Lord Rama kills Ravana in the epic battle of Ramayana.

Every time Rama's arrows pierce Ravana's 10 heads, they are brought back to life by the nectar in his naval. Seeing the dilemma of his Lord, Ravana's brother Vibhishana tells Rama, "Navi kund sudha bas jake, Nath jiye Ravan bal take".

The meaning of this chaupaai from Shri Ramcharitmanas by Tulasi Daas is that Ravana's younger brother tells Rama that Ravana has a pool of nectar in his naval and he lives forever because of its power. There after, Rama aims his arrows on Ravana's naval and first destroys the pool of nectar, after which he kills Ravana with his arrows.
