Madhu was hell shocked to learn about the past. This is not what she expected. It was really painful. Malik & Padmini fell in love when they were really young ,when they were schooling. They had to face so many obstacles in their journey of love. Padmini belonged to a wealthy family. Her father was a well known businessman in Delhi. She had everything, all the comforts. But only Malik could give the happiness she wanted in her life. Her father never understood the deep bond between these two lovers.
Padmini's father was strictly against their relationship as Malik was the son of a clerk who worked in his own office. There was a huge difference between the family backgrounds of the two families. Malik had all the qualities to be an ideal husband for Padmini except being rich. He was a good human being, had good qualities & he loved her so much more than anyone. Padmini's father didn't want to suffer his daughter without the comforts which she had after the marriage. He wanted Padmini to get married to a wealthy guy, who was a son of one of his friends.
Malik & Padmini's relationship was strong, no one could stop them. The love birds could last their love life for 5 yrs, struggling & facing lots of hardships. Once Malik's father lost his job because of this. Malik didn't want his father to suffer because of him. He thought of sacrificing his love life on behalf of his family. But Padmini didn't want to lose him. He threatened him that she will commit suicide if he leaves her. They couldn't live without each other.
Their love grew day by day. Finally they reached the peak of their love, unleashing their desires. Madhu was the result of it. Padmini got pregnant before the marriage. Padmini was dumped out of her house by her father as it was a great disgrace for them. Malik & Padmini settled down at Malik's place. Malik's parents couldn't help them, they didn't want to clash with Padmini's parents.
Padmini's mother, being a heart patient was shocked & her condition turned out to be critical as she didn't want to lose her daughter. Padmini's father had to bring Malik & Padmini for the sake of his wife's condition & get them married. His father wanted the couple to get separated. The only reason could hold them on was their unborn child. Padmini's father planned to kill their unborn baby numerous times but he failed as Malik was too protective about Padmini.
Unfortunately an astrologer who was close to Padmini's family predicted that if Padmini delivers a girl child, it would guide to the destruction of the whole family. Padmini's family was shocked by his prediction, specially her dad who wanted to kill their baby got a valid reason to abort the child. But Malik & Padmini didn't want to lose their symbol of love. They didn't believe any of the predictions. They didn't care about the gender of their baby. They just wanted to welcome their bundle of joy & raise him or her & live happily for the rest of their life.
Finally the date arrived where Padmini was going through labor pains. She beard all of them as she was going to give birth to the child of the man whom she loves the most. Malik was there by her side. All of them were shocked when the doctor informed that Padmini was in a critical stage due to complications of her pregnancy. The doctor said they could save only one either Padmini or the baby, keeping all of them in a state of shock. Padmini's family members were pleading to save her, where as Malik was in a dilemma, he wanted to save both of them. Malik didn't want to lose his wife neither his child.
Padmini's father blamed Malik for being responsible for this situation. He wanted to save his daughter. They doctors tried their best, but unfortunately little Madhu was born leaving her mom in a coma. Padmini went into a coma due to some critical pregnancy complications. Malik as well as Padmini's parents were left shocked. Padmini's father wanted to kill the new born baby as he kept complaining that this baby was responsible for his daughter's state. The baby was transferred in to a special baby care unit. Finally Padmini's father planned to suffocate the baby & kill her with the help of a hospital minus staff servant.
Padmini's father's efforts were all in vain as Malik caught them. Padmini's father threatened Malik to go away from their lives with the baby unless he will kill the baby. Malik didn't have any other option. He could have informed the police but Padmini's father had so many close connections with the higher level police officers. Malik couldn't leave Padmini under this condition, but he had to take a decision as the life of the baby was on his hand. He didn't want to lose his new born baby. Finally he decided to go away from all of these for the sake of his baby's life, even sacrificing his Padmini. He knew that there are so many to take care about his Padmini but none was there other than him for their new born baby.
Malik took little Madhu with him to Mumbai where her elder sister lived. Malik's elder sister , Nandini was married to a businessman there but they weren't lucky to be parents. They wanted to adopt Madhu. But Malik didn't like it, he didn't want little Madhu to lose her identity being a child of him. Malik lived with them joining his brother in law Raj's company. Malik could achieve his goals as a successful businessman under the guidance of Raj.
Nandini & Raj wanted Malik to get married to look after little Madhu. But Malik, being a loyal partner for Padmini didn't agree with them. He somehow managed both his work & the chores of his little daughter. Nandini & Raj migrated to USA leaving all the properties under Malik. As they didn't have any children, they legally wrote all of their properties to Malik. Mohan Kundra who was also a businessman in Mumbai was introduced to Malik by Raj. Mohan & Malik became business partners & also best friends in a short period of time.
On the other hand Padmini gain consciousness after 3 years & she was searching for Malik & her baby. Parents of her lied that both of her baby & Malik died in an accident. Padmini's world was shattered in to pieces. Their parents wanted her to get married again, but Padmini was not in a condition to do that. Finally she was forced to marry a son of one of his father's friend. Later they migrated to Australia. Malik found about Padmini from a cousin of her who was living in Mumbai. There was nothing left in his life other than his daughter. Malik decided to live keeping all of these pains inside him & he wanted to make his daughter's future better.
Malik wiped his tears after unfolding the past painful story. Madhu didn't expect this. Father -daughter duo kept at each other with teary eyes. 'Why did it happen?'' 'Why?'' Madhu kept crying from her heart. 'My parents had to separate because of me! I'm unlucky! Yes I am! A daughter meant to be the lucky charm of her parents. But me? I am the only reason for their separation! Yes me!'' Madhu kept scolding herself. 'Daddy had to face all the hardships because of me. My mom had to face a critical situation because of me!''
'Madhu, Malik came near her. He wiped her tears. 'This was the story I was afraid to tell you darling.'' 'Daddy, I wish I couldn't have listened to it.'' She said looking at the night sky. It is so dark today , the moon was covered with dark clouds. 'Daddy, my life is like that dark sky, I have lost my moon already. I've lost my mother.'' Another tear rolled down her cheeks. ' Madhu..'' Malik tried to console her. 'Daddy, please leave me alone. I want to be alone for a while. But sweety.. Daddy please..'' 'Oh ok.'' Malik left the room closing the door gently.
Madhu was all alone in her room. She was scolding herself. She felt so lonely. She hated all. She hated to live in this cruel world. She kept blaming herself to be responsible for her parents separation. She heard her phone vibrating. She picked it up. It had 28 missed calls from her best friend Rishabh. Rishabh was worried about her. But Madhu was not in a mood to answer them. She dropped her phone on the bed.
Hours passed. It was almost 4 am in the morning. Malik didn't want to disturb talking to her daughter again. Madhu always wanted to stay alone & calm down herself when a problem comes to her. It was her nature. Malik hoped that everything will be fine soon & Madhu will get back to normal. But he find out that he was wrong when he just peeped in to Madhu's room to check whether she was sleeping. He couldn't believe his eyes. He saw his little daughter lying on the bed, with bleeding hands. 'Madhu!! He screamed.
