The next day, Khushi came face to face with Shanaya in college. Shanaya knew what all wrong had happened the previous night. She tried to speak but in vain.

"The party was really good yesterday, I missed you a lot." Khushi's voice was curt & sarcastic.

"Listen I---"

"You listen to me!!!!!!" her voice was heavy in pain & anger, "I know that you consider me as a worthless pest buzzing around your brother & you always wanted someone like Lavanya for him. And even I agree your brother & Lavanya are made for each other but that doesn't give you the right to make fun of me, to mock my feelings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"No Khushi you---" she vigorously shook her head but was again interrupted.

"Oh wait a minute!! That was expected out of you, right?" Khushi asked ruefully, "Because even your brother treats me as a time pass object!!!!!!!!"

Khushi's heart wrenched at the fact that she could say something like that about Arnav but she maintained her stand.

Shanaya was stunned to see Khushi behave that way. She had never seen her so violent before. She realized that Khushi's fury could change her completely...

"Khushi!! You're getting it all wrong I---"

But Khushi was gone.

"Damn it!!!!" Shanaya was frustrated, "Who the hell told La about bro's date with Khushi??!!!! I will get to the bottom of this!!!!"

After an hour or so, there were whispers of excitement & anticipation. The guys were straightening their ties while the girls were combing their hair & make-up.

"Eee! ASR is coming for a guest lecture!!!!!!" a friend of Khushi, gushed dreamily.

"I have some other work." Khushi walked out.

She was on her way to the library when suddenly a firm hand circled around her wrist & the very next second, she was pulled inside an empty classroom! Khushi knew who the person was...

Arnav yanked her forcefully towards him & her hands rested on his shoulder. She tightly closed her eyes when he shook her closer by her waist. His hot breaths fanned her face & she felt weak to deny her heart beats for him.

"Khushi, open your eyes & look at me!!!"

His dense whisper made her nerves flutter. His lips touched her earlobe... She squirmed a bit when her curls blew a little with his heated breath...

"I don't want to!!!!" she retorted, gathering herself.

She tried to free herself but he was too strong for her.

"Khushi! yesterday night, whatever you saw, was bullshit!!! You have got it all wrong, trust me!!!!!!" he exclaimed ardently.

"You know that I don't trust you!!! Anyways, I am happy that you patched up with Lavanya, you should be with her & not here!!!!" it pained a lot for her to say that.

"What crap!!! I have nothing to do with her!!!!"

"Let me go!!!" She tried to wriggle out from his firm hold, not hearing a thing.

But he did exactly the opposite by pinning her to the wall. The growing closeness between their faces made things tougher for her...

"Khushi! Look at me!!!" he urged desperately & she felt his body pressed against his...

"Leave me..." she was breathless & she knew she was losing to him...

He sensually kissed her eyes doing away with the moisture in them & her pounding heart attacked her ribcage. She clutched her jacket with all her might when he placed his forehead on hers. His warm breaths swayed past her lips making her gasp a bit. Her chest heaved up & down against his torso drove him into a frenzy.

"When you're near me, you lure my senses away & I can't fathom what's right & what's wrong." he was dazed.

She shrieked when he touched the side of her lips with his...He caressed her nose with in such a manner that she close to her melting point. Arnav tried to kiss her but with great difficulty, she didn't allow him to do so.

Arnav was stunned when she pushed him away.

"Stay away from me please...!! And I am sorry I can't be an object of fun & entertainment for you anymore!!!"

She couldn't believe she spoke to him in such a rude way. Her heart cursed her for that.

"Khushi, you have to believe me. You are breaking my heart." His voice was hostile.

"And you broke my heart!! What about that?!!"

Her reply was so abrupt that startled him. Khushi murdered her tongue for saying that.

"Accept it!!! Tum bhi mujhe chahne lagi ho!!!"

He took a step towards her but she stopped him.

"You are wrong Mr Raizada!!!! And for your kind information, you can't two-time!!!! Please leave me alone!!!!! "

She prepared to leave. He just couldn't take in her aloofness & her cold words.

"I don't think I will leave you alone for a long time." He said intensely.

Khushi staged a walk out.

During break time, she once again came across Arnav. He tried to approach her but she walked away.

"Khushi meri baat---"he was desperate.

"I don't want to hear anything. I don't want to say anything."

"Khushi once---"

He waited for her outside the classroom but she avoided him when she came out. He stalked her from a distance when she walked through the corridors. He gazed at her in the library where she tried to concentrate on the books. He followed her to the canteen where she sat with her friends. But she didn't acknowledge his presence even though it was tough for her to do so. Her heart beats were strong but she remained adamant as well.

"Khushi, listen to me!! Atleast look at me once!!!"

"You don't waste your time on me."

Sometime later, when Khushi looked around, he was nowhere in sight.

It was evening & Khushi sat in the library after her lectures. Arnav did not try to contact her the entire day. Tears filled in her eyes but she rubbed them away! He left her alone, that's what she wanted.

Suddenly Khushi realized she was the only one in the library! Startled, She was placing a book back on the shelf.

"I have tried to stay away from you but I am not able to. Now what?"

A chill ran down her spine as the intensity of the whisper was registered by her ears. She felt his steel torso against her back while her rugged breath smashed her shoulders...She squirmed & his stubble grazed her cheeks in the process...

She mechanically turned around & he finally captured her hazels with his captivating & hostile ones. There were violent ripples engulfing her heart. She was fevicoled between him & the book shelf. Was he really there or her mind was projecting him again like that? She moved her hand to touch his face to confirm his presence. His passion only heightened when he felt her delicate fingers. She at once snapped her hand back along with her trembling fingers. He was really there...

"I HAVE TO tell you something & you HAVE TO listen."

The depth of his possessive voice made her breaths shallow.

"I...I don't know...what you are saying..." she was hypnotized, not able to take her eyes off him.

"I don't know any cheesy dialogues so I will come straight to the point."

"I don't want to hear anything!!!" she finally squeezed her eyes tight. He clasped her hands as she tried to wriggle out.

"I LOVE YOU & YOU LOVE ME TOO!!!!!!!"

"You are confessing to the wrong person!!!!!"

"I LOVE YOU KHUSHI & YOU LOVE ME TOO!!!!!!!"

His voice echoed out even louder & reverberated his voice many times. She snapped her eyes open to meet his firm & intriguing ones. And she at once knew, he really meant each & every letter of the words to her. Silence never felt so life threatening ever before. Her heart was preparing to explode any moment the way he was looking at her. His intense eyes were razor sharp martyring her breaths. She discovered she was voiceless in that moment. She felt her soul drifting in some another world. All the pain & heart ache that she going through vanished in a jiffy...Arnav lowered his lips to touch hers. Their lips were about to lock but Khushi backed off as her mind thought of Lavanya!

He released her, not able to take in the shock of his life.

"You turned me into a prankster when you rejected me on our very first meet itself. If you reject me now, I don't know what I will turn into."

His voice was dangerously passionate.

She somehow moved her legs to reach the door. She shut her eyes tight to stop those tears. He couldn't bear to see her go away from him.

"What is more intoxicating than your eyes, Vodka or Whisky?!!"

His weirdness halted her track but she didn't turn behind.

"What do you mean??" Her vocals were broken!

"I need either of them tonight since you have rejected me again."

His voice was deep. She clasped her bag tightly & left...

Khushi ran as fast as she could...She didn't know what to do. She was hell confused.

She bumped into Shanaya in the campus.

"Whoa! It's the dream of every girl that Arnav Singh Raizada says I love you to them. And guess what it's has happened with you. How is it feeling?" taunted Shanaya.

Ignoring her, Khushi prepared to leave but she was stopped

"Fine! I will be straight" Shanaya took a deep breath, "You know what earlier I hated to see you with Bro but now I just don't know why but I want only you with him."

Khushi was dumbfounded to the core hearing her.

"I want my brother to be happy like my parents were few years ago..." she paused, "...so I wanted a perfect girl for Bro...a perfect love story. I have never seen him so desperate & that too for a girl & I know you obviously love him too .To make long story short, I want both of you together as a couple. "

Khushi's eyes shot wide open.

"This is what I feel. But that doesn't change our equation anywhere." Shanaya concluded.

Raizada Mansion (Night Time)

The room was dimly lit with golden lights. Arnav leaned back on the black sofa with a glass of whisky in hand but his mind was intoxicated by Khushi's images instead...like it always did...but this time his heart burned in frustration not able to accept her cold behavior. And the fact that she harbored the same feelings for him made it all the more difficult for him to bear her aloofness.

"Door rahiye mujhse please...!! And I am sorry I can't be an object of fun & entertainment for you anymore!!!"

"You don't have to waste your time on me."

His eyes were dark with hostility & his grip around the glass went on tightening as the intensity of her thoughts rose in his mind...

"Don't hold the glass so tight, it will break in pieces like my heart."

Arnav stood up with a start to see Khushi standing in front of him & her odd manner puzzled him.

"So you care about the glass, not of my hand which would bleed if it breaks?!!!!!"

He grabbed her waist & pulled her closer. She smiled quirkily. His heart turned violent when she placed a deep kiss on his cheek...& then she sensually caressed his nape...

"You disappointed me a lot Mr Arnav Singh Raizada. A broken lover gulping down drinks & then his lady love comes to his rescue, then they get intimate with each other is so common na, I thought you will be something different but aapka bhi yahi haal hai!"

Arnav was bewildered to see her smirk. She was behaving like him... He possessively shook her closer...

"I love you Khushi!"

He was just about to slam his lips on hers but she disappeared. Arnav looked everywhere...& realized he was dreaming...

"You are mine Khushi!!! And now I will do what I do best!!!"

Naniji saw Arnav rushing down the staircase.

"Where are you going & what did Khushi bitiya say?"

"Nani, I will need your help in this."

He told her his plan. Nani froze in shock as she heard him.

"But Bitwa--"

Arnav was gone by that time...

Hostel

Khushi was pacing to & fro in a restless manner.

"Now I can join the dots!!!! Arnavji didn't know Lavanya would be coming to the farmhouse. He thought it was me. He really loves me & I love him also. But Lavanya also loves him. Because of me, I don't want her to go through a heartbreak because I know how it feels. But even if I back out, Arnavji will never go back to Lavanya as love can't be forced. So the conclusion is I don't know what to do!!!! I don't want Lavanya to suffer from pain!"

She was feeling giddy with confusion.

"Devi Maiyya! Did you get only my life to try out the love triangle formula??" she chided.

Khushi was so stressed out that sleep invaded her in no time...

Morning

"Sir, veg or non-veg. Mam, veg or non-veg."

A tremor shook her sleepy mind when her ears heard those words. She had experienced it before too...She didn't dare open her eyes for she very well knew she was not in her hostel room...Actually she knew where she was...

She opened her droopy eyes bravely & sunlight graced her through the oval shaped window...& her worst nightmare presented itself in the form of reality...

"Khushi, do you want tea or coffee?"

She saw him & also the air-hostess with two mugs. This time she didn't scream nor punched him. Arnav's intense eyes were glued to her.

"W-Where...where am I...?" she asked with a lump in her throat...

Arnav smirked passionately , "You are in Air India flight no AI5432 which had taken off from Mumbai & will land in Shimla within some time!"

Khushi's eyes nearly popped out!

"Oops!!Not Again!!!!!"
