone who stood in his way, be it Anandi, DS, Sumi or Basant. I always felt he lacked the staying power of sticking to his guns because of this. The other issue that didn't resonate with me was the fact that he never once, in the past, sit down and have a heart to heart with Jagya. He never counseled the boy. It was always reprimand and punish or ignore.

NOW, however, my opinion has changed. I am loving this Bhairon that clearly shows such growth in his character. The first time he sat with Jagya after the MS was complete, he caught my attention. The second time he met Jagya at the Mandir and listened to him without any preconceived bias, he hooked me and today when he met Jagya in jail and assured him that his father is with him, he sealed the deal for me. This to me is a complete parent.

He has not lost sight of the predicament Anandi is in, and he is not blinded by one child over the other. His talk with Jagya clearly showed the contrast in his mindset not only with Sumitra's mindset but also the Shekhars.

The Shekhars have made Saanchi such a priority in their lives that they are ruining their son's marriage.

Bhairon, take a bow. Today I wholeheartedly praise you and love the role model you are being for dads out there.

yes agree with you
he was with zero doubts for jagya only when he was back after MS and he himself said that even if he got agree for his MS but still had tiny doubts
for me he was becoming silent observer when A brought him back from LG

I do agree that he always punished only jagya from childhood and i felt bad too for that but today he has become biggest strength of jagya so am also very happy for him

It is so wonderful to see how the father son relationship has been salvaged. This could only be possible when one has an open mind and is willing to forgive. I love how Jagya is confiding in Bhairon. He has no reservations in speaking his inner most thoughts. It's a treat to watch because they have come a long long way through many a trial.

He's finally being a good dad. So far the feeding was Sumi, extra love, cash, discussio was Ds n he got to do the dirty work- reprimand !!!

Am glad that now Ds n Sumi went nuts about Anandi and threw him out n abused his innocent wife too, he has a chance to alre do the loving, nurturing, counselling role too.

Yes am really pleased at the way his character has turned out. he has proved himself to be a complete parent - kind, understanding, supportive and most of all, not pre-judging anyone without first listening to their side of the story. He can certainly take a bow...he is a great role model.

it's a treat to watch father and son, particularly the way J is confiding in him things that he was never comfortable in saying earlier. That's what a father - son relationship is all about.
