I started reading this story for many reasons... firstly, I was not feeling sleepy as I had slept all afternoon because of my fever n secondly, I've classes only at 11 tomorrow allowing me to stay awake... n I'm happy for all that...
I love this story... I read all the parts in one go like a novel... n now I wish I read this a little more late so that I could have read the entire story together!!
Zoya sacrificed her own life n love for Asad n his family... I wonder how will Asad react after knowing everything... how will Dilshad face him?? Will she be ready to accept Zoya back as she is the one who pushed her away?
Earlier, Asad was jealous n now Zoya... it's gonna be interesting... Asad accepted her back without any more questions... I really hope nothing else comes in between them...

P.S. you're a Westlife fan? I've heard one or two songs of them n there was this particular song I liked but I don't really remember the lyrics... it was few years back I heard it... the in between lines were like 'black sheep of the family' or something... they're all dressed in black n it was kinda black n white BG... the video attracted me then the song... I hope you know which song I'm talking about... I would love to hear it once again...

Ayaan saw his brother leaving Zoya's dressing room with a rare mischevious smile, making Ayaan lose his cool.
Ayaan-Bahut ho gaya, Aaj to kuch karna hi padega, I need to get some answers, aakhir kya hai in dono ke beech mein'.
With that he kick started his bike and drove off, with a mission at hand, his partner in crime on her way to join him at his home.
Ayaan waited by the door, pacing restlessly for Huemira's arrival, he was hell bent in getting some answers tonight, and he felt it was the right moment, with no one at home.
15 minutes later Humeria came by the gate, making Ayaan look up, getting lost in how beautiful she looked.He was a man in love and was not afraid to let it show.Making his way towards Humeira he grabber her by the waist and lifted her off the ground, taking her in for a hug. She giggled at his gesture and kissed him on his cheek.She was indeed very happy to see him after a week.
Huemira-Missed me??? She ruffled his hair and he laughed.

Ayaan-Jo hukumm Humeira begam'. He followed her in.
Ayaan-I guess humein Asad bhaijaan ke bedroom se shuruwaat karni chaahiya'. Humeira nodded and followed him in the room, still not sure what they were looking for.

Both made their way to Asad's pristine bedroom; Decorated with class and elegance, Asad's room was a reflection of him. Crisp, clean and impressive. He was man that liked order and both made it a point to keep things back the way they took it.
Humeira took over his desk and night stands, while Ayaan rummaged through his walk-in closet. He was amazed by his brothers OCD, as he was the complete opposite, messey, vibrant and all over the place.He carefully went through his stuff, maintining their place. Drawer after drawer, shelf after shelf, but nothing of importance caught their eye.Huemira decided to take a break while Ayaan gave his closet drawers another try, hoping that second time would be a charm.Rummaging through the lowest drawer of Asad's closet, he finally found a file he had missed, carefully picking it up he stood, motioning Humeira to come, But just as she stood up, she heard the main door open, Asad's voice filling in the silence. She panicked and quickly gestured Ayaan, who hastily opend the drawer and stuffed the file in, but not before a single piece of paper, a paper that would hinder Asad's healing slipped through the file, landing on a pile of clothes, going unnoticed by Ayaan. Both of them slowly made their way to the living room, trying their best to be nonchalant.
It seemed like Asad was busy on the phone, and by his tone, Ayaan knew he was talking to his ammi. Asad sensing some movement around him turned around to find Ayaan and Humeira making their way towards him, he nodded and smiled at Humeira.
Asad- haa ammi kal sham 7 baje driver aapko lene aa jaayega, I am sorry but due to the schedule mein aur Ayaan nahi aa paayenge, but maine saari arrangements kar di hai, so aap aur Najma, ghar chale jaane, dinner karke so jaana, we'll be late. Hum phir subah milenge then Chalo mein rakhta hu, o haa, Ayaan yahi hai yeh lijye baat kariye, mein fresh jaa raha hu so allah hafiz and good night, Najma ko bhi wish kar dena, Bye' With that he handed the phone to Ayaan.
Asad-Ayaan mein fresh hone jaa raha hu, tum baat karke ph mere night stand pe rakh dena k??
Ayaan-Theek hai bhaijaan, asalaam walekum Ammi'
Dilshaad-Waalekum asalaam Ayaan, are yeh lo mujhse pehle Najma tumse baat karna chaati hai, phir use ready hona hai'
Dilshad gave the phone to Najma, both the siblings enjoying the conversation that followed. Finally Dilshad took the phone and talked with Ayaan.
Dilshad- Ayaan kaise ho mere bte, yahan aake to tumse roz baat hi nahi ho paati, everyone here wanted to congratulate you for your movie, they cant wait for it to release so they all can go watch it. I wish mein bhi hoti wahan tumhare movie launch pe, but yahan jaana bhi zaroori tha, khair meri chodo tum batao, kaisa hai sab kuch?? Humeira kaisi hai?? Aur tumhari shooting kasie chal rahi hai.
Ayaan- Ammi sab ko meri taraf se thank you keh dena, aur I missed you too on the launch day, but mein jaanta tha ki aapki dua hamesha mere saath hai. Humeira yahi thi, aur bas do minute pehle nikli hai, mein usko aapka salaam keh dunga. Aur rahi baat shooting ki kya baat karu.This is the best time of my life,mein woh kar raha hu jo mujhe pasand hai, aur mere bhaijaan mere saath hai, is se better aur kya ho sakta hai. Everyone is amazing on the sets and hum kaam ke saath saath maze bhi kar rahe hai, aur pata hai sabse amazing baat kya hai ammi..
Dilshad smiled happy at Ayaan's enthusiasm..
Dilshad-Haan kya hai??
Ayaan- Asad bhaijaan, he was the biggest surprise on the sets. Dilshad's heart stopped, did she hear it right??? Did Ayaan just say Zoya?? was it really her?? She needed to know..

Ayaan caught on to his ammi's curiosity and told her..
Ayaan- Arre ammi, Zoya, Zoya Farooqi, meri film ki heroine, saach me she is such an awesome person, pehle to she helped me out and agreed to do my film, then usne pure sets pe khusiyaan bikherdi...n 1 thing I am most thankful for is, she made my brother smile..she is the best ammi aap ne use milna chaahiye..

Dilshad was taken aback,hearing what she heard. She didn't know what to do..
Ayaan- Ammi, aap ho???
Dilshad.- uh oh..huh..haan
Ayaan- Kya hua?? Aap achanak itna chup kyun ho gayi?? Aap ko to khush hona chaahiye ki Asad bhaijaan ki hasi waapis aa gayi hai' He pushed it a little farther, hoping to get a reaction.
Dilshad-Huh haan who beta, darasal mujhe kuch kaam yaad aa gaya,umm mein uh phone rakhti hu ...theek hai uh bte??With that Dilshaad put the phone down, confirming Ayaan's doubt.
Ayaan-Now I am 100% sure ki Asad bhaijaan aur Zoya ke beech mein kuch to hai and ab mein is baat ko jaan kar hi rahunga, and Dilshad ammi will be the one to tell me all about it. He walked towards Asad's room with conviction.

Dilshad put the phone down and walked in a daze, she wasn't present in the now, her head going back to the time, when...

Dilshad felt broken, Rashid's condition was not getting any better and she had no one to go to.Najma was too young to understand, and had her exams round the corner,Shireen was of no help as she herself was broken, how was she to console anyone else. Dilshad needed her son, she needed Asad to be with her, holding her, telling her it would be alright, giving her strength to fight it all,but instead he was not even talking to her, he wanted nothing to do with his father.Not knowing what to do and how to get Asad, dilshad just broke down. She cried and cried and cried, letting herself go. Losing her senses, and losing the ability to see right from wrong, she took a step towards the biggest mistake of her life.

Zoya- Ammi aap itni late kaise?? Sab theek to hai naa???
Dilshaad- Zoya mujhe mera beta waapis chahiye..
Zoya- Ammi...aap kya keh rahi hai mujhe kuch nahi samajh aa raha..
Dilshad- Zoya mujhe kuch nahi sun na, mujhe bas mera beta waapis mere saath yahan chaaiye,tum mere bte ko chod do, aaj tumhari wajah se hi woh mere paas nahi aa raha, tumne ek bte ko apni maa se alag rakha hai, agar khuda ka thoda sa bhi kauf hai tum mein , to tum mere Asad ko azaad kar do, use kuch bhi karke mere paas bhej do, yeh tumse ek maa ki minnat hai. Please Zoya is maa par ehsaan kardo aur use apna beta lauta do...'
Dilshad had gotten what she wanted by taking away the same thing she was fighting for, Zoya's love. And it seemed like god had punished her for such a selfish act, and snatched her love away from her.
She could not face herself, or her son anymore...and her deeds pulled her in a dark dungeon of pain, and resentment. She never came out of it completely, even after regaining her awarness of the world. She couldn't face what she had done, and everynight she would cry, she would pray to Allah to somehow give her a chance to make it up to that girl and her son. Her son, she had lost him the day he came back, he was no longer the same Asad, and she was to blame. She tried to tell him, tried to mend things, but she was too late, her state had robbed her off of time, and her son no longer allowed anyone in.
The only thing that kept her going, was Najma, she had stayed in touch with Zoya's aapi, secretly asking her of Zoya and apologizing on her mom's behalf. Dilshaad knew that Zoya was strong, and finding out thorugh Najma that she was giving life another chance, made her survive. Everynight she prayed, for a miracle, a miracle that would bring both her children together,and give them a second chance. And finally after 4.5 years god had granted her that wish, a chance to make things right and bring together Asad and Zoya.
Wiping her tears, she pondered on Ayaan's words and smiled. Zoya was back and already she was mending her sons heart. Now it was her turn to mend Zoya's heart.

Zoya was running late, she had not slept the whole night, falling asleep only 2 hours ago. She was sleepy,tired and very cranky. It was going to be a long day,and Zoya just prayed that she could make it through.As she got to the set her eyes involuntarily scanned her surrounding, searching for him, finally stopping, staring at him, busy on his phone. He was smiling, talking to the person on the other hand,his smile easing Zoya's distress. She felt better, and walked in to get ready.

Zoya was all set and ready to shoot. It had been an hour, and she made her way to the shooting, only to be caught by Asad, still on the phone. That got her curious, so she decied to walk up to him and inform him about the shoot.

Zoya patted on Asad's shoulder to get his attention.

Zoya- Umm Asad..

Asad- Umm ek minute Tanveer, ya bolo Zoya'

Did he just say hold on Tanveer???Had he been talking to her all this time?? For an hour?? Somehow that bothered her, but decided to put it aside.

Zoya- Umm the shot is ready, I think you should ... She pointed towards his phone,

Asad- Oh Oh ya sure..k Tanveer, call you in a bit..umm hmm..same here..tc' Chale?? He asked a resigned Zoya.

Zoya- uh umm..oh ya chalo'

They started walking, Asad busy with his phone,while Zoya was lost in her thoughts, Her headache had gotten worse trying to understand the part of the conversation she just heard. She was not liking this feeling, she just wanted to get the day over with.

But the day turned out to be longer than expected, with Asad being on the phone every moment he got to himself. Zoya was burning inside,she was being ignored and she was not liking it. Damn this Tanveer, didn't she have anything better to do?? Haan haan Asad ki fianc hai'she made a face at the word "fianc" not liking it a wee bit.'but yaar comeon let the guy breathe,pure din phone pe phone pe phone,' Zoya muttered to herself. Asad happened to pass by and heard her ranting.

Asad- Kya hua Zoya sab theek to hai?? He asked, as innocently as he could, trying to keep the mischief at bay. He knew he was hitting the right buttons, and it was just a matter of a few more strikes, and he would hit the home run. Zoya was getting jealous and it was giving Asad the greatest of pleasures, seeing her boil.

Zoya- Nahi kuch nahi, tum please continue talking to Tanveer, waise bhi she has hardly gotten the chance to talk to you', She said sarcasam oozing in every word.

Asad- O ya tum theek keh rahi ho, kal tumhari baat sunke mujhe laga ki I should invest some time towards her,well thank you for that, chalo mein tumhe next shot pe milta hu'. With that he walked away, smiling like a cheshire cat as he turned.

Zoya- what the hell?? Allah miyaan whats wrong with him?? Baat tak theek se nahi ki, and just walked away, whatever, why do I care'. She just busied herself, trying to move past it all, unaware of what was in store for her next.

Sleep deprevation, headache, crazy shooting, and adding to the misery, Tanveer making her way on the sets looking stunning, just made Zoya lose her cool. She tried getting away from seeing Asad and Tanveer together, but before she could walk away her lack of attention made her collide with someone..

Zoya- OMG I am so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going..so sorry'

She helped the guy and turned around, only to see Asad..Wait was he smirking at her??? Whatever, she started walking again, only to be stopped by one of the crew members.

Zoya couldn't catch a break, she was stuck in a situation, where on one side the persone was giving her information she couldn't understand, and on the other side Asad and Tanveer seemed to be getting too close for her liking. Her nostrils flared and she excused herself from the person and stomped her way to Asad.

Zoya- Oh hello guys, Tanveer its so nice to meet you' Zoya spoke with her best sugar coated voice, as she took in Tanveer for a tight hug, making a point to crease her crisp s**ty dress..

Tanveer- Uh hi Zoya is it??

Zoya- ya so what brings you here?? Keeping an eye on your man?? Zoya's voice was mocking.

Tanveer- Huh what do u ...

Asad intervened- Tanveer chodo bhi in baato ko, lets just go to my van, and we can have lunch together and talk. Zoya I'll see in a bit, why don't you go and have your lunch too?? With that he made his way to his van, his arm holding Tanveer at her waist...

Zoya-ARRGGHH...Im gonna kill him, nobody ignores Zoya Farooqi..I'll show him arrghh...' She stomped off , mad as hell, while Asad looked out his van and smiled at her reaction.

He knew he was going a little overboard, but he needed to do this, to gauge on Zoya's emotions, if she still felt the same way. He needed to know for his own peace of mind, to move ahead and take charge of his life again.

After about an hour Asad finally came out with Tanveer and made his way to the shoot.Seating Tanveer on his spot he proceeded towards the crew to resume shooting. Zoya wouldn't look at him, if she did her eyes would betray her, and all her rage would become visible.Tanveer presence was not doing her good, and it didn't matter to her that she was Asad's fianc, she just wanted Tanveer to stay away from him, he was hers..'Wait what did I just say?? Thought Zoya... get a grip on your thoughts and concentrate on the work at hand. What Asad does is his personal business'With that they proceeded with the scene.

Asad- Nahi Zoya aise nahi, wait lemme get Tanveer here, and she'll show you how its done'. With that he offered his hand to Tanveer taking her to the spot.

They looked into each others eyes and started to act out a very emotional and romantic scene. Zoya couldn't stand the proximity between them and squirmed inwardly everytime, they touched.Tanveer finally closed in the distance standing flush against Asad. Slowly she caressed his face and tip toed as if reaching for his lips. That was the final straw, and Zoya grabbed Asad's hand and pulled him away, making Tanveer almost lose her balance.

Asad masked his triumph and feigned ignorance.He looked at Zoya acting confused. Zoya just glared at him

Zoya-What the hell was that all about?'She whirpered menancingly

Asad-What are you talking about??

Zoya- You and Tanveer, what was that all about?

Asad- Arre hume to bas tumhe..

Zoya- Mujhe kuch nahi sun na..that was in appropriate...n I can act...I don't need that bimbo to show me acting..big deal 3 movie kya kar li...dimag to phir bhi nahi hai...'Zoya ranted..

Asad couldn't help but laugh, gaining a death glare from Zoya..

Zoya-You know what, do what you want, I give a damn, laugh all you want to..Waise bhi tumhari FIANCE jo hai..I care less.. she finally walked away.

Every one took a 5, Zoya just sat on her chair feeling grumpy and bothered. She was unable to move past it all..Just then Ayaan took the seat next to her and sat down.

Ayaan-Kya hua Zoya sahibaa?? Sab khairiyat??

Zoya-Ya Ayaan all good'

Ayaan-Comeon you can tell me whats bothering you, I mean kabse dekh raha hu,its taking you more takes then usual, aakhir baat kya hai??

Zoya- Nothing Ayaan, I just didn't get enough sleep that's all'.

Zoya wasn't listening to Ayaan anymore, just as realization dawned on her that Asad wasn't engaged, she started to catch on to the hints that were always there, but she was too preoccupied to notice. She felt stupid, but more than that she was mad, mad at Asad for not correcting her assumption...she forgot all about Ayaan and ran in the direction where she had seen Asad last.

Seeing asad's sillouthe in the receeding sunlight, Zoya finally slowed down, trying to cath her breath, before she made her way towards him.Getting further and seeing Asad and Tanveer in an embrace, made Zoya all about civility as she rushed to them both and broke their embrace.

Zoya- Bye Tanveer it was nice to see you, tc good night.' With that she dismissed Tanveer, givng her no chance to respond, shoving her in the car.

Zoya- Aur tum, she glared at Asad.

Asad smirked,-- Hmm aur mein kya Zoya??

Zoya- Stop acting sly Mr. I have a bone to pick with you'

Asad slowly made his was to the wall and leaned on it lazily, his eyes glued on Zoya.

Asad-Shoot'

Zoya-How dare you lie to me Asad??

Asad- hmm and when exactly did I lie to you btw??

Zoya- Stop this act...you lied to me that you were engaged and led me to believe otherwise..you don't even know the..

Asad interrupted her..

Asad- Sorry to stop you mid sentence but let me make a few things clear, 1^st, I never lied to you, I never told you I was engaged to Tanveer, you made that up all in your head, infact I even told you to use your brain. Yes I will agree that I let you believe so, now carry on'

Zoya was stumped, she couldn't believe the nerve of this man.

Zoya-I cant believe you, I just cant believe you, here it was eating me up alive, and I had to put in all my energy, not ripping that bimbo's head, and you, you didn't even have the decency to tell me...

Asad- Why?? He lazily leaned on the wall, but his eyes were getting intense.

Zoya just stared at him, gradually acknowledging the reason for her distress.She didn't quite meet his eyes when she said

Zoya eyes bulged, as she gaped at Asad, rushing to him and slamming her balled up fist on his chest.

Zoya-You scoundrel, you did this to get me jealous, you are just a...ARRGGHH,allah miyaan sach keh rahi hu agar hum akele hote to mein tumhara ...ARRGGHHH...With that she started to turn away, but Asad held on to her fist, that had punched him on his chest.

His eyes were dancing with mischief, his smile wicked. He just held her to him and looked at her and laughed at her, making her all the more angry...

Asad-O Zoya, Zoya Zoya Zoya, you just made my day, boosted my ego at this victory' he winked wickedly and kept me entertained through this long gruesome day..Man how I love to see you jealous' He shook his head, laughing his heart out.

Zoya lost her cool and tried to slap him back to his senses, but her just grabbed her hand and kissed it. She gasped

Zoya- What the hell Asad, get a grip on yourself and let me go, you are not my favorite person right now..

Asad just smiled at her, his wicked smile, and slowly leaning closer, lifting her chin he sealed her lips with his in a quick yet pungent kiss, before letting her go.

Asad- Here you go meri jaan and he walked back to the shoot, leaving a tingly yet mad Zoya behind.

The shoot continued till 9, with a livid Zoya and an arrogant Asad, barely making it thorugh. Zoya avoided Asad like a plague and made her way to her room, ready to end the day,when her phone buzzed with a text message. It was his aapi and she wrote.

what is your day like tomorrow Zoya??

Zoya texted back

The same as today all day on the shoot, why??

Aapi- Well I have a surprise on its way for you, so just needed to know where to deliver it'

Zoya-Ooo a surprise, cant wait, please tell me aapi kya bhej rahe ho plz plz plz..'

Aapi- Who to tumhe kal pata chal hi jaayega, so have some patience..

Zoya-Come on aapi, atleast koi hint to de do..

Aapi- Well since my Zoya has had a few bad days, I've decided to send you something that would cheer you up, and the second reason for the gift is, that maybe it will make things a little easier between you and Asad ;)

Zoya- Aapi please Asad ka naam na lo, he is such a ..Arrghhh, I just hate him right now..
