Telly Tadka - Ankita and Karan Mehra paired together for PR

The generation leap in Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV has been the talk of the town for quite sometime now. Finally things have materialized and the show is gearing up for a generation leap of 18-20 years.

Ankita Lokhande who essays the role of Archana will now be seen essaying a younger version of herself with the leap. If sources are to be believed, Ankita Lokhande in the post leap story line might play the daughter of the angry-young man, Sohum (Ankit Narang). She will have a younger brother Prashant, which is most likely to be played by Nishant Raghuwanshi.

The makers have roped in the handsome Karan Mehra to play the lead opposite Ankita post the leap. With new characters and new families being introduced in the show, viewers can also see Vikrant Chaturvedi of Gadar-Ek Prem Kahani, Netaji - The Forgotten Hero fame essaying the role of Karan Mehra's father in the show.
