PART 13: The Face Off and the Plan

Khushi tried snuggling to the person holding her. But she felt more disturbed so she jerked and opened her eyes only to find Aran sitting by her side.

"Aran, What are you doing here at this time" She asked fully awake.

"Just came to see my bride." He said casually and she turned her face.

"I don't like you sneaking in my room at this time of night. Please move" she said uneasily.

"I just came to say that, Our marriage is fixed four days later and from tomorrow all the rituals are starting. So in four days, I don't have the need to sneak in your room" Aran said smirking.

"Fine now, let me sleep and pls, don't come like this next time" Khushi said hiding her irritation. Aran just went out with a hidden smile.

Here Khushi was feeling irritated when Aran came like that. But she couldn't deny the fact that when Arnav came like that, she liked it. At the thought of Arnav sneaking into her room through window brought a blushy smile on her face. But Khushi brushed away her thought.

"Khushi, don't think about him. You have to marry Aran for Amma's promise. Don't fall for him. CONTROL" she said to herself. But her heart was smiling at her.

"You have already fallen for him"

Khushi snapped and fell on her bed.

Next day she was not allowed to go to her office as the marriage rituals started.

Akshita made an excuse of going to temple and rushed out of the house.

She went to the temple and with her mobile that Arnav gave her she contacted him and asked him to meet her in the temple. Arnav arrived there within 30 minutes.

"Chithi, what happened?" he asked as soon as he saw Akshita.

"Chellam, Arnav, Khushi has accepted for the marriage. The marriage is just in next three days. Do something. After she is married, no one can stop her death." Akshita said breathing heavily.

"Don't worry. As I already said, no one can snatch her from me. If Chitappa has played his move, its my turn now, I will put the CHECK" Arnav said sternly. Akshita was relieved and went home.

Here Aman called and fixed a meeting with the RAJAN's. Daksh though he was hesitant, but then accepted and they both went to AR.

They were waiting in the conference room.

"Appa, Why are we here? I want to be there in my marriage rituals."Aran was impatient.

"You dumb, wait. Mr. ASR is well known in this industry. May be we have a deal." Daksh chided.

Daksh was so afraid of Raizada's, that they may trace him down. So he shut himself for few in years in the beginning when RAIZADA textiles transformed into AR.

They both were waiting for some more time. Suddenly the door clicked.

"HOW ARE YOU DAKSH CHITHAPPA?"

Came an icy voice. That voice sent shivers down Daksh's spine.

He was stunned to See the Raizada heir.

"Ar.. A.. Arna... Arnav?" Daksh stammered.

"Yes chithappa. You have a good memory power I must say" Arnav came close to them. He calm beyond boundaries. Aran was confused.

"So there is a marriage? CONGRATULATIONS ARAN" he turned to aran who still had a confused face.

"You don't know me right. I am ARNAV SING RAIZADA. KHUSHI's Husband." He said shaking the hell out of Aran.

He wanted to crush Aran into nothing. Mainly after seeing him hugging sleeping Khushi the previous night. Arnav wanted to check on Khushi. But he witnessed this Idiot's act.

"But I am sorry. I don't think the marriage can actually happen." He slowly said sitting in his seat.

Daksh was the first to recover.

"How can I let you marry my Daughter in law?" but Arnav interrupted.

"Ahan, tsk tsk. Wait. I don't give you choices. Just take a look at the file there." Arnav pointed to the file on the table. Daksh took the file and read its contents. As he read, his face went pale.

"Appa, Enna appa achu(What happened)?" Aran got tensed.

"Ufff... just simple, I have listed all the frauds you have done till today. Like, hmm...

Your connections with underworld people, with whom you use to threaten you rivals.

Then the tax frauds.

"Enna venum unaku. What do you want?" Aran and Daksh asked together.

"Nothing much. I want my wife ie, I will marry her on the same date as Aran" Arnav said casually.

"NOOO" aran shouted.

"Unga kudumi en kaila. Nan solraduku ellam nenga thalaiya aati than aganum(the ball is in my court. You should dance according to my key)" Arnav shrugged.

Daksh knew he was right. he cannot allow his frauds to leak. So he accepted.

"OK, on the same date, you can marry her."

"Appa.."

"Shut up Aran." Daksh snapped.

"Anything else?"

"Well Khushi should not know all these, I mean me being the dulha. And make the rituals in Lucknow style and the main Marriage will be in South Indian Style with phere in my style. Make the arrangements. NOW LEAVE" he yelled at the end and Daksh n Aran just disappeared.

Arnav remembered how Khushi asked the elders to marry her.

"20 years Arnav? I will be 28 then. I cant stay away from you so long. Marry me right now" saying the little Khushi dragged him to the living room where all were gathered.

"Kuku listen to me. I am not going to vanish till then. I will be around you. Kuku.." He tried to make her understand.

"Amma, papa, Arjun mama, Avanti Athai, Arnav says that we will get married after 20 years." It was half question and half statement. Arjun and Rajiv looked at each other and smiled. Arjun took her in his arms and said.

"Haan my princess. Why you don't wanna marry him?"

"NO" Khushi yelled making everyone gasp.

"I don't wanna marry him 20 years later. Get us married now" Khushi was being stubborn that all laughed.

"So my princess wants to marry her Annu now?" Rajiv asked.

"Haan papa." She said sternly.

"Ok, tomorrow we all are going to kanya kumari. There in Devi maiya's temple, you will get married ok?" Avanti said to just calm her down.

"Khushi jumped in joy and ran to Arnav and kissed him soundly on his cheeks making him blush.

"Remember as you promised, I will wear the Red Lehenga tomorrow" Khushi hugged him. and Arnav as usual held her possessively and protectively in his arms.

"So Khushi, Get ready to wear the Red lehenga once again. Your husband is coming." Arnav said with a soft smile. But he was unaware of Daksh's planning.
