TOI: Karan Mehra in Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath

Talented and good looking actor Karan Mehra of Amrit Manthan fame is on a roll. After bagging meaty roles in shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Pavitra Rishta, the actor will now be seen playing the role of a Super Villain in Firework's Productions Hum Ne Li Hai.. Shapath on Life OK.


Sources inform that Karan has been finalised to play an interesting role of a super villain on the show. He is expected to soon start shooting for the show.

When contacted, Karan said, "Yes, I am doing the show but unfortunately I can't comment anything on my role as I haven't received any brief on my character. However, I am very excited to play a super villain on TV as the kids love such super hero and super villain shows. Also, I have a young cousin who love these super effects fictional characters so I was more keen taking up this show."
Karan, who has played successful villainous roles on TV says he enjoys playing a baddie as its challenging and romantic lover boy roles hardly have anything to do, "Villainous role gives me variations to perform. Its not that I don't enjoy playing good roles I did that three to four years back but sadly somewhere the good guys (characters) on TV have hardly anything to do. I prefer playing a bad boy anytime," concludes Karan.
