Chapter 8

The calm breeze and the scenario gave an unknown piece to my mind; I had to spend this evening alone as Uday failed in coming in his first date. After lunch he along with his dance group had to leave for practice and that was going to take a long time maybe even till late at night as Prof. Suraj was determine to train them till they are perfect. Amidst in the nature I drowned myself in the book, I did not return it yet as I was terribly eager to read it, till now the story moved very interestingly their first meet, there fight, the insanely in love king and the marriage, I never knew ancient king and queen were so romantic but my heart really felt bad for the Avendra guy all he did was to save his love but he was trickled and killed, I do not know why this story is attracting me so much now I am already done with half of the book the other half is left and as I turned to the pages there was a blank page and with a quote

For some love stories one life time is not enough

I wondered what it meant and then turned to read, but the book was blank the pages were covered with black ink it looked like someone had erased the writing by spreading ink but then why would anyone will do that and I was too eager to know what happened to the kingdom, if they were so happily lived king and queen then why did Maharaja Pratabh Singh marry twice and then even committed suicide and what happened to the queen, this piece of information was given to me by my history text book but in this book there is so much of love between the king and queen then what had gone wrong. My mind rang puzzle when suddenly a phrase hit my mind like a thunder stroke the date of war when Maharaja Pratabh Singh went for war and signed a matrimonial treaty was actually just a day after Avendra s dead and even there was no mention of his first queen from after that year. This mystery was getting on my nerve hence I failed to notice when everything around me turned so isolated and lonely, all had left for their dinner it was only a voice that broke into my thoughts, I did not have any control over my mind and I quietly moved where it took me, when I stopped I found myself in a black room there was not even a ray of light and before I could speak anything the voice came deafening my ears, I could not see anything and just heard a female and male voice and observed

FEMALE: NO Please leave me please don't do this please I beg of you do not ruin my life please someone save me please

MALE: this is how it is supposed to happen. Why you are afraid of me?

FEMALE: no...

MALE: you have to respect your position and agree with what I said as I am afraid that I need to force my decision on you then...

There was a loud scream and everything turned quite, there was a silence as I regained my sense there was no one around me I felt a pine ran through my nerve and I knew I needed to get away I tried to move but I tripped over something, I fell on the flat cold floor I tried to get up when a lightening brightened the room for a moment as at that time my eyes fell on that something on which I tripped , my heart stopped beat as it was SOMEONE on whom I tripped, a dead body in torn and worn out cloths lied on its back, it was a famine figure and her clothes were torn in a savage way with nail mark and teeth mark covering her entire body. The room turned dark again, my legs hurt but I cared less, I was covered with sweat the thing I saw had frightened me to dead, I did not see where I am running to but I kept moving as fast as my legs could take me, I only stopped when I dashed with a muscularine figure, I led a loud scream and shut my eyes as tightly as I could, I was afraid to face that figure , but the scent had calmed me as I scooped my head on his chest as he caressed my face, tears kept flowing from my eyes as I said trying it hard to catch my breath

MANYATA: uday ...I ... I ... saw a girl...a girl she is DEAD ...she is no more ...and...And...And her clothes are torn and nail mark and teeth mark all over...Voices...I heard many voices

I looked up at him, but he was not my Uday, he was a male figure his face was covered with blood as his one wounded blood figure came to caresses my face, he said in a cold voice

I love you...Princess

I swayed his hands away and I could not move as I watched him coming more closer to me, I felt it so hard to even move a muscle, he was there standing right in front of me my eyes felt heavy and everything around me turned blank,

A bright ray of light blinded me as after many blinks I adjusted myself in the light, it was my own room but there was no one, I tried sitting up as I was pushed back by a hand, I looked up it was Uday, his eyes reflected anger as I kept quiet and slept back. Before I could even say a word he showered his anger on me as he gritted his teeth and said

UDAY: can you stop getting into trouble when I am not there to save you Manyata. Do you know how worried I was? I came back from my practice and you were simply nowhere. I searched almost this entire freaking place just to find you fainted near the camp fire you know if even a spark was closer to you then you would end up burning yourself where the hell where you Manyata?

I did not want to give him any answer till the time I solve this mystery I would keep it my lips sealed as I opened up my arms and hugged him tightly, he hugged me back as he kissed my hair and said

UDAY: I love you manyata and I really go mad if something ever happens to you sweet heart

MANYATA: I am sorry uday I will not repeat this mistake again

I looked at him as he sat beside me our hands entwined with each other and I said

MANYATA: so did my jaan have his diner?

UDAY: when you are hungry how can I even think of food sweet heart?

I jumped out of the bed and said almost pulling out the electric water boiler and packets or ramen

MANYATA: ok then wait till I make some ramen for both of us

True to its logo it took only two minutes to cook as we sat on the bed and dined on the ramen that night, I cannot assure if it was really the best ramen but uday seemed happier than ever. We wished each other good night as he went back to his room after completely washing the utensil I went back to my bed but sleep and drifted away to sleep in my another nightmare
