New Character: Anita : she is Aastha's cousin sister.

Chapter 2

Aastha went to her cabin and started working on file thinking," Yeh kaisa hai!! Pehle din mein itna kaam.." while shlok was hearing as he came to give some file.

"If you are so tired then why you came for job haan?" shlok said angrily.

"Do you think if Gupta appreciated so I will also... please don't expect... you have to work here all day" said Shlok handing her more work.

Aastha gritted her teeth keeping a fake smile and continued her work.

Shlok just left saying this and thought," Just wait and watch..!!"

It was 8 pm and she was rushing to complete her work and go home... She stood up at 8:30 and collected her materials kept here and there and went outside in search of Auto.

By luck she got auto soon and Shlok came shouting," Take your..." before he could complete her auto vanished.

He gritted his teeth and called her again and again but her phone was silent. He became more angry and left home.

He reached home in a while and Sojal opened the door.

"You came... I thought that..." said Anjali.

"Baba... vo... I am ready to go to Delhi for th.." before shlok could complete Niranjan smiled and said," I knew... here is your ticket and its of Monday."

"Is your P.A..." said Anjali.

"Stop poking your nose in my work !! How many time I have to say you this?" said Shlok and made his way to his room.

He started checking the gupta's file which Aastha created today to find some mistakes but he didn't found. Niranjan Agnihotri saw him disturbed and came in with food.
He offered shlok food and asked," What happened?"

"Nothing baba... office work..." shlok said,

"Today Gupta was saying.. your PA made very nice project" said Niranjan smiling.

"You know she is Mr Avdoot Kirloskar's daughter... I came to know today!!" he said in continuation.

"Oh..!! So you may be calling them also on Sunday... right!!" said Shlok.

"Yes!! So she's working great!!" said Niranjan.

"If someone compliments doesn't mean she's perfect..." Shlok said.

"So she is Mr Kirloskar's daughter with whom..." Before she could complete Niranjan stopped her in between.

"Yes... she is... and..." Anjali left hearing Niranjan cutting her sentence.

Aastha reached home and rang the door bell Ting-tong'. Kalindi came running to open the door and shouted," why are you so late? It was your first day and..."

"Maa... calm down... Shlok sir gave me lot of work as I am his PA so..." said Aastha moving inside.

Kalindi closed the door and followed Aastha to the dining table where she was putting water in glass and she said," Maa what's in food?"

"First of all you listen that we are going Pune for Anita's wedding and we will be living there for one week..." said Avdoot in excitement.

"Wow great... I am going for my packing..." said Aastha rushing to her room.

Kalindi went to Aastha's room along food where Aastha was busy in packing her clothes. Kalindi made her seated on bed and offered her food when Aastha said," maa I have to give leave application also tomorrow for leave..."

"Yes and eat food first... and stay away from your sir... okay..." said Kalindi.

"Maa you don't need to say because my sir is too Akdu... he only stays away from girls as if he have allergy :P " said Aastha eating food and giggling.

"Aastha I am serious..." said Kalindi.

Ajju entered the room saying," Kalindi stop worrying... our Aastha is not a kid now... she have grown up..."

"Maa... " before Kalindi could speak Ajju said," Bas..!! "

Kalindi left with Ajju for some kitchen work as Aastha finished dinner.

"Suniye..." said Kalindi to Avdoot.

"Haan... I know what you wanna talk... Kalindi..." said Avdoot.

"Ji... Aastha ko humein batana chahiye tha ki..." said Kalindi...

"She told me... and I gave her the permission" said Avdoot while sitting on Chair.

"Kya..!! Aap toh jaante hai... Niranjan ji Shlok ka rishta lekar hamare ghar aaye the aur humnein mana kar diya tha... kyunki..." said Kalindi..

"Stop worrying Kalindi..." said Avdoot continuing," That matter is OVER".

She nodded and arranged the pillows.

"Kuch toh karna padega... Aastha ki akad (ego) ko kisi bhi tarah nikalna hoga... kyunki Shlok Agnihotri ko ansuna karna is a crime..." Said Shlok.

He went to sleep saying this.

Next morning, "Aastha get up... you have to go to office na... and do give leave application" Kalindi entered Aastha's room with tea.

Aastha got up and rubbed her eyes and went to washroom to get ready. She rushed down in hurry as it was 9 pm and she have to reach till 10 at office. She just said bye and left.

She waited for auto but she didn't got a single till 10 minutes. She saw here and there and on watch and she murmured," bappa aaj Shlok sir late ho jayein office aane mein".

Shlok reached office at 9:20 am and asked," have she came?"

"No sir..." said Rita.

He left to his cabin and asked Rita," when she comes send her..."

She nodded and he went.

Astha got auto at 9:25 am and she reached office at 10:05 am. She rushed inside and Rita asked her," Sir have called you in cabin..."

Aastha saw her watch and said," Bappa now what will happen?"

Shlok saw her from his cabin and looked in anger and saw at clock. Aastha knocked the cabin and he said," yes..."

"Is this the time to come?" Shlok said in anger when Aastha reached till table.

"Sir I am sorry... and..." shlok shouted in between... "Kaha tha time pe aana... varna naukri chod do.." .

Aastha was shivering while she said," I am sorry..."

He saw and closed his eyes giving an expression of anger and asked," take this... and make full powerpoint presentation of this in an hour."

"Well you are coming with me to Delhi... for official work..." Shlok said handing her files.

"What?" she shouted.

"Aawaaz neeche..." said Shlok.

"Hum Monday ko niklenge... so better be prepared..." said Shlok.

Aastha handed him a paper. "What's this..?" asked Shlok looking at her.

"Sir vo..." he opened it before she can complete and said," acha kal hi join kiya aur aaj leave... look... this is a office not a mall ki jab mann kiya chal diye.. "

"Sir its my sister's wedding and..." Aastha said. "No... you are coming with me to delhi..." said Shlok.

Aastha left saying this to her cabin... and thought," Akdu toh hai hi... sath mein pagal bhi hai..."

She started working when Shlok entered and said," apna samaan bhi sath mein le jaya karo..." and handed her bag.

He left saying this and moved downstairs and saw an ear ring... she picked up and put in pocket and went down.

He saw his clients standing and welcomed them.

"Hello Mr Shlok... we are glad we will be working with you for this assignment..." said the client.

"Hello... shall we..." said Shlok directing the stairs.

They went to cabin. Aastha completed presentation and went to Shlok's cabin. She gave him files and he directed her to leave.

She left and went to canteen because she didn't have lunch in morning. She ordered sandwich and coffee.

Shlok completed his meeting and the deal was done. The clients left shaking hands with Shlok complimenting that the presentation was very well along with detailed information.

He went to Aastha's cabin and didn't found her there he got frustrated and went down to see whether she is down.

He didn't found her there and went to her cabin. Aastha came after having her breakfast and she went to her cabin and she saw Shlok standing and thought," Now what?"

"Where were you? Don't you think that you need to ask me once before you are going? Shlok said.

"Sir I came to your cabin but you were busy..." Aastha said and her expressions changed when she saw Shlok coming close to her...

She collapsed with the wall and her heartbeat became fast and she closed her eyes as he came so close her.

"So you went without saying me hmm..." said Shlok holding her wrist tight.

"Sir leave... sorry sir..." said Aastha trying to get her hand out of his.

He saw her tears and left her hand and looked at her and looked at door and went.
"What shall I do...?" said Aastha to herself.

She took a deep breath and sat on the chair. She got a call from Shlok who said," come in cabin fast..."

She went and knocked. "Come in..." said Shlok.

"Sit.." he said directing towards the chair.

"He gave her the flight tickets and said," take... your delhi flight tickets".

"But..." Aastha said.

"I have told your parents and they have agreed..." said Shlok.

"You keep this with yourself..."said Aastha.

Aastha was about to leave when shlok said," your files... read this for that project... it will help you..." said Shlok

Aastha nodded and left taking files.

It was 9 pm as she was busy in reading whole file that she didn't noticed what the time was...

Shlok was about to leave the office at 9:30 pm and he saw Aastha's cabin's light on so he went there and saw her reading the file.

"Aaj yahin rehne ka iraada hai?" asked Shlok.

Aastha looked at the watch and thought," OMG 9:30"

Shlok saw her expressions and said," You can complete it tomorrow also..."

Aastha collected her things and left while shlok followed her till downstairs when he saw her falling and he held her... and "Man ke munder pe baithe hai gherke... mujhko ghoore yeh ehsaas... " started playing.
