What did I just watch?!? Everything that happened in today's episode was UNEXPECTED. I was hoping that there shouldn't be too much drama when the 2 families see them together but yahan toh drama hua hi nahi😆

But, it seems like the whole family is aware of what Shlok is doing with Astha, which is why there was no interaction shown regarding whatever that happened.
Shlok/Astha
First part of the episode, Shlok was trying to make Astha do stretching exercises, by helping her stretch her hands, her feet, her physical strength etc. with all the pushing/pulling that was happening😆
On a serious note, their conversation was quite unique. Shlok was calm, soft & seductive while Astha was fiery & restless.
Somewhere Anjali's words have sunk in & synced with Shlok's behaviour (abuse) towards her. I think that Astha has finally understood what Anjali was trying to say. The whole glass dialogue was with relation to Shlok & his demons, which he very nicely hides from the world but have not remained hidden infront of Astha, in the way he has been mistreating her physically & verbally. Thus, Astha wants to maintain her distance from Shlok. The physical attraction is very much still there, but currently her mind is in control of her actions. Shlok is no longer in the centre of her universe.
On the other hand, I found Shlok's possessiveness & his notion that she belongs to him to have overshadowed his desire for revenge today. He definitely wanted her to confess her feelings so that he could break her & his ego would be satisfied, but when it actually happened today (she did indirectly confess her feelings) he was happy but his obsession for her did not end. He did not just throw her thought away & go into a peaceful sleep. Rather, it looked as if he did not sleep all night & was thinking. Thinking about her. And his anger when she returned the sari stemmed out not just from his ego but also from the fact that he's started to enjoy the chase & now she is backing out. The lines between his growing possessiveness as well as desire for revenge have blurred. She has become his habit, his addiction as well as his toy. So, on one hand he is enjoying the revenge; defaming her infront of the whole office by giving her sari & on the other hand, he is satisfying his own obsession for her; treating her like a princess by giving new gifts to her. And rather than asking her what she wants, he gives her things as he likes & expects her to like it & doll herself up with it. To look good for him. To please him. Everything for him. He's starting to centre his universe around her, & expects her to do the same.
I can't believe he ripped her sleeves so that she would have no choice but to wear the sari. Scary.
Avdoot/Kalindi
LOL. Avdoot copied his line from my post yesterday, when he told Kalindi to shut her eyes & ears. They are definitely Dritharashtra & Gandhari from Mahabharat. So, these 2 definitely passed the test today & may come across as ideal parents who trust their daughter. But this is not going to do them any good, because what they did today was BLIND FAITH. How could they just ignore their daughter being in the arms of another man?!?
Even Astha is smarter than them. Because at least, she is now using her brains to think.
Chacha/Anjali/Sojal/Kavya/NA
Aww.. Kavya is a cutie & Chachaji is really smart. Love him.
What I found interesting was that NA clearly told Anjali to consult Sojal regarding the selction of the girls. But Sojal, instead of obeying, did the opposite. She gave the photos to Sojal & told her to pass it on to Shlok.
As mean as NA has been to Anjali, she has been very hard on herself all these years in ensuring that no matter what she shouldn't break any ritual/custom, even if NA allows her to do so. Girls don't have a say & so she did not allow Sojal to have a say even though NA allowed for it. Probably because Anjali doesn't trust herself enough & fears that if she gives in once & breaks customs/rituals, she will do them again & again? So, NA is not exactly the centre of her universe. She has centred her world around all these rituals/customs to escape the reality of her world. Also NA's dialogue that he chose Anjali.. so could it be that Anjali had no say with regards to her marriage?
